What sort of a media product is it?
Language / Territories:
This advert will be in English and released in English speaking countries such as America,
Australia, New Zealand, The UK, and any other English speaking countries I may have
missed. It would not be suitable worldwide as people may not be able to understand the
content of our radio advertisement, if they are not from an English speaking country. It is
not unsuitable for any cultures or beliefs, as we were very careful to not offend anyone or
their beliefs, religion, culture or anything.
What countries would you release it in? Would it be suitable worldwide or is it targeted at a specific
population? Is it unsuitable for any cultures or beliefs?
Synopsis / Treatment / Story / How the game plays:
Our radio production is about iron man, it is futuristic and fun and it will make people who
listen to it want to have a coke. We are straight to the point with the message in our advert
as it is said straight away. The main message is that it’s ‘Stark Approved’ and if he drinks it
and its good enough for him then it is good enough for anyone.
What is your product about? Discuss how it works to communicate a message to the audience?

One Line SalesPitch: Always Time For A Drink.
Sum up your product in one sentence
Style (similar products and graphical style):
Marvel inspired this iron man related advert because we wanted to aim our advert at young
people and the way we could do that at the minute is using a popular film for our age as they
will see the character and want to buy what they are endorsing/advertising as a character.
We like the futuristic sounds that iron man makes as well as it sounded different and unique
compared to other adverts from coca cola.
What product is yours similar to? Why have you used it for inspiration?
Discuss this in relation to conventions and art style
Audience:
Our audience is 16-19 year olds. We want to appeal to anyone who likes Iron man, who is in
this age range no matter what gender; we want to reach anyone we possibly can. The social
status of these people would probably be middle to working class familiesas they are the
people you find watching marvel films or any films at all.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your product appeal to this person?
2. Legal & Ethical Considerations:
We will not include any material that can be considered offensive in any way as we didn’t
want to upset or offend anyone, all material is appropriate for all ages if they want to listen
to it, as it is not unsuitable for younger people to listen to. We ensured it won’t offend
anyone as we made it just to say the message we wanted to get across which was that coca
cola is stark approved, and that is it. We did not have anything referring to gender, race,
religion, or ethnicities. We are using iron man as a character in our advert and he already
exists. We changed the colours of iron man and tried to make it different enough for it to not
be sued for copywright.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger audiences engaging with it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Is your product using characters/names/logos of existing ones?
Will your product be sufficiently different from existing ones to not get sued for copyright
infringement and how have you achieved this?
