Existing Product
This is a wide angle of, the game showing
the majority of the background coming
from a more of a side angle.
The lighting of the game is set to be light
as it is set to be played in daylight on a
football pitch. The colours of the game
are also set to be quite light as shown by
the way how, the pitch is a light green and
the stands, which are made so by the high
lighting which makes pretty much
everything be seen as lighter colours, as
demonstrated by the football pitch.
This would appeal to its audience because it is
seen as a child ready and friendly game to play
which in some sense is done by the way that
the lighting is high and makes everything look
more brighter and in some sense looks more
pleasant to play.
Existing Product
This game has much darker lighting
which makes it seem more darker
and more serious compared to the
previous one, this gives it more of a
serious feeling towards it, as if it is a
game that is designed to be played
by adults.
But from looking in more detail at
the game you can see how it is
meant to be designed to be for a
child's game, which can be shown by
the characters appearance in the
gameplay footage screenshot shown.
From the style of the game you can see from it
how the details show of how it is meant to be
played by a child, as suggested by the way how
the players are presented and of how the way
that the ball is being shown slowly hit into the
net , as a kind of slow motion approach
suggests that this could be the style of game
for younger children
Existing Product
The lighting of this game I would
say is the lightest out of all of
them with much more brighter
high key lighting. This game is of a
much more similar style with the
first one with it being based upon
much more of an animation type.
It is shown to be more of a retro
style from the way that the
camera is set up from a higher
angel, which can be seen as a
disappointment because you
aren’t that close to the players
perspective.
Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched
products have? From my research they have the common feature that they
are all based on being a football style animation game with the target audience of
being aimed to play by the kind of younger age audience.
• The first and last existing product feature the idea of using much more high key lighting
compared to how it is in the second existing product idea.
• What aspects of the research will you include
within your on work? From my research one of the ideas that I will be
carrying across into my own work is the idea of the more high key lighting and brighter
colours, which make it give the kind of feeling that it is an actual kind of football pitch
with the massive flood lights brightening the pitch. I like the idea from the 3rd idea
which features more of a higher angel with so that you can see the majority of
everything, but up from more of a higher angel.

This would appeal to its audience because it is seen as a child ready and friendly game to play which in some sense is done by the way that the lighting is high and makes everything look more brighter and in some sense looks more pleasant to play.

Existing Product This game has much darker lighting which makes it seem more darker and more serious compared to the previous one, this gives it more of a serious feeling towards it, as if it is a game that is designed to be played by adults. But from looking in more detail at the game you can see how it is meant to be designed to be for a child's game, which can be shown by the characters appearance in the gameplay footage screenshot shown. From the style of the game you can see from it how the details show of how it is meant to be played by a child, as suggested by the way how the players are presented and of how the way that the ball is being shown slowly hit into the net , as a kind of slow motion approach suggests that this could be the style of game for younger children
  • 4. Existing Product The lighting of this game I would say is the lightest out of all of them with much more brighter high key lighting. This game is of a much more similar style with the first one with it being based upon much more of an animation type. It is shown to be more of a retro style from the way that the camera is set up from a higher angel, which can be seen as a disappointment because you aren’t that close to the players perspective.

From my research they have the common feature that they are all based on being a football style animation game with the target audience of being aimed to play by the kind of younger age audience. • The first and last existing product feature the idea of using much more high key lighting compared to how it is in the second existing product idea. • What aspects of the research will you include within your on work? From my research one of the ideas that I will be carrying across into my own work is the idea of the more high key lighting and brighter colours, which make it give the kind of feeling that it is an actual kind of football pitch with the massive flood lights brightening the pitch. I like the idea from the 3rd idea which features more of a higher angel with so that you can see the majority of everything, but up from more of a higher angel.
