19. Academic History
• I studied and did my GCSE's at Tadcaster Grammar School and the subjects that I
chose were creative media, electronics and computer science. I enjoyed these
subjects but computer science was one of the subjects that I didn’t really enjoy
because of how hard it was. I really enjoyed creative media as I loved creating
different types of projects throughout the years. In our school we didn’t have the
best software so it wasn’t the best experience but while I was at home I was using
photoshop so I knew how to use it before I came to college. Electronics was one of
my top subjects in school as I found it interesting as I didn’t know that much about
it in the beginning but then as time went on I got to know more and how to do
different practical activities. I enjoyed most of my time at Tadcaster Grammar
School with my friends and in the subjects that I enjoyed.
20. Current Study
• I am currently studying creative media at York
college and I going to be focusing on
the photography and graphic design aspect of
this subject because this is what I want to do in
the future. Film also interests me too as from a
young age I used to record me and my friends
riding scooters and cinematography really stood
out to me. I really enjoy this subject because I
love creating and designing things. Also I love to
take pictures and see how they turn out.
21. The Future
• After college I would like to go traveling to
Australia or even different places around the
world to see some of the amazing places and
take photographs to build my portfolio up
with some of the best pictures I have taken.
This will hopefully help with university and
employers when I come back to the UK. After
Travelling I would like to come back to the UK
and go to university to get a degree if needed
then I will see where it leads me to.
22. Outside College
• Outside of college I like to hang out with
friends and also go to the skatepark to scoot, I
have been riding since year 6 so it has been a
long time. Also I enjoy gaming and have
recently turned it into a part time job. I have
been gaming for quite a long time as I have
enjoyed different games throughout the
years.
23. Conclusion
• In conclusion, I think going to university could
really benefit me and help me pursue my
career goals. Before I go to university I want to
build up my portfolio by traveling to Australia
and capturing the best moments that occur. If
I find something that I am passionate about
and enjoy then I stick with it and become the
best I possibly can be and work my hardest on
the specific subject.
24. Introduction
• A course that I am going to apply for will
include photography and graphic design at the
University of Bolton. This course will be good
for me because I enjoy both subjects and I
want to turn them both into a career and
going to university will help me with this. Also
another course that I am interested in would
be Film, TV and stage design but this probably
wont be something that I pursue.
