My cooperating teacher is expecting me to:

My Expectations
I expect that my cooperating teacher will do the following:
1. check my lesson plans constructively,
2. kind and understanding to my lapses and shortcomings, and
3. teach me how to overcome challenges in the real scenario of teaching.

I need to fully understand that I have to establish better relationship with my
cooperating teacher.
Likewise, I also have expectations that I need to convey to my resource teacher in
order for my needs to be understood and met.
4. My Activities
In the observation phase, I need to focus on the following:
1. I fully realized that I need to read more on the developmental stages of Adolescence
(The High School Learners) because students tend to do what they wanted to do. They
seem so hyperactive to the extent that they sometimes bully their classmates and tease
those who seem different from them. Thus, reading more about this developmental stage,
will widen my knowledge about the things that these kinds of students would likely to do.
From doing so, I can manage to understand them and somehow give appropriate response
to different situations.

5. My Analysis
On my first encounter with my cooperating teacher, I realized that my teacher
was willing to help me in accomplishing the tasks given to me. Back then, I thought she
didn’t care for me, yet I was wrong. As well, I realized that I need to develop my sense of
urgency because she don’t want me to cram and fail to comply the 7 teachings assigned
to us. There were three of us assigned in the same grade level and section so, we really
need not to waste time. As much as possible, every session, different topic. That’s why I
need to develop the sense of urgency.
On my first dealing with the learners I observed that they lack respect to me as
a teacher since they know me as a student. We even did not have the time to introduce
ourselves. In fact, we sit at the back portion of the room, feeling mere observers, and
feeling out of place. As we were at the back, I sensed that the students really lack respect
even to their regular teachers. When the time I had my first teaching, I was not able to
input good impression to them since my resource teacher told me that my voice was a bit
not modulated. But, I commend them because they were very participative in class
discussion. They had the brain, but they lack character.
6. My Reflections
This day, I fully realized that I am really meant for teaching
professionbecause I felt happy and relieved knowing the fact that there were
individuals who learned because of me. It’s heart-warming to hear them
calling me “Sir”. I felt satisfied with the things I did for I was quite sure that
I did the appropriate methods and techniques in teaching, and tools in
assessing whether they learned something or not. I believe that I am meant
for teaching professionbecauseif not, I would not be here. I really am meant
in the field of the noblest profession, teaching.
