LESSON PLAN N° 5- PRACTICAL 16
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
● Revise homework.
● Make a revision about “there is- there are” and school objects.
ROUTINES:
“Hello song” and the date on the green board.
WARM UP:
We will start the lesson by singing the “Hello” song and then write the date on the
green board. After that we will start with the activities.
ACTIVITY 1: Extra activity
Type of interaction: Students-trainees.
Macro-skills: Listening.
Timing: 20 minutes.
Materials: A piece of paper.
DEVELOPMENT
 The trainees will invite students to go to the playground and place them into a circle
in order to read them a short story “The Special Backpack” about school objects,
colours and numbers. The trainees who reads the story will use different type of
intonation and body language to represent different situations. She will take a giant
and colourful book where children could not only follow the reading and images but
also appreciate the big school objects that the pedagogical partner will get from the
backpack.
ACTIVITY 2: Extra activity
Type of interaction: Students-trainees.
Macro-skills: Writing and reading.
Timing: 15 minutes.
Materials: A piece of paper.
DEVELOPMENT
 After reading, they have to do a comprehensive activity about the story where they
have to write yes or no depending on what there is/are in the backpack.
ACTIVITY 3: Extra activity
Type of interaction: Students-trainees.
Macro-skills: Speaking.
Timing: 15 minutes.
Materials: A piece of paper.
DEVELOPMENT
 Trainees will present a game which consists of organizing children in groups and
gives them an envelope with two puzzles with its sentences in each. After that, they
have to put all the pieces together in order to form the school objects and the
sentences. The first group who finishes the activity will be the winner.
ACTIVITY 4: Extra activity
Type of interaction: Students-trainees.
Macro-skills: Speaking.
Timing: 15 minutes.
Materials: A piece of paper.
DEVELOPMENT
 In this activity, students have to produce sentences using there is and there are in
order to show what they have in their own special backpacks.
CLOSE UP
 In this activity students have to complete the name of the school objects with the
missing vowels.
