• You can say what you would like in words so you can fully get your ideas
though, also you can get a wider range of points (such as talking about
different topics)
• Weaknesses of using this method
• The mind map is the start of your idea so you might not have everything
fully developed and thought out.

• This method is good as you can just get down whatever you are thinking
which can come in use later into the project.
7. Mood Board
• Strengths of using this method
• You have all your visual ideas of everything for your project, it helps you
choose what styles you would be wanting to use. You can start looking at
colours and what different art styles.
• Weaknesses of using this method
• One problem with mood boards is that its only pictures so there is no context
with them. Also, you cant put down whatever like the mind map as it has to be
all linked together.

• They are good to use as sometimes its better to look at a visual slide rather
one full on text as it can be easier to know what you are wanting to do.
9. Style Sheet
• Strengths of using this method
• You can look over many types of styles with different colours to see what
would work better, not only styles but you can look over size and colour of the
different fonts.
• Weaknesses of using this method
• You don’t get as much across as you would a mind map or mood board. Also, it
only accounts for very little of everything you are doing.

• This method isn't very good as you are limited to what you can do on them.
You can already link in style with the over communication methods.
11. Layout Plan
• Strengths of using this method
• You can start to see how everything begins to come together, also you will
have everything from your planning come onto the poster. Others will be able
to gather how it will end up looking.
• Weaknesses of using this method
• It's just a layout so things could be subject to change and use of different
pictures or colours. It also could show less detail/s then you would have
wanted to as you can get it to look 1:1 for what you wanted to.

• This method works well as you can get everything in one place and get a
understanding of what you want the end product to look like. This also the
nearest that you will get to so it'll be the most finished.
