2. Audience
Audience age;- 20-23
Gender;- Could me based towards male and female, but is more likely that females this
age will already know about YWT so would be more appealing to males who aren’t
informed on it.
Description of audience;- People of this age who have just come out of university/house
sharing with friends/uni-mates.
Interest in YWT;- Don’t have much knowledge of YWT or what they are about. This is the
kind of audience range that need to be shown a creation that shows what there about.
Niche audience;- A lot of people who are likely to be house sharing uni-students, once
you’ve grabbed attention of a few of them and made them aware of YWT, the audience
will expand as they will be more than likely to spread the word about and give there
views on it once they’ve heard about it. Potential to turn into a mainstream audience.
People in this audience will most likely be unemployed or working in part-time
work/still in education, so either way they will have some sort of spare time on their
hands(most likely will be looking for a hobby/interest to take up/something to help
improve CV).
. Flyers/business cards/new logo would be likely to grab the attention of this audience
(something through their letter box that they can’t just change the channel and ignore.
3. Audience
Audience age;-30-40
Gender;- More based towards females, as if they have children living at home then it
would be more relevant to females as there children tend to be center of their lives.
Occupation;- Full time employment. Young children living at home.
Description of audience;- Full time single mothers with young children living at home,
trying to balance work and home life with children.
Mainstream audience;- This is the type of audience that there will be a large variety of all
over the country.(once one family have seen it/mother is most likely to send it on to
other mothers and so on the cycle will continue).
Physographics;- Most likely to be living a busy lifestyle with little time to go out and
engage in activities although they most likely will want to.
. With this audience I feel that the best way of which they would see the advertisement
would be via. a recorded T.V advertisement, as I assume with them spending a lot of time
at home then the children would spend a lot of time watching T.V.
4. Audience
Audience age;- 27-29
Gender;- This one can be aimed at both male and females as in this one there is
nothing about only one of the genders being able to go on walks, therefore it is based
around both genders.
Occupation of audience;- Young people who are making a success of there life in the
career path(could be going onto bigger/better things)
Description of audience;- Married couple of which whom are both in full time jobs
with good career paths.
Home location;- Halifax(main city/city)
Physographics;- Probably likely to be the kind to be living a busy lifestyle, mostly
focused more around work /career lives, leaving little time to go out and engage in
leisure time activities.
Mainstream audience;- This is more likely to be seen as a wider audience and will most
likely to be found all over the country, as I suspect that the majority of people all over
the country enjoy to engage in leisure time activities.
From looking at this audience I feel that the best way to reach out to them and for
them to see advertisements/bill boards/notices about this as they will be more likely
to see such thing when they are about walking/running then on T.V, as they will
probably spend a lot less time watching T.V and more engaging in leisure activities.
