mind maps as a criteria when making a poster. If you come back to making a
poster in a you have a basic idea of what to do with out having to think about.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Not very detailed so you have to think about it a little bit. There is no imagery
so there is no actual idea of colours and font.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
- I didn’t like it that much because it doesn’t give and idea of what colours to
use, it just gives a general idea of what to do.
6. Mood Board
• Strengths of using this method
– Mood boards help to visualise what you think about when you think of coca
cola which helps you know what to put in the poster.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Mood boards are very time consuming and can be easy to go off topic when
you're running out if ideas

– You can easily change your mind, which would make your layout plan
pointless.

you were to come back to it, it would be hard to understand what you
need to do for your finale piece.

ideas.

– You can generate lots of ideas because everyone will have different thoughts
and ideas.
– You don’t have to think of everything because other people will have ideas as

– You can go off topic easily as you haven’t had much information to guide you
to generate the right ideas.

- yes because It gave me the same ideas as what viewers would think if they
had just heard about an advergame.
20. Sketches
• Strengths of using this method
– You can go into creating it with a basic idea of what you want to do
– You can design quick ideas so that you get variety of ideas
• Weaknesses of using this method
– You cant see if it will work on computer or go well together
– You may not use it making the sketch a waste of time
• Did you like using this method? Why?
- yes because it gave me a good idea of what I want to put in my advergame
21. Formal Proposal
• Strengths of using this method
– Yes because it was like a check list to know what not to put in so that it
wouldn’t be classed as offensive.
• Weaknesses of using this method
- It is hard to make it clear which will not help the viewer know what
your full intensions are which would help your finale piece.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
- yes because it was quick to make and would be effective in real
