for both YouTube and the content creator.
• What are the advantages to media producers?
– A way of interacting with fans, making fans more involved with the
product. As well as the producers taking a percentage of money that
the creators generate. Another advantage is that more people will
want to become involved with the product if it is easy to get involved.
Also if a lot of users are creating content for this website, as well as
just visiting the website in general. then they can have adverts on
there websites, giving them a further way of income.
• Why would the audience generate content?
– To be in this product, this could give them a recourse for them to use
to aid further employment. As well as them also being able to make an
income from this, from the product itself, and from possible further
sponsors through this original product. Things could also branch out
from here also, for example from YouTube, to other social media sites,
such as Instagram and Facebook.
