Inverters offer speed or torque control of electric motors.
Maybe you have walked past without noticing them or maybe you know exactly how many you have, either way electric motors play an important role in our everyday lives which most of us are unaware of but, they move and run most things we need for business and pleasure.
All these motors consume electricity so need a corresponding amount of energy to provide the torque or speed needed. If the torque or speed is too high or low, mechanical controls are used to control output. A motor’s speed should match exactly what is required by the process, otherwise the result is inefficiency with a lot of wasted materials and energy.
Not knowing how to control motors can mean a lot of energy gets wasted which isn’t good for any business. A way to control these motors, which not only saves energy, but improves productivity and reduces maintenance costs, is to use an inverter.

The inverter is a static device. It can convert one form of electrical power into other forms of electrical power. But it cannot generate electrical power. Hence the inverter is a converter, not a generator.

This presentation explains in brief about the auto-transformers, their concept, math and applications.
The present-day electrical power system is A.C. i.e. electric power is generated, transmitted and distributed in the form of alternating current. The electric power is produced at the power stations which are located at favourable places, generally quite away from the consumers. It is delivered to the consumers through a large network of transmission and distribution
Estimation of Harmonics in Three-phase and Six-phase (Multi- phase) Load Circ...IAES-IJPEDS
The Harmonics are very harmful within an electrical system and can have serious consequences such as reducing the life of apparatus, stress on cable and equipment etc. This paper cites extensive analytical study of harmonic characteristics of multiphase (six- phase) and three-phase system equipped with two & three level inverters for non-linear loads. Multilevel inverter has elevated voltage capability with voltage limited devices; low harmonic distortion; abridged switching losses. Multiphase technology also pays a promising role in harmonic reduction. Matlab simulation is carried out to compare the advantage of multi-phase over three phase systems equipped with two or three level inverters for non-linear load harmonic reduction. The extensive simulation results are presented based on case studies.
Model the vector nature of light (Linear, Circular, Mueller/Stokes/Jones Matrix, Poincaré sphere ) and optical components that manipulate polarization (e.g., polarizing filters and quarter-wave plates).
The course will cover all the active optical building blocks of optical
communication systems.
A physical description of semiconductor lasers, optical modulators,
photodetectors and receivers is discussed. A basic theory of noise in
optical communication systems is also presented.

How to Split Bills in the Odoo 17 POS ModuleCeline George
Bills have a main role in point of sale procedure. It will help to track sales, handling payments and giving receipts to customers. Bill splitting also has an important role in POS. For example, If some friends come together for dinner and if they want to divide the bill then it is possible by POS bill splitting. This slide will show how to split bills in odoo 17 POS.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

7. Transistors T1 and T2 along with the other R1, R2, R3 R4, C1 and
C2 together form a simple a stable multi vibrator (AMV) circuit. A
multi vibrator circuit basically is composed of two symmetrical
half stages, here its formed by the left and the right hand side
transistor stages which conduct in tandem or in simple words the
left and the right stages conduct alternately in a kind of a perpetual
“motion”, generating a continuous flip flop action.
8. Transistors T2 and T3 are placed at the two output
arms of the AMV circuit. These are high gain; high
current Darlington paired transistors, used as the
output devices for the present configuration.
The frequency from the AMV is fed to the base of T2
and T3 alternately which in turn switch the
transformer secondary winding, dumping the entire
battery power in the transformer winding.
This results in a fast magnetic induction switching
across the transformer windings, resulting the
required the mains voltage at the output of the
transformer.
9. Inverters are used today
for many tasks like powering appliances in a car such
as cell phones, radios and televisions. They also
come in handy for consumers who own camping
vehicles, boats and at construction sites where an
electric grid may not be as accessible to hook into.
Inverters allow the user to provide AC power in
areas where only batteries can be made available,
allowing portability and freeing the user of long power
cords.
