home on the learner’s development. The questions in the your analysis portion of this
     learning episode can help you.

     Recommendations
          Write your recommendations.
Physical Development
The physical development of the child normal as to his age.
Since during pregnancy of the mother only fever and no serious health
problem encountered the child now is also healthy, no ailments or any
serious health problems.
Social Development
He socially develops, because he love to go out with his friends,
he is also sweet child so he is very close to his family, to his sister and
brother.
Emotional-Moral Development
He is emotionally okay, the environment that his parent has
given to him help him to become a good child. He also has sound behavior.
He knows how to follow rules given by his parents.
Cognitive Development
As to his cognitive development, at the present he is good the
subjects math and English. But when it comes to Filipino subject he finds it
difficult. He is also interested to singing and drawing.
Findings
My findings about my interview with the mother of the child, I can
say that the child was being care by his family to the point that he was
able to build a good physical, social, emotional and cognitive
development.
Conclusions
So therefore I conclude that for a child to build a good physical,
social, emotional and cognitive development it should start from the
parents and will be enhance in school.
Recommendations
To the parents for their child to build a good physical, social,
emotional and cognitive development the discipline should start from
them, and even if their child are already in school there should have a
proper guidance from them and also monitor them from time to time.
My Analysis
Your findings and recommendations in the Learner Development Profile will help you answer the
question here.

   1. From your home visit and interview, what do you think is the style of parenting experienced
by the learner? Explain your answer.

When I conducted an interview to the parents of the learner, I
was able to know that the style of parenting they have on their child
is authoritative type in which this type of parenting the learner is
self-governing but there are still rules present that limit him in his
play, actions, and joining with friends.

   2. Relating your data with what you learned from child development, what family factors do
you think contribute to the development and over-all adjustment of the learner in school.

As what I have learned in Child and Adolescent Development
the factors that I am going to contribute to the development and
over – all adjustment of the learner in school are: first, it contributes
how the learners are nurtured by his parents, their financial setting,
and cultural background of the family unit.

   3. Does the communication between the home-school have an effect on the learner? If yes,
      what are these effects?

“Education begins at home” This quote helped me in finding
andunderstanding the behavior of the learner. What he did in
school reflects how heis nurtured and reared by his parents at home.
One of these effects for instance,if the learner act and possessed
misconduct in the classroom, then what he didespecially when it is a
serious type then surely his parents are expected to visitthe school
and consult for the performance of his child to his adviser or
       teacher.
My Reflections

1. Reflect on your own development as a child. What type of parenting did you
experience? How did it affect you?

When I was still a child until this present, I observed that
the style of parenting I have is authoritarian type of
parenting. Wherein my parents are always in authority and
rules are given. But even if these type of parenting is not
available I could still manage my time because I inherit the
attitude of my grandmother which makes them happy that at
this age of mine, I do not even engage myself in going out with
my peers in the sense that I am afraid of the bad influence
that might bring me to descend and as what my parent says,
“temptations are always there surrounds you so be careful in
doing something.” Her lines blessed me, anyway this affects me
on my studies in the sense that, instead of spending my time
with other, I rather choose to work on my projects and any
   school activities.

2. As a future teacher, how would you establish good home-school collaboration? How
can you work well with the parents? How can you help them? How can they help
   you?

As teacher to be, I could establish good home – school
collaboration by observing the behavior of the learner in my
class. I would be responsible enough on their attitude for
instance; if ever there is a trouble behind that creates a
conflict, problems in my students subsequently I will call the
parents of that learner such that even they will be able to know
how their child performed in my class. Wherein through this,
we can say that there is relationship between home– school
   links.
My Portfolio

1. Make an artistic, colorful and creative visual expression of your insights or feelings
about the influence of the home and school to the learner. Then write a few
statements on the space below about your visual art.

Collaboration between home and school make the learner meet in the challenging world

2. Make a reflection acrostic about the home school link.

Does the communication between the home-school have an effect on the learner? If yes, what are these effects? “Education begins at home” This quote helped me in finding andunderstanding the behavior of the learner.
