 Display stack cathode organic & anode layer on top
of another layer forms an circuitry
 The pixels are defined by the deposition of organic
material in continuous discreet ‘dot’ pattern each
pixel is activated directly
 A corresponding voltage is delivered to cathode &
anode stimulating the middle organic layer
 Amoled pixels turn on & off three times faster than
the speed conventional motion picture film

 Amoled also has a contrast ratio that are better
than LCD

 Manufacturers have developed in cell touch panels
,in cell sensor Amoled fabricators include au
optronics
 Samsung has marketed its version as super Amoled
 Researchers at DU Pont used computational fluid
dynamics [CFD] software to optimize coating
processes for Amoled which is competitive in cost &
performance

9. MARKETING TERMS
 SUPER AMOLED
 Super amoled is a term for an amoled display with an
integrated digitizer
 They were mainly used in Samsung galaxy nexus ,s3
etc.

10. SUPER AMOLED ADVANCE
 This term is marketed by Motorola to describe a
brighter display than super amoled series but also
higher resolution
 [qHD or 960*540] for super amoled
 [WVGA] OR 800*480 for super amoled advance
 This display type is used on the Motorola droid
RAZR and HTC ONE S

11. SUPER AMOLED PLUS
 First introduce with the Samsung s2 and Samsung
droid smartphones
 In comparison to amoled & super amoled display
they are more energy efficient & brighter
 HD SUPER AMOLED
 It is branding from Samsung for an HD resolution [
>1280*720 ]
 The first device to use this was galaxy note
