3. Layout 1
CRISTIANO RONALDO
• I used the Portuguese flag as the background as it is relevant to the sportsman, as
Cristiano Ronaldo is from Portugal and therefore plays for the national team. This will
also make the target audience wider, as it is not just people who are just fans of Cristiano
Ronaldo, it could appeal to people who are fans of the whole team.
• The font used for the title is used as I feel it is representative of the poster and fits in with
all other parts of the poster.
• The colours used in the poster are representative of the nation Cristiano Ronaldo is from,
making it relevant to
the performer.
• I used these images as I
feel they suit the poster
style more, the image of
the back of Ronaldo
celebrating is blended
into the background to
make the main focus the
other picture.
4. Layout 2
• I used the Irish flag for the background of this poster, as it is where Conor McGregor is
from, and he is known to be very patriotic. This widens the target audience from just
Conor McGregor fans to fans of Irish culture or Irish people in general.
• The UFC logo has been used in the poster as people recognise this and may buy the
poster if they are fans of UFC.
• The images used all have been slightly blended in to the colour of the flag that they are
in front of. I did this as I feel it makes for a good design and it really puts across the
patriotism of Conor
McGregor. Also these
images have been used as
I believe it shows the
three different sides of
McGregor, egotistical,
passionate, and finally his
calm and collected side,
which he uses in his
fights.
