- Personally I don’t like using mind maps because they take time to
complete.

– A mood board is good because you have a good idea of
what images you want to use in your product.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Sometimes take time to make.

• I like using mood boards because they help you in many ways.

– The strengths of using this method is that you can see
what fonts that you want to use and have a good idea
of what you want.

– The weaknesses of using this method is that you will
have more than one font to use.

• I like using this method because I get a good Idea of what
fonts I will use in my product and also what colours I like.

• Strengths of using this method
– A strength of using a layout plan is that you get to plan out
what you want to do before actually doing the final image.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– A weakness is that it may not look as good as when you
finally make in photoshop.

• I liked using this method because I wanted to know what my
design would look like and now I have a good idea of what it
will be.

• Strengths of using this method
– The strength of using this method is that you can come up with many
ideas at once. Also you will have many ideas so you will be able to
choose between them.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Some people might not be very good at coming up with ideas in their
head or in the the moment.

• I like using this method because you can come up with many ideas on the
spot and also have a good idea of what you're doing.
13. Initial Reaction
• My initial reaction to doing this project is that
I enjoy making things in photoshop so I am
happy about doing this project. I am not really
sure how I would be able to animate my
picture that I made in photoshop. Also I will
be able to add sounds into my animation but I
don’t know how to do that either.

– If you don’t have good ideas then you might not

• I like using this method because you can create a wide
range of ideas and use them for your final project.

– A strength of using this method is that you have a good idea of the
game that you want. Also you will learn how to transfer how to get
things from paper onto the computer.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Some people might not be very good at drawing and wont be able to
really see what you have drawn and will be hard to copy it onto
Photoshop.

• I don’t really like using this method because I'm not that good at
drawing and I'm not good at designing things on paper.
17. Formal Proposal
• Strengths of using this method
– This method is good because you plan out who your product is
going to be for and also if it is suitable for different languages.
Also get to learn the legal issues of a product.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– This method is bad because the reader can’t question the writer and
enter into discussion. Also Proposal can be quite wordy and not
everybody wants to read long ideas.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• I didn’t like using this method because I don’t really enjoy filling out long
documents.
