1. Task 5 Esting Review
Overall my review of the E4 Esting I am quite happy with the outcome. Looking over and
visualising there are some minor details that could have been modified and edited to make
the animation come together and look more professional. Although I have experimented on
it trying different ways to make it looks and sound better, the ups of the animation is that
the sound beds of the fireworks are timed perfectly with the explosions right on point. I
personally like the way the E4 logo comes out of the firework and flares up to the screen
and after a few seconds slowly fades away like a final finish to the animation. The down
parts of the edit are that the drawings are quite untidy and the colours don’t combine like
the way I planned out. The parts I found hard when editing the sting is transferring the
scanned hand drawn drawings and tracing it into a graphic computer form, I found this hard
because when tracing it was difficult to keep the lines straight and neat and when putting all
the different shapes together it was a problem trying to put them in the right order. In
conclusion I think the sting is quite entertaining and the idea is very seasonal for when the
year comes up to bonfire night. I also think there could have been a couple of changes when
making it to boost the chances of the sting getting a distinction but I am happy with the
outcome of the animation.
