LEARNING OBJECTIVES
 To learn about the family members
 To practice the listening macro-skill by singing a song and reading and writing
macro-skills through some activities from the book.
WARM UP
 At the beginning of the class we will ask the students to show their finished
family finger puppets so as to review the vocabulary.
FIRST ACTIVITY
Type of interaction: Teacher-students.
Macro-skills: Listening.
Timing: 10 minutes.
Materials: finger puppets and CD player.
 The students will have to sing the song that the teachers presented the previous
class and show the puppets when each family member is mentioned in the song.
SECOND ACTIVITY
Type of interaction: Students individually.
Macro-skills: Reading.
Timing: 15 minutes.
Materials: A piece of paper.
 We will give the students a sheet of paper in which they will have to match the word
with their respective image, and then colour the pictures.
THIRD ACTIVITY
Type of interaction: Students individually.
Macro-skills: Reading and writing.
Timing: 15 minutes.
Materials: Book.
 Finally, the students will have to complete page 27 from the book. There they will
have to read and find the words in an alphabet soup and write the family members.
