Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

3. Research
• The strengths of my research are that I gained a lot of information about
the products which helped me with ideas and what to do for my products
which reduced time and made it easier when planning and making the
product, the weaknesses of my research is that didn’t gain a variety of
information about the game so this effected my products by making it way
to similar to the other games
4. Planning
• The strengths of my planning is that it helps me with making my game so
I don’t waste any time when doing it. A weakness of my planning it that it
can be time consuming and took up time instead of making the product.
• My planning helped my product to be more organised when making it
and also my planning helped with the structure and design of my game.
5. Time Management
• I think that I managed my time ok but could have been done better, if I
had more time to complete my project I would make my game less simple
and changed the background of my game to something more interesting
instead of just being red.
6. Technical Qualities
In my game it is similar to
the other because I have
used bright colours and the
objects that I have used are
similar
The differences between my work and
the other is that mine is more simple
and has only a colour as a background
which the background for the other
product is more interesting
7. Aesthetic QualitiesThe contrasting of the
colours in this game are
very appealing and
bright
The animation
of the game is
also very
smooth and
there is no lag
If I could change anything
to improve it I would
change the background to
something interesting and
exciting to look at
I like the design of the objects I
used but there are pixilated so
they may be hard to see so to
improve I would need to get better
quality pictures
8. Audience Appeal
In my game I have used the colourful design to appeal to my target audience and I
have also used levels in my game to appeal to my audience because they want to
achieve to the next level. I also made my game very simple so that younger audiences
can play and understand the game as well. I have also made the game free to play so
that people that cant afford to pay can play the game as well.
