This document provides concepts for the front cover and double page spread of a magazine about popular 2019 video games. The front cover concept shows characters from Marvel placed around the page in a not overcrowded manner. The black area is for text and the white edges will have a blurred glow effect. The double page concept uses Tetris blocks in different colors and areas of black for articles about video games. Everything will be hand drawn except the text. Most elements of the concepts will be included in the final product, with improvements like smoothing out and adding more detail to hand drawings, changing character positioning, and adding boxes around text for professionalism.

2. Front Cover Process
This is the initial concept for what the magazine
will look like. Having enough characters to fill
the page but not overcrowd it. All the things in
the concept will be hand drawn instead of the
images. This includes video games that were
popular in 2019. the amount of characters may
change or new ones may be added. The black
part of the concept is where the text will be.
This gives enough space to advertise the
product but not take away from the image.
2019 will be at the bottom and underneath it
will be video games. There will be a special
edition issue 1 part on the magazine to show
that this magazine is only for end of 2019
making it have some value to hold. The white
around the edges will be smoothen out and
blurred to give a glow effect.

3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you include in your
final product?
As the image above is the concept most of it will be added
into the product apart from overall smoothing it out and hand
drawing it. The white bit will be more of a background glow
and the background wont be a solid blue. Characters may
change positing and they may be more or less added
depending on how much space I can make. The cover will be
the main focus as it will consume more time than the double
page spread. The marvel issue is just a placeholder and will be
changed to create my own. The tetris blocks wont be so bland
and have more texture to them. The entire cover will be hand
drawn and use no images

4. Double Page Process
This is the concept of the
double page spread. This is a
lot simpler because it mostly
contains words. The black
parts of the concept is where
the text about the video
game would go. Tetris blocks
will be different colours this
is just to show where the
tetris blocks will be placed.
Everything on this page will
be hand drawn apart from
the text. The text will be a
normal font as it will be an
article on the game. Overall
there will be more detail but
the concept is just to give the
general idea of whats
happening

5. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you include in your
final product?
As it is a concept most of the double page process will be
used. The idea will stay the same but it will be smoothen out
and made look more professional. It will also be hand drawn
and not stock images. The Tetris blocks will be different
colours and maybe changed around a bit to make it look likes
its not just the edges of the page. The page will have a clear
box around where the text is going to make the final product
look more professional and make it not look like it was made
in word quickly. The images shown will connect to the text
boxes. There will still be blue and red being the most
dominant colour like in the cover art. The colour mainly used
will be blue and red will be the highlight.
