MASS EXTINCTION ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Causes include asteroid impacts, global anoxia (widespread dissolved oxygen shortages), plate tectonics, sea level changes (glaciation) and climate change. The reasoning behind these causes revolves around black shale deposits in the extinction areas.
