Capitalism And Capitalism
Capitalism, as Speth explains, is an economic system that is geared toward accumulation of profit, its
tendency to change and expand. Root explains that the developed world has necessary tools to guard
themselves against uncertainty and risk. They also can count on social institutions and welfare
programs to manage risks. Engaging business activities, developed world is dealing with risk by
developing products and marketing, for instance. Developing and marketing new products require
capital, and capitalism by nature is geared toward capital accumulation, to make profits. Whereas, as
Root points out, the developing nations don t have enough capital to improve their lives and climb out
of poverty. The idea is that a poor nation not being able to invest, the economy does not grow, so they
remain poor. According to Root, the wealth gap between the rich and poor nations has widened
tremendously. However, it is necessary to also explore other contributing factors for the economy of
the developing nations not being able to grow.
However, Root explains that uncertainty and risk are the factors how developed countries have grown
rich by turning uncertainty into risk. Of course, the presence of institutions are needed to make the risk
management possible. For example, institutions might discourage people to acquire education to learn
new skills to engage business activities to accumulate capital (p. 4).
Further, innovation is needed to develop necessary technology for economic

`` Bohemian Rhapsody `` By Freddie Mercury
Anyone who has ever experienced emotional anguish, that has had the potential to ruin their life, may
find peace by the end of Bohemian Rhapsody. This song was written by an artist who felt a great deal
of pain. He expresses his emotions throughout the song, and at the end realizes that all the pain he was
dealt shouldn t matter to him. Bohemian Rhapsody was written by Freddie Mercury and performed by
a British rock band named Queen in 1975. It is a six minute suite divided into multiple sections
without a refrain. There is an intro, a ballad segment, an operatic passage, a hard rock part, and a
reflective coda. Bohemian Rhapsody consist of many emotional tones and imagery that I can relate to.
The lyrics gave me a sense of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He continues by apologizing to her saying, Didn t mean to make you cry./ If I m not back again this
time tomorrow/ Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters (17 19). He is explaining to her that he
killed off the heterosexual man he once was and apologizes to his mother about his sexuality. If he is
still homosexual in later times, he tells his mother to continue on with life as if he was never gay. The
depressing tone and choice of lyrics helped me connect with these stanzas in a more literal sense.
Whenever I listen to or read the lyrics, the imagery I see is me killing a man for the first time in
combat. I see a twenty year old version of me becoming an alcoholic to drown out the pain and
misery. And lastly, I see my mother crying because she feels as if she failed me; when in reality it was
me who was failing. I tried to explain to my mother that PTSD doesn t affect me and that she should
just continue viewing me as I was before the Marine Corps. The operatic passage of this song made
me feel excitement and anxiety due to the singers singing in a frantic tone. I didn t feel those feelings
in the lyrics without the accompany of the music. By focusing specifically on the lyrics and analyzing
them word by word, I was able to feel the excitement and anxiety of my first firefight. Lines 28

Hepatitis C Infection
What is Hepatitis C?
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection causes chronic liver. Over time, infections can lead to liver damage,
liver cancer, and even liver failure.
HCV is a blood borne virus. This means that it spreads to a person through contact with the infected
blood to another person. The most common method is promoting HCV using contaminated needles
and other equipment for use in the field of medicine.
Sharing can come into contact with the blood in private items such as razors or toothbrushes, but HCV

Shays Rebellion and Young American Democracy
After the Revolutionary War, the newly formed United States were finding their governmental system,
the Articles of Confederation, facing its first years of trials. One of these trials, which was a
culmination of many political and economic conflicts of the times, was Shays Rebellion. Shays
Rebellion was an armed rebel uprising that took place in Massachusetts during 1786 and 1787. The
Rebellion was a result of long standing and increasing disaffection with State and Federal
governments by farmers and others affected by tax and debt imbalances resulting from the falling out
with Britain after the Revolutionary War. Revolutionary War veteran Daniel Shays led a group of
rebels in rising up first against Massachusetts courts, and later in marching on the United States

Affliction In Jews
At the end of the summer of 1944, the Jewish High Holidays arrive: Rosh Hashanah, the celebration
of the new year, and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. Despite their imprisonment and affliction,
the Jews of Buna come together to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, praying together and praising God s
name. On the Jewish holiday, Eliezer s religious rebellion gets even worse, and he cannot find a
reason to bless God in the midst of so much suffering. Eliezer mocks the idea that the Jews are God s
chosen people, deciding that they have only been chosen to be killed. He comes to believe that man is
stronger than God, stronger and more forgiving. His denial of faith leaves him alone, or so he believes,
among the 10,000 Jewish celebrants in Buna. Leaving the

Three Religious Paintings
In this project I will compare the setting of three religious paintings. One set involves the interior of
fifteenth century architect, another located in a natural landscape, and one with a heavenly backdrop.
This expository paper will reveal how these different locations affect a viewer s spiritual experience,
and decipher whether or not these environments are generic, symbolic, or specific. The artwork titled
Painting of Ghent Altarpiece in Chapel, located in Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, was created by Jan van
Eyck (Davies et al. 482). The scale and setting of this painting is unmistakably impressive. The
purpose of the altarpiece is to clarify the ceremony performed before it (482). Jan work is big in scale
and thorough with detail and color that glows (482). This environment is a generic place, although it is
a holy place, it is also very common as chapels can be found in virtually every church. The fifteenth
century landscape calendar page Tres Riches Heures du Duc de Berry was created by the Limbourg
Brothers in France (Davies et al. 474). In this panel, the month of July is illustrated, as is the passage
of time in many ways (474). The dome shape at the top of the seasonal training marks the days of the

Dictatorship to Democracy Overnight in Indonesia
Dictatorship to Democracy Overnight
Indonesia is a country in Southeast Asia that was under a military dictatorship for 32 years. The
dictatorship era started after the failure of communist coup d état by Indonesia s Communist Party in
1966. General Suharto, the one who had the biggest role in failing the coup d état, ousted the first
president and established an autocratic anti communist regime known as the New Order, which
attracted political and economic support from Western governments during the Cold War. At the
beginning of this era, he said he would practice a kind of semi direct democracy, while later, even the
news in newspapers was controlled by the government. His era was ended in 1998 by a huge student
revolution and riots ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In contrast to the New Order era government s reaction to separatist movements in Indonesia, the
reformation era government in its early days made a mistake by giving a referendum to East Timor, a
province in central Indonesia that had longed to form its own country since the New Order era. The
referendum was to stay with Indonesia or to stand as an independent country, and the province chose
the latter choice. This influenced other provinces that are not satisfied with the reformation era
government due to the centralized development in certain parts of the country to start separatist
movements.
Even though Indonesia was led by a dictator during 1966 1998, there were still elections during the
period. The election at that time was to elect one of the three political parties to get their members as
new members of House of Representatives. Since there were only three political parties, each time
there was going to be an election, the campaigns never ended up in chaos and the election ended in
peace. After General Suharto was ousted in 1998, there was some kind of a party craze , everyone
intended to make their own political party, without any limitation from the government. Consequently,
in the 1999 election, people had to choose from 48 political parties. It could be imagined how a
country that was still very unstable after a revolution, had an election with tons of

Climate Change And Weather Change
Recently, climate change has been a major topic of discussion. As the world decides what actions
should be taken to help with the changing climate, severe weather has increased over the past few
years. Several factors has created a change in climate but there have been countless effects to Earth
because of climate change and severe weather is one of those effects. In fact, the first decade of this
century (2001 2010) was the hottest decade recorded since reliable records began in the late 1800s
(Union of Concerned Scientist, n.d.). The Earth is not only stronger storms such as Hurricane Ivan,
Super Typhoon Haiyan, Joplin, MO tornado and tornado super outbreaks, but there also have been
severe droughts as well. Climate change is effecting extreme weather because the climate has been
changing over the years causing the waters and Earth to become warmer, which is causing extreme
weather to become stronger and more severe. Extreme weather can include storms and floods,
temperature extremes, droughts and habitat shifting alteration (The Open Standards, n.d.). According
to The Open Standards, storms and floods includes thunderstorms, tropical storms, hurricanes and
cyclones, tornadoes, hailstorms, ice storms and blizzards, dust storms and erosions of the beaches.
Temperature extremes are heat waves, cold spells, oceanic temperature changes and disappearance of
glaciers/sea ice. The Open Standards also states that droughts are severe lack of rain and loss of
surface water

Analysis Of Ann Marie Macdonald s Fall On Your Knees
The extraordinarily horrible stories of multiple families connected together through love, marriage,
and friendship, all slowly unravel in Ann Marie MacDonald s award winning novel, Fall on Your
Knees . The story begins with Materia Mahmoud eloping with James Piper, who both move to a small
Village together in Nova Scotia where they raise a family of girls, all of very different personalities.
Materia always tries to be the best mother she can be, and James is a good man who had an
unfortunate upbringing, which eventually corrupts his morals later on when he has his own family.
Through various events in the story, three basic archetypes become very evident in the main
characters. These three archetypes include the Nurturer, the Outlaw, and the Explorer, which all
become very obvious, quite early in the story. The first archetype seen in this story, the Nurturer, is
revealed in two characters: Materia and her second daughter Mercedes. The Nurturer is responsible,
organized, and loving, and is very good at taking care of others. Materia is not moulded into a nurturer
until she has her second child, Mercedes. Materia has trouble loving her first daughter Kathleen and is
never very successful in doing so. Although she lacks the affectionate aspect of the nurturer at first,
she learns to take care of her family through cooking for them (MacDonald, 60) and keeping
everything and everyone clean and happy, to the best of her abilities. Once Mercedes is born, Materia

Evolution Of The Declining Salmon Populations
Researchers believe that the declining salmon populations are mainly the result of the four H s,
harvesting habits, hydropower, habitat loss, and hatchery fish (Ruckelshaus et al., 2002, pp. 679).
Harvesting habits refers to the impact overfishing has on the salon populations (Ruckelshaus et al.,
2002, pp. 679). Every year, around 385,000 metric tons of Pacific salmon are caught by commercial
fisherman and with weak stock conditions, the natural life cycle of these fish cannot keep up (Knapp,
2007). Hydropower refers to the dams that currently block many rivers in the Pacific Northwest that
prevent salmon from reaching or returning from their native spawning grounds (Gore and Doerr, 2000,
pp. 40 41). This means that salmon cannot breed as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The second is the human management of salmon, including the harvesting and the hatchery fish. Both
these areas may require technical and non technical solutions, as described by Hardin.
Technical solutions, which Hardin claims do not solve tragedy of commons by themselves, currently
exist and are ever improving to mitigate environmental issues surrounding the depletion of
commercial salmon stocks. For example, new methods of allowing salmon to bypass dams are being
developed. Fish ladders and similar structure have been problematic in the past, sometimes killing
more fish than are allowed to pass (Waldman, 2013). Some methods try to more closely mimic a
natural river, while others involve modifications to existing dams to influence the movement of fish
(Schilt, 2007, pp. 307 315). However, the most beneficial course of action would be to remove the
dam entirely (Schilt, 2007, pp. 316 317). This, however, falls into the trap the Hardin describes with
the self defeating appeal to the conscience. Not using the river for hydropower would be foolish since
it is a source of power that is readily available, while continuing to use river only aggravates the
problem. The issues with habitat loss can also be partially solved through technical solutions.
Deforestation of surrounding areas can be reduced through turning to other sources of lumber. Run off
and other sources of contamination can be treated

Plato s Ethics: An Overview
This document explores the meaning of human life, its purpose, what it serves for and also what
factors affect them and how. We analyze Plato s expressions and thoughts about what makes us
humans. From virtues to building a perfect city, Plato tries to explain in different occasions the
morality behind humans. He is focused on understanding the why and how can humans reach their
highest potential with the given resources such as nature and others.
Plato begins explaining the beginning. The search for knowledge, the understanding what are things
and what are their purposes. As argued in the Meno, perplexity is an intermediary stage towards
knowledge. As we know, with knowledge comes everything else. It is explained also that in order to
want to seek knowledge, one must possess virtues, like courage. Courage is the one to push you into
knowing something. These are the things that will drive someone into knowing the basis of
everything. For example a square, in order to do one or understand it one must know what are lines,
points, etc.
Next, begins a discussion on what justice and injustice are, a virtue or not, whether they make us
happy or not. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Bully In Tangerine By Edward Bloor
In 2015, about one out of every four students (22%) reported being bullied during the school year.
Tangerine is a book written by Edward Bloor. The story is about Paul Fisher, the protagonist, who got
blinded by his brother Erik, the antagonist, this all occurred when Paul was in kindergarten and his
brother was in fifth grade. Paul s life is a lie and he finally realizes that his parents have been keeping
this secret from him ever since so that he would not hate his brother, but because of this secret Paul

grievous character because he is selfish, violent, and finally because he is a bully. Erik is selfish

Erik is a bully in multiple ways. One example is when he makes a joke about Joey and says I wonder

The Importance Of Chinese Culture
The country I would like to teach in would be in China, specifically Shenzhen. Chinese culture is vast
and unique and has been changed through many factors throughout history. Mainland China is a
beautiful place right next to to the equally beautiful Hong Kong. Shenzhen itself has been influenced
by western culture just like Hong Kong has, but with its roots in the mainland, it still maintains its
policies and traditions. It s culture can be considered a hybrid of both Mainland and Hong Kong China
due to proximity.
In China, there s the culture you see on the surface and the culture you see below the surface. There
are many real world lifestyle differences that can be perceived and even more that must be
experienced. When moving to China, you will first encounter surface level cultural differences, some
of which being population density and dress expectations. Population in China is vastly different and
much denser than the U.S. or most places in the world for that matter. China has over 160 cities with a
population of over 1 million as stated by the University of Missouri, Kansas City. In China, dressing is
much different as well, clothing styles that would be considered the norm in America can be
considered taboo in China. In the U.S. showing some skin is perfectly acceptable due to the general
agreement body confidence is good. But if you wear something revealing (e.g. a crop top), it comes

Social Issues In Fahrenheit 451
Ray Bradbury wrote the novel Fahrenheit 451, which is a story about a society that believed books

In this manner my strong family values further shows that I display the characteristics of an affiliative

One of my styles that was identified on the LSI survey that works against me is my drive to do my
best at all I do. In a small way I attach self worth to my work and projects. I do not think that I am a
perfectionist as the survey list me, but I do think that the desire to produce flawless products that
whow others is something I need to work on. I have grown less attached to the desire to whow others
over the last 3 years, since I have realized that even a whow given to me now will not be remembered
in 6 months. To be perfect sets a person up for an even larger fall when mistakes are made. The team
that I lead in Afghanistan has learned from experience that I expect them to perform well but
understand and accept when perfect is not obtainable. I had several talks with them while in deployed
and explained that my only wish was for them to come home safely. Delivering a perfect no mistake
mission while in combat was unrealistic and out of the question. As long as safety to my team was

An Ideal Desensitizing Agent As AAgent
Gluma desensitizer : In 1935, Grossman addressed the requirements for an ideal desensitizing agent
as: rapidly acting with long term effects, non irritating to the pulp, painless and easy to apply without
staining the tooth surface. There are many dentin sensitising agents available which includes oxalates
products, calcium phosphate desensitizers; 5% NaF varnish; Glutaraldehyde HEMA; Gluma,HEMA +
other products, NaF; SnF2; light cured adhesives; glass ionomer cements; desensitizing dentifrices;
potassium containing products; strontium chloride. They have been shown to be very effective in
providing relief from dentinal sensitivity in many studies but have never been compared to the
desensitising dentifrices(Gibson et al ,2013). The desensitising agents can be used both in house
professional application or can be used at home .They can be applied in office as a treatment of
dentinal sensitivity if any pathologies observed like gingival recession, cervical abrasion, abfraction. It
has been claimed by the manufactures(Heraeus Kulzer International) that Gluma has been useful in
the remission of DH almost instantaneously and effectively, without the hassle of mixing, curing and
multiple applications. Many studies have been done ,few are listed below ,to establish this fact. It is
successfully used for the treatment of DH and achieves its effects by precipitation of plasma proteins,
which reduces dentinal permeability and occludes the peripheral dentinal tubules. This inhibits

Cultural And Ethical Issues Of Homosexuality
The world today faces many cultural and ethical issues that some believe are only relevant in today s
day and age. The Bible bluntly states that homosexuality is a sin. However, would it still be
considered homosexuality if there were a gender change surgery before going through with the
immoral act? There are many scripture verses in the Old Testament that evidence the demoralization
of a sex change both then and there and here and now. The bible goes into depth explaining that God
painstakingly made man and woman deliberately as they are. So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis) Gender identity
confusion is not a sexual problem but an emotional one. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;
but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) A person s gender is predestined
along with all other facets of their life. (Henry) God would not create a person with the genitalia of a
female and the heart and consciousness of a male. (Bohlin) For God is not a God of confusion but of
peace. As in all the churches of the saints, (1 Corinthians 14:33) Gender identity comprehension
occurs early on in childhood development. It begins at birth and messages of assertion and
authentication of one s personhood can be distorted from many factors such as parents and family,
society and even media. If a child is not ensured of his/her sexual distinctiveness from the beginning

Plasmid Transformation Of E. Coli
Plasmid transformation of E. coli using pVIB
Savannah Jacobs

BIO 335 Spring 2016
Dr. Koester Abstract Since bacteria are haploid, asexually reproducing organisms it is important for
these organisms to be able to accept genetic variability into their genome. A process called
transformation, which involves absorbing small segments of DNA from deceased organisms in the
natural world, does this. Transformation can also be mimicked in the laboratory using plasmid.
Plasmids are small segments of DNA that occur in bacteria that allow us to regulate if transformation
was successful. We attempted transformation of E. coli cells using plasmid called pVIB, which allows
for luminescence and resistance to the antibiotic ampicillin, from Vibrio fischeri, however, we did not
achieve a successful transformation.
Introduction
Some organisms, such as bacteria, have the ability to transform into a new form by picking up small
segments of DNA from other organisms. This process is known as transformation and happens quite
often in nature. Quite often organisms die and release their DNA into aqueous environments. The
DNA is broken down but it is a while before it is fully destroyed allowing for bacteria cells and other
organisms to transform their own DNA using the broken down segments from the deceased organism
(Dodd). Transformation is an extremely important step in increasing genetic variation in organisms
that reproduce asexually, allowing for them to make both

The Themes Of Marvel Comics And DC Comics
Marvel Comics and DC Comics were both founded in the 1930 s as, naturally, comic book publishers.
Today they form 70% of the comic book market. By 2016, that market as a whole had hit a record
high of $1.085B in both physical and digital comic book sales (Johnston, 2016) (Comichron, 2016).
Some of the highest selling comic series currently in print have strong NCC themes. These include DC
s Batman and Marvel s The Punisher series.
Batman or Bruce Wayne, is a bat themed vigilante that carries out what he considers to be justice
within the corrupt, crime infested Gotham City. (Halevy and Cooper, 2016) (DC Comics, 2017). Bruce
Wayne is the billionaire owner of Wayne Enterprises and inherited his wealth and desire to fight crime
after witnessing his parents being mugged and then murdered. DC describes him as both a leader and
a hero. (DC Comics, 2017). In the typical Batman comic however, Batman is being hunted by the
police, mostly due to his violent solutions to crime. [He] distrusts the police and willingly breaks the
law in order to enforce his own values of what he considers justice. An interesting example occurs in
the very first Batman comic: Batman No.1 1940, in which Batman executes a mental patient by
hanging him from his Batplane. Using a toxic serum, an evil scientist had mutated the mental patient
into a very strong, enraged monster, locked him in a truck, and was planning to use him to rob a bank.
Batman kills the truck driver with the Batplane s mounted machine gun, then makes a noose with his
Batrope, lowers it down, and hangs the monster while he s attempting to crawl out of the truck
wreckage. The monster s corpse is casually dragged along behind the Batplane, and Batman remarks,
He s probably better off this way. (Cracked, 2012). Interestingly enough, Batman had created and used
an antidote to this serum just a few pages earlier, but did not attempt, or even think to use the antidote
on the monster. Despite this, Batman is considered a superhero and is often compared to Superman,
who by stark contrast, is willing to fight alongside the law, and has faith in the American criminal
justice system. (Halevy and Cooper, 2016)
Somewhat similar to Batman is the Punisher. Also known as

Pill Bug Research Paper
Armadillidium vulgare are commonly known as pill bug. Pill bugs belong to the kingdom Animalia
and are classified as Malacostraca. Belonging to the order of Isopoda, they belong to the
Armadillidiidae family, and classified into the genus Armadillidium. A. vulgare are found in soil with
a preference to moist environment (Holland 2014). This species see with ommatidia, smell using
esthetascs, and touch with tactile setae to sense their environment (Holland 2014). Migita and
Moriyama (2004) declare that in unknown environments, animal behaves inappropriately by
expressing their innate or learned behavioral patterns. A. vulgare are often found constantly moving
around the edge of the Petri dish because the environment is unfamiliar and appears as an obstacle
(Migita and Moriyama 2004). One observation of pill bug s movement is when they follow each other.
Males can detect females through distance chemical communication (Beauché and Richard 2013).
Due to aggregation pheromone, the A. vulgare are attracted to each other. Unlike other isopods, A.
vulgare locomotor activity is presence in the morning and the species exhibit positive phototaxis when

End Human Trafficking Intervention Plan Paper
Assessment of the Problem
Human trafficking is the form of modern day slavery and it is a worldwide problem that affects our
local communities. Human trafficking presents itself in two forms: sex trafficking and labor
trafficking. Human trafficking touches people of all ages: children, young adults, and the elderly.
Human trafficking is defined as, the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring or receipt of
persons, by means of threat of use of force or other forms of coercion, or abduction, (Lightfoot, p.1,
2013). According to the San José Police Department there are approximately 600,000 to 800,000
people that are trafficked across international borders each year. Out those 800,000 people it is
estimated that 18,000 to 20,000 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He also states that government agrees that human trafficking is a problem, however, only about 15
million dollars has been invested over the past seven years. Acosta states that the tools needed are
there, but there is a lack of will in the political power, not enough public awareness, and that there are
not enough resources.
On a statewide level in California there are task forces assigned to combat human trafficking. In San
José, California the task force assigned to fight against human trafficking is the San José Police
Department and Community Solutions. There are other agencies such as the YWCA that collaborate
with law enforcement, legal advocates and pro bono attorneys, victim service providers, faith
communities and community activists. The most common human trafficking in the South Bay is
Commercially Sexually Exploited Children, although sex trafficking of women and labor trafficking
still occur.
Community efforts include the Not for Sale campaign that provides awareness and resources for
victims and at risk individuals. There is also currently a conference that is going to be held through
FIGHT (What does this stand for?). The primary purpose of the conference is to motivate the
community and local churches to get involved to fight against human trafficking. The conference will
focus on education, creating positive change, abuse prevention programs for local

Figurative Language In Scarlet Ibis By James Hurst
The short story Scarlet Ibis written by James Hurst is about a boy who narrates the adventures of his
young brother William Armstrong, otherwise known as Doodle, and himself. Doodle is different than
any other brother or you would find in a book, and his physical ability along with appearance in this
story are considered a burden . After spending an abundance of time during class reading and
extracting examples of figurative language in this story, we were given the task to find the theme of
Scarlet Ibis . The theme I have found within this story which is that pride and infallibility don t result
in but often regret and despair. Furthermore I have found multiple quotes from the story that back my
theme up. The first quote I was embarrassed at having a brother of that age who couldn t walk, so I set

figurative language within this quote which is symbolism because it says [about pride] a seed that
bears two vines (Hurst np), additionally this could be foreshadowing Doodle s death later within the
story. The last quote I have acquired front the story is It was too late to turn back, for we had both
wandered too far into a net of expectations and had left no crumbs behind. (Hurst np). This quote
indicates to the reader that the expectations are just the narrator s pride getting in the way of letting his
infallibility go. The quote also has figurative language which is a

Persuasive Essay On Homeschool
Do you hate having to wake up early to get ready and drive to school? Are you sometimes late to your
1st period of the day? Well if that s you, maybe public schools aren t for you. You should try
homeschool online and forget about being late to your first period ever again. Don t be like the
roosters and be smart. I choose homeschool online and the only thing that I regret is not switching
faster. Here are some Pros and cons When you re deciding which is best for you. The most important
factor is the education that you will be receiving. Sometimes is challenging receiving the best
education possible on public schools because of the distractions. If there s no interruptions, then
teacher will have no problem teaching and you will have a pretty dissent education but that s rear.
While in online homeschool there s no interruptions and your teacher will have a one on one
interaction with you to make sure that your are learning your lessons. Also, you wouldn t be doing the
same thing as other students because is based on each individual. Base on ( Homeschool World ,
2010) a website about homeschooling, over 2.4 million students are now learning from home, a 75%
increase since 1999. This shows that every year more people are to switching from public schools to
homeschools. Another thing, did you know that students that decide to do homeschool are doing better
in national test than those in public schools? Maybe is because of the minimum interruptions and more
learning, that homeschool online students are out performing public schools. Another thing that
homeschool students are out performing public school students are communication, daily living,
socialization and maturity. Which helps student on there every day lives. The best part of online home
school is the schedule. The schedule is based on each individual. For example, I work in the mornings
and I get out at 5. I get home and the first thing I do is turned on my laptop and get ready for my next
lesson or to revised one of my lessons. The only tricky part of setting your own schedule is following
it. Everything is possible, so, don t let that stop you. In the other hand if you re in a public school, you
most likely have to follow their schedule. School

Essay on Standard Machines Pricing
I. Who should take the blame for getting Standard Machines Corp into the crisis it faces vis à vis
closing on a major sale with an established account?
The blame for Standard Machine Corp can be directed in one of three ways:
Industry: One could argue that innovation in the machine tool equipment industry has been stagnant
and resulting caused customers to view machines as commodities and compete on price. Another
thought is that the industry allowed a low cost player to enter and therefore put the premium priced
equipment manufactures in a position of having to rationalize their price. Unfortunately, competition
on price erodes industry margins and profits.
Standard Machine Corp Management: The fact that a major account has ... Show more content on

Although we do not believe that it is wise for Standard Machine Corp to lower their prices, essentially
commoditizing their products, it is important for them to manage their customer relationships on an
individual basis. By this we mean that Standard should find ways to justify their price premium. This
may be done by offering packages uniquely customized to retain their long term clients. Specifically,
for long term customers like Occidental, Standard must justify their $22,000 premium over their
competitors within the market.
One way to address this issue would be through rebates. Standard could offer customized rebate
packages to its premium customers, like Occidental. Although they are, in effect, lowering their prices
for Occidental, they are not sending a negative signal to the market. An outright price decrease could
create a price war, where their competitors continue to drive down their own prices, further
commoditizing Standard s line of products. A rebate would offer an incentive for Occidental to
purchase, because the company knows that they will be rewarded on the back end.
Another way for Standard to remedy this pricing situation is to offer additional services along with its
milling machine in order to further differentiate themselves from their competitors. Standard s
package could include an unlimited warrantee for a specified amount of time greater than that of its
competitor, and an increase in on site

The Role Of Carbon Capture And Storage On Climate Change...
The role of carbon capture and storage in climate change mitigation
Why the interest in CCS?
As anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions increase atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations, the
resulting climate system warming poses an increasingly serious environmental challenge. According
to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), it is now very likely that these emissions
are responsible for most of the recent measured global average surface temperature increase, totalling
about 0.65?C or 0.10 0.16?C per decade between 1956 and 2005 (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change (IPCC), 2007). As shown in Figure 1.1, equilibrium global temperatures depend on the
concentration of atmospheric greenhouse gas emissions (ibid). Rising global temperatures increase the
risk of extreme changes in the climate and impacts natural systems supporting water availability,
species habitat, and food production.
A significant global reduction in greenhouse gas emissions is required to limit these risks and impacts
((IPCC), Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, 2007); (National Research Council, 2011). In
particular, there is some consensus that this warming should be limited to 2?C above pre industrial
levels (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), 2007); (National Acadamy of Science,
2011), requiring an 80% 85% decrease in global CO2 emissions by mid century (Intergovernmental
Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), 2007) . If these goals to reduce the risks associated

swimming. And even the bones look more like those of aquatic animals than of other dinosaurs. They
are very dense and that is something you see in animals like penguins or sea cows, and that is
important for buoyancy in the water (Ibrahim 2014). The Spinosaurus has nostrils which are closer to
its eyes than to the end of its muzzle. This trait would ve made it easiser for swimming and hunting

Power In Franklin s Tale
Now the past three tales all show the women characters to be either over powered or with little power.
In the Franklin s Tale the woman is neither over powering nor an emotional abused doormat. In fact
this tale had both the men and women to be equal powers. The tale has four main protagonists, the
wife, the knight/husband, the lovesick squire, and the magician. The whole main plot of the story is
that the squire is trying to take away the wife as an illicit lover. However remaining loyal to her
husband she turns him down and makes a joking promise. Taking the promise seriously he goes to the
magician and gives all of his life s savings so he could be her lover. When he goes to the wife saying
he made the promise real she is distraught and tells her husband everything. He tells her to go fulfil
her promise and she goes to the garden. She pleads to the squire to let her go home and eventually he
does in honor. When the magician goes back to see his debt isn t paid, he spares the squire since he
was honorable to the woman. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Granted they could not be open about this during the public, but the understanding of having a
harmonious relationship is what makes their bond stronger as a couple. Helen Philips states that
Chaucer challenged the medieval expectations by pointing that both men and women want naturally
desire liberty, and it is a man here that states that the husband s right to require obedience should not
be reinforced; and third, by reformulating the martial relationship as one as best regards as one of love
and friendship . (Brown, 2008). Evidence of the love and friendship shared between the lady and the
knight are shown throughout the entire tale. Chaucer makes this clear by having the knight respect his
lady and in return she would voluntarily be loyal to him not matter what. He quotes that in order for
them to be in

certainly no way possible that Alexander the great started his journey to conquer the world without
any plan or the Mughal emperor establish without management at that time the task were performed
by kings and his ministers they act as mangers, slaves can be referred to as worker.
Examples of good management are still being witness in some of the old civilizations, which are

FFA Symbolism
You ve all seen the kids walking down the school halls in the jeans and boots or the students that hang
out with their animals, right? Most of them are involved in FFA (which isn t just for farmers now a
days) and with being in FFA comes the highlight of every member s life: being able to wear the
official dress worn by other members sharing the same passion. FFA. Future Farmers of America.
These four words mean more than cows and plows. It s leadership skills. It s growing as an individual.
It s becoming the person you thought wouldn t come of yourself. When you see the national blue and
corn gold, (the official colors of FFA) you feel a sense of being welcomed. This organization is not
just a group of farm kids that wear jeans and boots ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There s jackets for different positions. For example the jacket that says your chapter or school on it, is
saying that s your home chapter. If throughout your FFA career you realize this is something you love
or have a passion for, you can run for a chapter office. That jacket is the same as any other chapter
member. As of August 2016 Indiana FFA has 11,856 members and 206 chapters. So to make things
easier, the state is divided into chunks if you will. Our state has 12 districts, and within those districts
are chapters. An example would be Bellmont. Bellmont is is district six along with fourteen other
schools. Then the districts are grouped together into sections. Indiana has four sections. You re
probably wondering what that has to do with anything about official dress. Don t worry I ll tell you.
FFA has many opportunities to offer. One of those are becoming a district officer. To relate this back to
official dress, the back your jacket would say Indiana and instead if your chapter, you pull have your
district on the back. Me, for example, had the chance to become an officer. The back of my jacket says
Indiana and below the emblem it says District

The Hot, Sandy Desert
Papio vulcanus can only be found in the scorching range of the Sahara. Compared to its relatives
mostly found scattered all over Africa as well as East Asia, the Papio vulcanus dwells in the extreme
environment due to its specific lifestyle and necessities. The baboon is capable of surviving blazing
temperatures. The Fire baboon is a subfamily in the Cercopithecidae family, closely related to the
Papio hamadryas or Hamadryas baboon species. The hot, sandy desert offers very limited resources
for Fire Baboons to survive on, however that is not a problem due to their extremely efficient
physique. But nonetheless, the climate does provide certain amenities such as cacti that contain
refreshing liquids, diverse animal groups that are fitting for the dietary needs of the Papio vulcanus
such as insects, reptiles and small mammals ( Live Science Web, 2012). Although the majority of its
relatives live in tropical climates all around East Asia, the Papio vulcanus is the only species of its
kind to be able to live and thrive within such a harsh environment of intense heat hence its name. The
Papio vulcanus is at the top of the food chain in regards to the animals existing in the desert. The
baboon is capable of surviving the intense heat during the day as well as give off heat to warm itself
and its surrounding area during the freezing temperatures of the night. The Papio vulcanus hunts
mostly during the night due to its ability to sense heat signatures given off by

  • 3. Capitalism And Capitalism Capitalism, as Speth explains, is an economic system that is geared toward accumulation of profit, its tendency to change and expand. Root explains that the developed world has necessary tools to guard themselves against uncertainty and risk. They also can count on social institutions and welfare programs to manage risks. Engaging business activities, developed world is dealing with risk by developing products and marketing, for instance. Developing and marketing new products require capital, and capitalism by nature is geared toward capital accumulation, to make profits. Whereas, as Root points out, the developing nations don t have enough capital to improve their lives and climb out of poverty. The idea is that a poor nation not being able to invest, the economy does not grow, so they remain poor. According to Root, the wealth gap between the rich and poor nations has widened tremendously. However, it is necessary to also explore other contributing factors for the economy of the developing nations not being able to grow. However, Root explains that uncertainty and risk are the factors how developed countries have grown rich by turning uncertainty into risk. Of course, the presence of institutions are needed to make the risk management possible. For example, institutions might discourage people to acquire education to learn new skills to engage business activities to accumulate capital (p. 4). This song was written by an artist who felt a great deal of pain. He expresses his emotions throughout the song, and at the end realizes that all the pain he was dealt shouldn t matter to him. Bohemian Rhapsody was written by Freddie Mercury and performed by a British rock band named Queen in 1975. It is a six minute suite divided into multiple sections without a refrain. He is explaining to her that he killed off the heterosexual man he once was and apologizes to his mother about his sexuality. If he is still homosexual in later times, he tells his mother to continue on with life as if he was never gay. The depressing tone and choice of lyrics helped me connect with these stanzas in a more literal sense. Whenever I listen to or read the lyrics, the imagery I see is me killing a man for the first time in combat. I see a twenty year old version of me becoming an alcoholic to drown out the pain and misery. And lastly, I see my mother crying because she feels as if she failed me; when in reality it was me who was failing. I tried to explain to my mother that PTSD doesn t affect me and that she should just continue viewing me as I was before the Marine Corps. The operatic passage of this song made me feel excitement and anxiety due to the singers singing in a frantic tone. I didn t feel those feelings in the lyrics without the accompany of the music. • 8. Three Religious Paintings In this project I will compare the setting of three religious paintings. One set involves the interior of fifteenth century architect, another located in a natural landscape, and one with a heavenly backdrop. This expository paper will reveal how these different locations affect a viewer s spiritual experience, and decipher whether or not these environments are generic, symbolic, or specific. The artwork titled Painting of Ghent Altarpiece in Chapel, located in Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, was created by Jan van Eyck (Davies et al. 482). The scale and setting of this painting is unmistakably impressive. The purpose of the altarpiece is to clarify the ceremony performed before it (482). Jan work is big in scale and thorough with detail and color that glows (482). This environment is a generic place, although it is a holy place, it is also very common as chapels can be found in virtually every church. The fifteenth century landscape calendar page Tres Riches Heures du Duc de Berry was created by the Limbourg Brothers in France (Davies et al. 474). The dictatorship era started after the failure of communist coup d état by Indonesia s Communist Party in 1966. General Suharto, the one who had the biggest role in failing the coup d état, ousted the first president and established an autocratic anti communist regime known as the New Order, which attracted political and economic support from Western governments during the Cold War. At the beginning of this era, he said he would practice a kind of semi direct democracy, while later, even the news in newspapers was controlled by the government. In contrast to the New Order era government s reaction to separatist movements in Indonesia, the reformation era government in its early days made a mistake by giving a referendum to East Timor, a province in central Indonesia that had longed to form its own country since the New Order era. The referendum was to stay with Indonesia or to stand as an independent country, and the province chose the latter choice. This influenced other provinces that are not satisfied with the reformation era government due to the centralized development in certain parts of the country to start separatist movements. Even though Indonesia was led by a dictator during 1966 1998, there were still elections during the period. The election at that time was to elect one of the three political parties to get their members as new members of House of Representatives. Since there were only three political parties, each time there was going to be an election, the campaigns never ended up in chaos and the election ended in peace. After General Suharto was ousted in 1998, there was some kind of a party craze , everyone intended to make their own political party, without any limitation from the government. Consequently, in the 1999 election, people had to choose from 48 political parties. • 10. Climate Change And Weather Change Recently, climate change has been a major topic of discussion. As the world decides what actions should be taken to help with the changing climate, severe weather has increased over the past few years. Several factors has created a change in climate but there have been countless effects to Earth because of climate change and severe weather is one of those effects. In fact, the first decade of this century (2001 2010) was the hottest decade recorded since reliable records began in the late 1800s (Union of Concerned Scientist, n.d.). The Earth is not only stronger storms such as Hurricane Ivan, Super Typhoon Haiyan, Joplin, MO tornado and tornado super outbreaks, but there also have been severe droughts as well. Climate change is effecting extreme weather because the climate has been changing over the years causing the waters and Earth to become warmer, which is causing extreme weather to become stronger and more severe. Extreme weather can include storms and floods, temperature extremes, droughts and habitat shifting alteration (The Open Standards, n.d.). According to The Open Standards, storms and floods includes thunderstorms, tropical storms, hurricanes and cyclones, tornadoes, hailstorms, ice storms and blizzards, dust storms and erosions of the beaches. • 12. Analysis Of Ann Marie Macdonald s Fall On Your Knees The extraordinarily horrible stories of multiple families connected together through love, marriage, and friendship, all slowly unravel in Ann Marie MacDonald s award winning novel, Fall on Your Knees . The story begins with Materia Mahmoud eloping with James Piper, who both move to a small Village together in Nova Scotia where they raise a family of girls, all of very different personalities. Materia always tries to be the best mother she can be, and James is a good man who had an unfortunate upbringing, which eventually corrupts his morals later on when he has his own family. Through various events in the story, three basic archetypes become very evident in the main characters. These three archetypes include the Nurturer, the Outlaw, and the Explorer, which all become very obvious, quite early in the story. The first archetype seen in this story, the Nurturer, is revealed in two characters: Materia and her second daughter Mercedes. The Nurturer is responsible, organized, and loving, and is very good at taking care of others. Materia is not moulded into a nurturer until she has her second child, Mercedes. Materia has trouble loving her first daughter Kathleen and is never very successful in doing so. • 13. Evolution Of The Declining Salmon Populations Researchers believe that the declining salmon populations are mainly the result of the four H s, harvesting habits, hydropower, habitat loss, and hatchery fish (Ruckelshaus et al., 2002, pp. 679). Harvesting habits refers to the impact overfishing has on the salon populations (Ruckelshaus et al., 2002, pp. 679). Every year, around 385,000 metric tons of Pacific salmon are caught by commercial fisherman and with weak stock conditions, the natural life cycle of these fish cannot keep up (Knapp, 2007). Hydropower refers to the dams that currently block many rivers in the Pacific Northwest that prevent salmon from reaching or returning from their native spawning grounds (Gore and Doerr, 2000, pp. 40 41). This means that salmon cannot breed as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The second is the human management of salmon, including the harvesting and the hatchery fish. Both these areas may require technical and non technical solutions, as described by Hardin. Technical solutions, which Hardin claims do not solve tragedy of commons by themselves, currently exist and are ever improving to mitigate environmental issues surrounding the depletion of commercial salmon stocks. For example, new methods of allowing salmon to bypass dams are being developed. Fish ladders and similar structure have been problematic in the past, sometimes killing more fish than are allowed to pass (Waldman, 2013). Some methods try to more closely mimic a natural river, while others involve modifications to existing dams to influence the movement of fish (Schilt, 2007, pp. 307 315). However, the most beneficial course of action would be to remove the dam entirely (Schilt, 2007, pp. 316 317). This, however, falls into the trap the Hardin describes with the self defeating appeal to the conscience. Not using the river for hydropower would be foolish since it is a source of power that is readily available, while continuing to use river only aggravates the problem. The issues with habitat loss can also be partially solved through technical solutions. Deforestation of surrounding areas can be reduced through turning to other sources of lumber. Perplexity In The Meno Pérez 1 Ana Pérez Professor Sara Solorzano Philosophy 16 December 2014 Plato s Ethics: An Overview This document explores the meaning of human life, its purpose, what it serves for and also what factors affect them and how. We analyze Plato s expressions and thoughts about what makes us humans. From virtues to building a perfect city, Plato tries to explain in different occasions the morality behind humans. He is focused on understanding the why and how can humans reach their highest potential with the given resources such as nature and others. Plato begins explaining the beginning. The search for knowledge, the understanding what are things and what are their purposes. As argued in the Meno, perplexity is an intermediary stage towards knowledge. As we know, with knowledge comes everything else. It is explained also that in order to want to seek knowledge, one must possess virtues, like courage. Courage is the one to push you into knowing something. These are the things that will drive someone into knowing the basis of everything. The Bible bluntly states that homosexuality is a sin. However, would it still be considered homosexuality if there were a gender change surgery before going through with the immoral act? There are many scripture verses in the Old Testament that evidence the demoralization of a sex change both then and there and here and now. The bible goes into depth explaining that God painstakingly made man and woman deliberately as they are. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis) Gender identity confusion is not a sexual problem but an emotional one. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) A person s gender is predestined along with all other facets of their life. • 25. Plasmid Transformation Of E. Coli Plasmid transformation of E. coli using pVIB Savannah Jacobs April 4th, 2016 BIO 335 Spring 2016 Dr. Koester Abstract Since bacteria are haploid, asexually reproducing organisms it is important for these organisms to be able to accept genetic variability into their genome. A process called transformation, which involves absorbing small segments of DNA from deceased organisms in the natural world, does this. Transformation can also be mimicked in the laboratory using plasmid. Plasmids are small segments of DNA that occur in bacteria that allow us to regulate if transformation was successful. We attempted transformation of E. coli cells using plasmid called pVIB, which allows for luminescence and resistance to the antibiotic ampicillin, from Vibrio fischeri, however, we did not achieve a successful transformation. Introduction Some organisms, such as bacteria, have the ability to transform into a new form by picking up small segments of DNA from other organisms. This process is known as transformation and happens quite often in nature. Quite often organisms die and release their DNA into aqueous environments. The DNA is broken down but it is a while before it is fully destroyed allowing for bacteria cells and other organisms to transform their own DNA using the broken down segments from the deceased organism (Dodd). Transformation is an extremely important step in increasing genetic variation in organisms that reproduce asexually, allowing for them to make both ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 26. The Themes Of Marvel Comics And DC Comics Marvel Comics and DC Comics were both founded in the 1930 s as, naturally, comic book publishers. Today they form 70% of the comic book market. By 2016, that market as a whole had hit a record high of $1.085B in both physical and digital comic book sales (Johnston, 2016) (Comichron, 2016). Some of the highest selling comic series currently in print have strong NCC themes. These include DC s Batman and Marvel s The Punisher series. Batman or Bruce Wayne, is a bat themed vigilante that carries out what he considers to be justice within the corrupt, crime infested Gotham City. (Halevy and Cooper, 2016) (DC Comics, 2017). Bruce Wayne is the billionaire owner of Wayne Enterprises and inherited his wealth and desire to fight crime after witnessing his parents being mugged and then murdered. DC describes him as both a leader and a hero. (DC Comics, 2017). In the typical Batman comic however, Batman is being hunted by the police, mostly due to his violent solutions to crime. [He] distrusts the police and willingly breaks the law in order to enforce his own values of what he considers justice. An interesting example occurs in the very first Batman comic: Batman No.1 1940, in which Batman executes a mental patient by hanging him from his Batplane. Using a toxic serum, an evil scientist had mutated the mental patient into a very strong, enraged monster, locked him in a truck, and was planning to use him to rob a bank. Batman kills the truck driver with the Batplane s mounted machine gun, then makes a noose with his Batrope, lowers it down, and hangs the monster while he s attempting to crawl out of the truck wreckage. The monster s corpse is casually dragged along behind the Batplane, and Batman remarks, He s probably better off this way. (Cracked, 2012). Interestingly enough, Batman had created and used an antidote to this serum just a few pages earlier, but did not attempt, or even think to use the antidote on the monster. Despite this, Batman is considered a superhero and is often compared to Superman, who by stark contrast, is willing to fight alongside the law, and has faith in the American criminal justice system. (Halevy and Cooper, 2016) Somewhat similar to Batman is the Punisher. Also known as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Although we do not believe that it is wise for Standard Machine Corp to lower their prices, essentially commoditizing their products, it is important for them to manage their customer relationships on an individual basis. By this we mean that Standard should find ways to justify their price premium. This may be done by offering packages uniquely customized to retain their long term clients. Specifically, for long term customers like Occidental, Standard must justify their $22,000 premium over their competitors within the market. One way to address this issue would be through rebates. Standard could offer customized rebate packages to its premium customers, like Occidental. Although they are, in effect, lowering their prices for Occidental, they are not sending a negative signal to the market. An outright price decrease could create a price war, where their competitors continue to drive down their own prices, further commoditizing Standard s line of products. A rebate would offer an incentive for Occidental to purchase, because the company knows that they will be rewarded on the back end. • 37. The Role Of Carbon Capture And Storage On Climate Change... The role of carbon capture and storage in climate change mitigation Why the interest in CCS? As anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions increase atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations, the resulting climate system warming poses an increasingly serious environmental challenge. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), it is now very likely that these emissions are responsible for most of the recent measured global average surface temperature increase, totalling about 0.65?C or 0.10 0.16?C per decade between 1956 and 2005 (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), 2007). As shown in Figure 1.1, equilibrium global temperatures depend on the concentration of atmospheric greenhouse gas emissions (ibid). Rising global temperatures increase the risk of extreme changes in the climate and impacts natural systems supporting water availability, species habitat, and food production. A significant global reduction in greenhouse gas emissions is required to limit these risks and impacts ((IPCC), Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, 2007); (National Research Council, 2011). In particular, there is some consensus that this warming should be limited to 2?C above pre industrial levels (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), 2007); (National Acadamy of Science, 2011), requiring an 80% 85% decrease in global CO2 emissions by mid century (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), 2007) . • 39. Spinosaurus Paleontology Paleontology in the New Assignment Analysis of the article: Crocodile Meets Godzilla A Swimming Dino Bigger Than T. Rex The article that I chose for this assignment is about the recent discovery/confirmation of the first known dinosaur which lived and thrived in the water. The Spinosaurus aegyptiacus was found and collected by Dr. Nizar Ibrahim from the University of Chicago. Ibrahim along with his colleague Dr. Paul Sereno determined that based on the fossil discovered that the specimen was a swimming dinosaur. Technically, the bones of Spinosaurs were first discovered 100 years ago by a German paleontologist in Egypt. However, these bones were only a sample of the full skeleton and they were stored in a museum in Munich, Germany which was later bombed by the Allies during World War II; thus ... It has a long alligator like jaw with interlocking front teeth which would have been useful at catching very large fish. Its hips and hind legs were narrow and small. It also had paddle like feet. These traits along with the fact that it had to carry its large weight on land would ve made the Spinosaurus have poor mobility and been a slow walker. It s similar to someone trying to run on land with scuba gear on. These traits are however best suited for swimming. And even the bones look more like those of aquatic animals than of other dinosaurs. They are very dense and that is something you see in animals like penguins or sea cows, and that is important for buoyancy in the water (Ibrahim 2014). The Spinosaurus has nostrils which are closer to its eyes than to the end of its muzzle. This trait would ve made it easiser for swimming and hunting prey while floating near the surface. It also had a dorsal sail. This is similar to a pelysosaurs which used a sail for thermoregulation; however it is believed that the spinosaurus used this sail for attracting ... Helen Philips states that Chaucer challenged the medieval expectations by pointing that both men and women want naturally desire liberty, and it is a man here that states that the husband s right to require obedience should not be reinforced; and third, by reformulating the martial relationship as one as best regards as one of love and friendship . Chaucer makes this clear by having the knight respect his lady and in return she would voluntarily be loyal to him not matter what. He quotes that in order for them to be in ...
