Multistage Implementation of Narrowband LPF by Decimator in Multirate DSP App...iosrjce
Decimator is an important sampling device used for multi-rate signal processing in wireless
communication systems. Multirate systems have traditionally played the important role in compression for
contemporary communication application. In this paper it demonstrated that a multistage implementation of
sampling rate conversion often provides for a more efficient realization, especially when filter specifications are
very tight (e.g., a narrow pass band and narrow transition band) and there are a audio-band of 4kHz bandwidth
and compression by decimator to isolate the frequency component 80Hz.The LPF used by the decimator are
acquire by two different approaches: first is the window method and other is frequency sampling
method,Multistages implementations are used to further reduce the computational load. This approach
drastically reduces the filter order and also reduces computational cost. Here it have reduce the overall
computational complexity at single stage is 50 times and for second stages is near about 9 times reduce by the
decimator factor is 50.
UNDER WATER NOISE REDUCTION USING WAVELET AND SAVITZKY-GOLAYcsandit
A precise, linear indication of the depth of water in a specific part of water body is what always
required. Presently there are a wide variety of ways to produce a signal that tracks the depth of
water. The Ultrasonic signal is most commonly used for the depth estimation. This signal is
affected by various underwater noises which results in inaccurate depth estimation. The
objective of this paper is to provide noise reduction methods for underwater acoustic signal. In
present work, the signal processing is done on the data collected using TC2122 dual frequency
transducer along with the Navisound 415 echo sounder. There are two signal processing
techniques which are used: The first method is denoising algorithm based on Stationary wavelet
transform (SWT)and second method is Savitzky-Golay filter. The results are evaluated based on
the criteria of peak signal to noise ratio and 3D Surfer plots of the dam reservoir whose depth
estimation has to be done.

Interference is the most important issue for present wireless communication. There are various kinds of
channel used in wireless communication. Here I want to show a performance analysis on the basis of two
different channels – AWGN and Multipath Rayleigh fading channel. This is the comparative analysis with
different kinds of modulation techniques. Here I have also measured the Bit Error Rate with respect to
different modulation techniques and compare the rate in different channels. My objective is to compare the
different characteristics of the transmitter and receiver for different types of channels and modulators.

Coplanar waveguide low pass filter based on square complementary split ring r...TELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
In this paper, we present a novel coplanar waveguide low pass filter (LPF)structure based on the use of square complementary split ring resonators (CSRRs) in order to enhance the performances of a low pass filter. Especially, to enlarge the bandwidth of the LPF, the insertion losses and to increase the rejection of the LPF. The CSRRs are optimised and inserted periodically along the center conductor of the CPW line with a CPW ground integrating stubs permitting to enlarge the bandwidth. The simulation results of this filter show a -3 dB cut-off frequency equal to fc = 5.28 GHz. The designed filter has a good rejection in the stop band which below -20 dB and presents a good insertion loss in the bandwidth. The proposed filter has been fabricated and tested which give a good agreement between simulation and measurement results, the whole dimensions of the validated filter are 35.48x21.16 mm2. The originality of this work is the wide rejection band and the miniature dimensions.

FPGA Based Power Efficient Chanalizer For Software Defined RadioIJMER
Multiple communication channel support in RF transmission, such as that in a Software Defined Radio (SDR) warrants the use of channelizers to extract required channels from the received RF frequency band and to perform follow-on baseband processing. This paper describes the process of channelization as it applies to low power and high-efficiency applications in wireless and Satellite Communications (SATCOM) domains. Smaller bandwidths and changing requirements of bandwidth calls for a programmable channel selection mechanism whereby channels and the resulting bandwidth can be selected based on target application, which is the primary principle in the Software Defined Radio based systems.

A mitigation of channel crosstalk effect in dispersion shifted fiber based on...IJECEIAES
In fiber optics the Four Wave Mixing (FWM) has the harmful effect of an optical transmission system that can severely limit Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) and reduce the transmission aptness. This work preset the durability of the different modulation format was tested to FWM by using Dispersion Shifted Fiber (DSF). Moreover, the performance of the proposed system is surveyed by changing the fiber length and applying an information rate of 200 Gb/s. The experimental results show that the FWM capacity has decreased significantly by more than 14 dB when applying Return to Zero (RZ) modulation form. In addition, in terms of the propsed system performance in the first channel and with 700 km distance, it was observed that the lower Bit Error Rate (BER) in the normal RZ modulation is equal to 1.3×10 -13 . As well as it is noticeable when applied the Non Return to Zero (NRZ), the Modified Duobinary Return to Zero (MDRZ) and Gaussian modulation, the system performance will be quickly changed and getting worse, where the BERs increased to 1.3×10 consecutively at same channel and for the same parameters. -4 , 1.3×10 -6 and 1.3×10 -2
Integrated DWDM and MIMO-OFDM System for 4G High Capacity Mobile Communicatio...CSCJournals
Dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) technique is a very promising data transmission technology for utilizing the capacity of the fiber. By DWDM, multiple signals (video, audio, data etc) staggered in wavelength domain can be multiplexed and transmitted down the same fiber. The Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless technology in combination with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) is an attractive air-interface solution for next-generation wireless local area networks (WLANs) and fourth-generation mobile cellular wireless systems. This article provides an overview of the integrated DWDM MIMO-OFDM technology and focuses on DWDM transmitter design with adequate dispersion compensation for high data rate of 10Gbps ,MIMO-OFDM system design, space-time coded signaling, receiver design and performance analysis in terms of bit error rate for Integrated system. The simulation is carried out using powerful software tools Optisystem and MATLAB . In this paper a 64 channel DWDM system is simulated for transmission of baseband NRZ signal over fiber. Each of the transmission is at bit rate of 10 Gbps leading to high data rate transmission of 640 Gbps. The resultant Bit Error Rate(BER) is in the range 10-12 for DWDM system which is given as input to MIMO-OFDM system..This system performance is analyzed in terms of BER with SNR for Rayleigh, and AWGN channels and BER of 10-4 is achieved at SNR of 10dbs
Reduction of Frequency offset Using Joint Clock for OFDM Based Cellular Syste...IJRST Journal
This project addresses the problem of clock synchronization between a base station (BS) and a mobile station (MS). A conventional technique for clock synchronization is that the MS clock is derived from the downlink signal originated from a base station. In cellular systems, a base station and mobile stations need to be synchronized before data exchange. Since the base station clock reference is more accurate, a mobile station typically derives its clock reference from the base station. But the carrier frequency offset due to Doppler shift may have harmful effects on the local clock derivation. This project proposes a joint clock and frequency synchronization technique between a base station and a mobile station, which is effective even with Doppler shift. We derive the joint estimation algorithm by analyzing the phase and the amplitude distortion caused by the sampling frequency offset and the carrier frequency offset. Simulation results showing the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm will also be presented.
Study of Polarization Mode Dispersion in the Optical Digital Connection to Hi...ijcnac
Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD) is a factor which limits the bit rate of the optical transmissions. The PMD is such an effect which is time broadening due to the dependence of the group velocity to the signal polarization. The deformation effects of the impulses become considerable from 40 Gb/s. This paper, we reviews the degrade PMD effect in the telecommunications optical connections to high bit rate, due to the evolution of quality factor (Q) according to the fiber length, bit rate and PMD coefficient , well as the impact PMD on the degree of polarization and electrical power, we discuss also the representation of the polarization state and PMD vector on the Poincare sphere.
Model the vector nature of light (Linear, Circular, Mueller/Stokes/Jones Matrix, Poincaré sphere ) and optical components that manipulate polarization (e.g., polarizing filters and quarter-wave plates).
