things of the sort

and state the product name this hopefully will be enough to make

not use any disturbing imagery to make sure people won’t get

4. Mind Map
• Strengths of using this method
– It puts your thoughts in a more organized manor
– It can be really efficient if you can come up with the ideas
– It can be easier to interpreted than long winded sentences
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Can be difficult to understand by others
– It takes a lot of space and can have way to much information.
– It can be quite an arduous and long process if you create a large mind
map.
– To understand the information on a mind map you have to be an
active part in it’s creation.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• It was alright but it was difficult to find the ideas in the beginning
and it ended up being boring and takes up a lot of time, however it
is easier to interpreted in some ways.
6. Mood Board
• Strengths of using this method
– Easy to make and fast to go through with others
– It is very inspiring
– You have to be a part of the creation process to understand it well.
– The colours are very dark because it is going to be like a futuristic gang
war sort of thing, which I believe was accurately conveyed.
– I also used the Loki cola font and doom font to show it would be set in
a commercial area which was filled with danger.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Hard to convey what you actually want
– It is not an accurate depiction of how I want the game to eventually
look like.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• Yeah it was entertaining to think what it would have looked like,
however others could have easily been lost in my thought process.
7. Style Sheet
This is going to be used for the
video games because it has an
average game look to it cool
however looks old and has some
mystery behind it and most games
have this kind of font all over
them.
This text will be used for
the house and the town
area because it has a fun
and excitable vibe.
This will be used at the
shop because it makes
sense to have the coca cola
writing seen in a
commercial area
These are the sort of colours you would
usually see in a built up area in a village due
to the bright colours and then there are the
darker areas such as the hidden roads and
paths in between buildings.
8. Style Sheet
• Strengths of using this method
– Giving more of realization of how the text will look
– It also saves time when you go into production
• Weaknesses of using this method
• Could realize the text that doesn't work with
the advert and the pictures
– Also the colours don't work with the pictures
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• Yes helps when it comes up to the production.
10. Layout Plan
• Strengths of using this method
– Gives a much more vivid idea of how it could look
– You can add colour to add vividness
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Could come out differently than expected
– It takes a long time to do
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• No because it takes to long and it also didn't
really help it just gave me different ideas.
12. Brainstorm
• Strengths of using this method
• A bunch of ideas together in one place
– Quick and easy gives plenty of ideas
– It is great for unique and creative ideas as they come from
everyone's point of view.
• Weaknesses of using this method
• Could be a bunch of useless ideas
– Could be random, some ideas were excluded because of this.
– Some of our ideas could not coexist as seen on the brainstorm
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• No because we ended up using way to much time trying to
make ideas match and then only used a small part of the
brainstorm to create the product.
13. Informal Pitch
• Strengths of using this method
• Get an idea of what it would sound like whilst
handing over the idea
It could have had some useful feedback
• Weaknesses of using this method
– It could change the idea
– The idea could have been not developed
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• No I'm not really confident so in pitches I lose
the words easily.
14. Formal Pitch
• Strengths of using this method
– Get a good view of who you are aiming at when it
comes to audience
– Weaknesses of using this method
– You get the wrong age group such as dark souls
rick and morty, and Archer
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• No because it had a bunch of unset variables
that can not be controlled.
15. Initial Reaction
• It was much harder to draw in pixels than I
expected
• I thought it would be easy to draw because
I’ve seen lots of people do stuff like this
• It got easier with experience of drawing in this
method
• Initial disappointment in myself
16. Initial Reaction
• Strengths of using this method
– You get to visually view the characters
– Maybe even the background
• Weaknesses of using this method
– I need to spend more time to get better at drawing
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• Yes because it is nice to actually be able to view
the work and to be able to have a general idea of
what you are going to do.
18. Sketches
• Strengths of using this method
– Gives you a general idea of what you are doing.
– Gives you ideas of how to improve it.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– It’s difficult to draw accurately.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• No because I don’t really like the art style it
involves.
19. Formal Proposal
• Strengths of using this method
– It can give you ideas of who you are pitching the idea
to and it also gives a broader range of information to
you.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– If something goes wrong you could have rethink the
whole idea which would take a long time.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• Yes it was good because it gave us a more realistic
view on what we were supposed to create.
