2. Initial Reaction
• My initial thoughts when hearing the set brief
was concern as I was not quite sure what I could
do as at first, I was thinking about doing a
magazine on a video game until it had been
stated we could only use pictures we had taken
which was going to be a problem as its not easy
taking pictures of games until it had also been
mentioned that I could use illustrations I had
done and then I realized I could do a game

Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• One repetition I have found within the images I have collected is that most
images have a anime style.
• Another repetition I have found within the images I have collected is that
there is more emphasis on dark colour for images with a realistic style
whilst image with a anime style uses more bright colours.
• A third repetition I have found within the images I have collected is that
the fonts used look sharp and angular.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• One way my mood board will influence my final product is that for the
double page spread I will do a anime fantasy game for the double page
spread to cover.
• A second way my mood board will influence my final product is that the
font for the magazine title will be sharp and agular.
• A third way my mood board will influence my final piece is that the front
cover will relate to the double page spread like the box art for the game or
a concept piece.

7. Schedule

1 Research, Initial Response,
Audience Research
 spit ball simple ideas and decide which
idea works best and then begin
expanding on that.
 Doing audience research to see what
part of your idea will work and which
won’t and modifying the plans to fit
with what audience member expect in
their magazines.
2 Production Experiments,
Proposal, Planning
 experiment with ideas for front cover
and double page spread and
incorporate the experiment idea that
works best.
 Write up a proposal for the magazine.
 Write up a plan of action for production
weeks one and two
3 Production  Begin work on the front cover for the
magazine.
4 Production  begin work on the double page spread
of the magazine.
5 Evaluation  evaluate every aspect of the project
from research and analiysis up to the
product itself.
