Classical Conditioning
Classical conditioning is a type of learning where organisms learn to associate stimuli through repeated pairings. Ivan Pavlov studied classical conditioning by pairing a neutral stimulus (a bell) with an unconditioned stimulus of food, which elicited an unconditioned response of salivation in dogs. There are different types of classical conditioning procedures including forward, backward, and simultaneous conditioning.
