⢠I also have a friend that is a long time fan of the club which follows the club everywhere having season tickets for
the last 15 years.
4. Interview:
Question 1: How and when did you become a fan of the club?
âI have always been a fan of the club as my dad is a massive fan of the club already so I grew up as a united fanâ
Question 2: What is your opinion on the manager Jose Mourinho?
âI think Mourinho is has a great footballing mind and can manipulate the game and his players very well. He has a lot of
experience at high level clubs and knows how to discipline his staff and players to achieve the results he needsâ
Question 3: If Jose Mourinho was fired, who do you think should replace him and why?
I donât think that Mourinho should be fired due to the results that united are getting at the moment as the manager is
only as good as his players and if his players cant preform I donât think he should be at fault but if he was to be fired, I
hope that Zinedine Zidane should replace him as not only is he one the best players in his time. He also has a very good
record with real Madrid which would be good to boost the clubs confidence in the manager as there has been many
managers trying to fill the role of Fergie since his retirement as manager which is almost impossibleâ
Question 4: What do you think of the rumors with Paul Pogba moving to Barcelona?
âI think that paul pogba Is a great player and would suit playing for Barcelona but he has commitments to united and
was playing from a young age at the club so I think that will have an impact on his decision to move to the clubâ
5. Interview:
Question 5: What are your views on the current captain Antonio Valencia? And do you think Jose made the right
choice?
âI agree with Jose on this decision to make Valencia captain since Carrick retired. Valencia is a great player but is also
mature and has an excellent work rate on and off the pitch. You see all the other players like Lingard and pogba
dancing around all the time, which is fine but doesnât give the right image if they were captain, they need to grow up
and learn more before they have a chance in becoming captainâ
Question 6: who has been your favorite player this season so far and why?
âDea Gea with out a doubt, the man is on fire. We have the best goal keeper in the world playing for us and if youâve
seen some of the games heâs played in you'll definitely agree with meâ
Question 7: who would you say is your favourite ever united player and why?
âoh thatâs a tough one, id probably say Scholes. His ability on the ball was incredible and his shot would bullet in the
net from 30 â 40 yards out, if that doesnât scream world class I donât know what does. Not only was he a great player
his commitment to the club was incredible always the first to train and always the last to leave, the man was a
footballing magicianâ
Question 8: when do you think united will next win the premiere league?
âid like to say this season but united aren't close to winning anything at the moment, which is sad but I think if they put
some effort in on the training ground and stop squabbling with the manager a few years they will be back to their
form. Id also say that united have lost the support of their fans which is never a good thing they need to reconnect
with the fans, playing hard and showing their passion for the game will win the hearts of the fans backâ

All the other written elements of your fanzine are up to you but should be documented here. If you decide to write a
review, a polemic, an article or anything else, it needs to be documented here.
Drafts are good so it is worth writing a first draft then producing a second which not only checks for spelling and grammar
errors but also ensures that your work has a consistent style, quality and structure.
Recording your research, as and when it happens, is also a very strong idea. If you need to look up a fact or read an article,
record that.

John Herbert Dillinger, born on June 22nd 1903, one of Americas most organized gangsters. Mr. Dillinger was famously known for robbing 12 banks and four police stations,
amongst breaking out of prison twice, all in the space of a year!
Mr. Dillinger operated in the depression-era as it was very easy to fall into a life of crime, with over an estimated 1,300 gangs roaming America in the mid 1920âs. Although john
was committing crimes, the public saw him as a robin hood like character. John went by the name of âjackrabbitâ this was because of his graceful moves and quick getaways from
police, but when being remembered as legend, heâs most famously known as âpublic enemy number one.â
When john was only three years old his mother, Mary Ellen passed away, leaving his father to raise him as a child. His father John Wilson Dillinger was a firm man and believed in
the way of âspare the rod, spoil the childâ this means that if you donât physically punish your child when theyâve done wrong they will become spoiled and bad children.
The first crime Mr. Dillinger committed was petty theft on a car when he was 16 years old, trying to impress a girl on a date. He was never convicted for it as he ran and escaped,
joining the navy the next day. He was dishonorably discharged 5 months later and returned home.
2nd DPS
John Dillinger created a legacy for himself by robbing 12 banks, but what the majority of people donât know is that he also robbed four police stations to further him in his bank
robbing career. Mr. Dillinger and his gang (the terror gang) stole bullet proof vests, tear gas, Thompson machine guns, shotguns and pistols, amongst other items of weaponry
which would create the illusion they were invincible to the public.
Not only did john rob four police stations he also walked into a police station unrecognized and collected information the federation had on him. Whilst in the police station he
also asked a group of detectives what the baseball score was as there was a group of agents listening to the game, still managing to escape unnoticed.
Although there are varying amounts of how much john Dillinger actually stole from banks across America, it is estimated that john Dillinger and his gang stole $400,000.
$400,000 in the 1930âs is now equivalent to $5,733,116.28 present day, which is ÂŁ4,409,935.64.
As there was less security and not as efficient technology in the 1930âs it made it easier to get in and out of banks quickly without the police being called. In new modern
technology, there are silent alarms that can be set off which notify the police that their bank is being robbed without the bank robbers knowing closing the time a bank robber
has to get the money out. This is why Mr. Dillinger was so successful in robbing banks as there was a larger period of time to rob the banks and get away

John was first imprisoned for a robbery on a grocery store and received a 10-20-year sentence. This turned Mr. Dillinger bitter and he formed a strong hatred against society after
receiving this harsh sentence and was quoted saying âI will be the meanest bastard you ever saw when I get out of here.â John had exceptional manufacturing skills, which helped him to
make friends inside the prison as he would secretly help the other inmates with their work too. In return his new friends, Harry Pierpont and Homer Van Meter would help to teach him
the ways of being a seasonable bank robber and someday join Dillinger in his life of crime.
On January 25th 1934 john was arrested after committing a robbery in East Chicago on the 15th of January 1934. After the federations captured john, they transferred him to Crown Point,
Indiana. The local police had been boasting about their prison and stated that the prison was escape proof and they had posted extra guards so that escape wasnât an option. On march
3rd Mr. Dillinger managed to escape prison and make his escape in the sheriffs own personal car without being followed. Itâs still in debate what he used to escape prison but there are
reports from his first hostage that he carved gun from shelving in his cell, using a razor and holding it against the backs of officers until he got to the infirmary and managed to get a real
gun. There are also reports of him carving a gun out of a potato and also that it was a real gun smuggled in by friends.

The Dillinger gang was very notorious in the 1930âs. The Dillinger gang were like celebrities in their time, out smarting the FBI, dodging their traps and making a joke out of them.
The men in the gang were, John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, John âRedâ Hamilton, Homer Van Meter, Harry âPeteâ Pierpont, Charles Makley, Russell Clark, Ed Shouse, Harry Copeland,
Tommy Carroll and Eddie Green. All these men were experienced and ruthless criminals, that werenât worried about taking someoneâs life if they crossed them.
The Dillinger gang employed military-inspired tactics taught to them by a man called Herman Lamm, the tactic which were taught to them made them even more untouchable to the
authorities. Lookouts, getaway drivers, lobby men and vault men meant they were well organised and could react to anything the federations threw at them. The Dillinger gang also had
the best of weaponry available to them such as Thompson machine guns, colt 38s and bullet proof vests in case of a shootout, all of which were stolen from police stations.
DPS 5
It is safe to say that John Dillinger made a mockery of the FBI in his time. After avoiding the FBI for almost 2 years and was wanted in 5 different states. The mistake john made was that when he escaped
from the crown point jail, he drove the sheriffâs car across state lines breaching the National Motor Vehicle Theft Act which made it a federal offense to transport a stolen motor vehicle across a state line
involving the FBI which made it harder for john to carry on with his life of crime.
whilst the FBI were in pursuit of john over the course of the investigation, the FBI actually spent more money looking for john than he actually stole! The FBI were so caught up in making a point out of
john they didnât think to calculate the amount of effort and money they were putting in to get him. As the number of gangs that were around in that time, the FBI saw it as the perfect opportunity to
show gangs that they would not be successful anymore by taking down the largest gang around.
Once FBI had stopped john, the number of gangs in America dropped drastically as they knew that FBI were cracking down on organized crime. Raising the sentence times for organized crime meant that
younger adults were more inclined to stay away from gangs knowing that they could spend the rest of their lives in prison if associated with gangs in America.
John courted publicity and the media of his time ran exaggerated accounts of his bravado and colourful personality, styling him as a Hood figure. In response, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover developed a
more sophisticated Bureau as a weapon against organized crime, using Dillinger and his gang as his main target to show others that a life of crime is not be dealt with lightly.

John Dillinger met his end on 22nd July 1934 from a bullet that was shot by a federal agent, Charles Winstead. Johnâs
death was classed as a justified homicide and no charges were put on the agent instead received a letter of
commendation from J. Edgar. Hoover.
John died outside the biograph theatre which was showing the crime drama which Mr. Dillinger attended. the Biograph's
manager thought the agents were criminals setting up a robbery. He called the Chicago police, who dutifully responded
and had to be waved off by the federal agents, who told them that they were on a stakeout for an important target
almost costing them the operation.
John was shot 4 times down an alley way round side of the biograph theatre as he tried to make a getaway from the FBI
when he realised they were following him as they left the theatre. He was betrayed by Ana CumpÄnaČ a madam from a
brothel in Gary, Indiana, where john was hiding out. She was also known as "The Woman in Red" contacted the FBI. She
was a Romanian immigrant threatened with deportation for low moral character and offered agents information on
Dillinger in exchange for their help in preventing her deportation. The FBI agreed to her terms, but she was later
deported nonetheless.
After Johnâs death, nearby bystanders pulled their handkerchiefâs out to soak up the blood of Dillinger to keep as
souvenirs, Dillinger's body was available for public display at the Cook county morgue. An estimated 15,000 people
viewed the corpse over a day and a half. As many as four death masks were also made. Dillinger is buried at Crown Hill
Cemetery in Indianapolis. Dillinger's gravestone has been replaced several times because of vandalism by people
chipping off pieces as souvenirs.
