OBSERVATION SHEET
The teacher began her lesson through motivating her students. She made sure that
she could arouse the interest of her students. She did motivation in order to arouse,
sustain and made her lessons more enjoyable yet meaningful.
After introducing the lesson, the teacher presented sentences which are aligned
with the topic she ought to discuss that time. She made sure that those sentences could be
utilized for the succeeding discussion. She did that so that learners would not be hanging
and to decrease much time without doing thing at all and to continue the discussion. She
ended her lesson by giving assignment which follows up the learned things by the
students in order to polish necessary things.
I noticed an assessment of learning in the process of teaching through giving
follow up questions every after a sort of discussion and giving evaluation as a form of a
quiz. I also observed checking of learning at the end of her lesson through engaging her
students in an activity wherein her learners could apply lesson learned.

My Analysis
In my own perception, a lesson should begin with a motivation where students’
minds will be conditioned that may lead to their preparedness to absorb the lesson.
However, a lesson should end with an assignment that could increase their knowledge
about the discussion. It could also end in assessing and evaluating the students’ level
learned.
As far as I have observed, no part of the lesson development have been out of
place because all of the questions are essential and necessary for the development of the
lesson. I believe that there is no formulated statement of lesson development that is
irrelevant for the betterment of the concern.

My Reflections
“Tell them what you want to tell them; tell them what you told them.”
The statement generally explains the whole part of the lesson plan order. “Tell
them what you want to tell them” represents the preliminary activities of a lesson plan
and the motivation part. Motivation, in the sense that motivation is where the interest of
the learners may be aroused that leads to the connection of the main topic of the day.
“Tell them” represents the presentation and the deeper discussion of a certain topic. “Tell
them what you told them” represents the application part as well as the evaluation and the
assignment seldom. On this part of the lesson plan, the students are to retain or to recall
what the teacher told them in the previous topic. The students are encouraged to share
things in their long term memory so that they can remember lessons observed.
