LEARNING OBJECTIVES
 To learn about the family members
 To practice the speaking, listening and writing macro-skills. To practice
speaking by repeating the new vocabulary orally all together, to practice
listening through the instructions provided by the teacher to do the
activities and writing the different family members on the activity
presented.
WARM UP
 Presenting flashcards to practice the new vocabulary orally.
FIRST ACTIVITY
Type of interaction: Teacher-students.
Macro-skills: Speaking.
Timing: 10 minutes.
Materials: Flashcards
DEVELOPMENT
 We will show the students different flashcards so as to practice the
vocabulary learnt in the previous class. They will have to say the family
members that we will show in the flashcards.
SECOND ACTIVITY
Type of interaction: Students on their own.
Macro-skills: Writing.
Timing: 10 minutes.
Materials: sheet of papers, scissors, glue and colours.
 We will give the students a piece of paper in which they will have to cut
the different parts of a tree, paste them all together on their folders and
write on the leaves of the tree their family members with their respective
names. Then we will ask the students to colour it.
THIRD ACTIVITY
Type of interaction: Students individually.
Macro-skills: Reading.
Timing: 10 minutes.
Materials: piece of paper and a pencil.
 We will ask the students to recognize and colour the different family
members on the snake.
FOURTH ACTIVITY
Type of interaction: Students individually.
Macro-skills: Reading.
Timing: 10 minutes.
Materials: Book.
 The students will have to complete page number 27 of their books.
 They will have to write the family members, and then read and find the
words on an alphabet soup.
