Production Process Evaluation
Research
• I think a strength of my research would be that I’ve spent a lot of time
looking at various games for ideas for my own.
• A weakness of my research could be that I spent too much time on it so
that when it actually came to creating my game I didn’t have much time
left.
Planning
• My planning was good as I based it on already released games so that I
had a good knowledge of knowing how to lay things out.
• A weakness of my planning would be that it is hard to plan animation so it
was difficult to do with no previous experience.
Time Management
• Strength of my time management would be that I spent a decent amount
of time on everything and was able to get my product finished in time.
• If I had more time to produce my work I would have made my animation a
lot smoother.
Technical Qualities
The colours in both of these products re completely opposite, in mine the colours
are dark and eerie and in the other game the colours are bright and happy.
Both games have a controllable skater which you need to move around to get to
an objective.
Another similarity would be that both games are meant for casual gaming which
would be useful for work breaks and other times where time is the problem.
Aesthetic Qualities
My game has a simplistic design so the end goal is made clear. The
end game is the triferg which is the only object in the game.
I could’ve made my work more visually appealing however I feel as
though the simplistic design would appeal to people who enjoy
casual gaming. I could’ve made it better by making my character
better quality and also animating it to move more smoothly.
Audience Appeal
I feel as though this product would appeal to people of all
ages and genders. I also feel like this would be more
appealing to people who don’t have as much time on their
hands, casual gamers who would rather do it for fun than
serious competition. Also the triferg would appeal to
skaters who like skating clothing.

  • 3. Research • I think a strength of my research would be that I’ve spent a lot of time looking at various games for ideas for my own. • A weakness of my research could be that I spent too much time on it so that when it actually came to creating my game I didn’t have much time left.
  • 4. Planning • My planning was good as I based it on already released games so that I had a good knowledge of knowing how to lay things out. • A weakness of my planning would be that it is hard to plan animation so it was difficult to do with no previous experience.
  • 5. Time Management • Strength of my time management would be that I spent a decent amount of time on everything and was able to get my product finished in time. • If I had more time to produce my work I would have made my animation a lot smoother.
  • 6. Technical Qualities The colours in both of these products re completely opposite, in mine the colours are dark and eerie and in the other game the colours are bright and happy. Both games have a controllable skater which you need to move around to get to an objective. Another similarity would be that both games are meant for casual gaming which would be useful for work breaks and other times where time is the problem.
  • 7. Aesthetic Qualities My game has a simplistic design so the end goal is made clear. The end game is the triferg which is the only object in the game. I could’ve made my work more visually appealing however I feel as though the simplistic design would appeal to people who enjoy casual gaming. I could’ve made it better by making my character better quality and also animating it to move more smoothly.
  • 8. Audience Appeal I feel as though this product would appeal to people of all ages and genders. I also feel like this would be more appealing to people who don’t have as much time on their hands, casual gamers who would rather do it for fun than serious competition. Also the triferg would appeal to skaters who like skating clothing.
  • 10. Feedback 1 • What did you like about the product? – I liked the simplistic design and the ideas of the artwork used. • What improvements could have been made to the product? – There could have been a clearer objective.
  • 11. Feedback 2 • What did you like about the product? – I liked the music in the background I felt as though it added effect to the game. • What improvements could have been made to the product? – I feel as though more levels could’ve been added.
  • 12. Feedback 3 • What did you like about the product? – I liked the clear end goal of the game, it wasn’t hard to figure out what it was. • What improvements could have been made to the product? – I feel as though the animations could’ve been made smoother.

I agree that the music was fitting and also that the animations could’ve been made smoother. • What do you disagree with from your peer feedback? I disagree with the fact that their should be more levels as I feel as though that would take away how casual it is.
  • 14. Peer Feedback Summary I would definitely make my animations a lot smoother because I think I could’ve done better. I also would make the artwork smoother as I feel I could do better than what I have.
