MOOSSHHIIAACCHH IINN TTHHEE PAARRSSHHAA
וָאָבֹא הַיֹּום אֶל הָעָיִן וָאֹמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲדֹנִי אַבְרָהָם" (בראשית כד, מב)
Avraham sent his servant Eliezer to bring Rivkah to Yitzchok
to marry. Eliezer, after arriving at his destination, began telling
Rivkah's family the whole story. He mentioned how he arrived
that day. Rashi explains that from Eliezer saying "I came
today", we know that he had a Neis of Kfitzas Haderech and
the 17 day journey took him only one day.
Why was this Neis necessary however? Also, why is Eliezer
mentioning it to Rivkah's family?
The Midrash compares that of Rivkah living at her father
Besual's house, to a rose among thorns. A rose, on the one
hand, belongs to the thorns who defend it. On the other hand,
the gardener doesn't care for the thorns at all but tends the
roses very carefully. Automatically though, this special care
effects and nourishes the thorns as well.
When Rivkah became three years old and became capable of
marrying Yitzchok, Avraham immediately felt this spiritually.
He only then immediately called his servant Eliezer and told
him to go bring Rivkah for Yitzchok. For as long as Rivkah, the
rose, was not the suitable age to marry Yitzchok, she belonged
to the thorns and Avraham had no power to remove her.
"
However as soon as she became suitable to leave the thorns
and go marry Yitzchok, the thorns possession over her expired
and Avraham immediately sent for her.
This is why a Neis to make sure that Eliezer would arrive on
that same day was necessary - so as not to loose even an extra
second of Rivkah being among thorns. This is also why Eliezer
told everyone about this Neis: He knew that Lavan and Besuel,
knowing that Rivkah was the rose - thanks to whom their
family of thorns was sustained, would try to postpone Rivkah's
leaving. So Eliezer told them right at the start "I came today".
Know that a Neis occurred because every second matters and
there is no time to loose. She must come immediately.
Maasei Avos - Siman L'bonim. The story's of our fathers are
lessons and directives for us. Just like Rivkah was redeemed
from among her thorns, as soon as she was just ready for
marriage, in one swift moment, so too will the redemption of
the Yidden be hastened, and Hashem will redeem us in one
swift moment, not wasting an extra second.

me to ask the Rebbe that
Moshiach should be
revealed soon and speedily.”
The Rebbe answered that “it
all depends on you and on
everyone to help accelerate
the coming of Moshiach.”

Below we present a maaneh which the Rebbe wrote upon receiving a duch from one of the Chassidim:
נתקבל ות״ח ויה"ר [=ויהי רצון] שיקויים תומ"י
[=תיכף ומיד] ויגש אליו יהודא סמיכת גאולה
(האמיתית) שאמרו היום: את צמח כו׳ ותחזינה כו׳
I have received you duch, which caused
me satisfaction. May it be Hashem’s
will, that we should witness the inner
meaning of vayigash eilov yehudah - the geula ha’amitis, which we have mentioned today in sh’moneh
esrei ‘es tzemach and vesechezsina’ .
DIIDDYOOUUKNNOOWW
Originally, the b’chorim were destined to serve in the Beis Hamikdosh. After the cheit ha'egel, this privilege
was taken away from them and was transferred to shevet Levi (who were not involved with the cheit ha'egel).
When Moshiach comes, this privilege will be returned to them, and they, together with shevet Levi, will
serve in the 3rd Beis Hamikdosh. (Ohr HaChaim Breishis 49:28)

2. דאלאי גלות
The sicha o
of Shabbos Parshas Chayei Sara 5745 is an unusual one being that in it the Rebbe speaks in uncharacteristically
extremely str
strong terms regarding those who instead of “koching” in Moshiach rather laugh and mock those who do.
In the sicha the Reb
Rebbe speaks about how in our generation the darkness of Golus has intensified to a petrifying degree and the
a Yid to add more to make sure Moshiach comes immediately:

In our generation there exists people who have beards, keep Torah and Mitzvos, and they laugh (!) at the belief that Moshiach is coming
very soon.
Which in this can be seen the fulfilment of a clear nevuah of the Rebbe Rashab: In the famous sicha of “Kol HaYotzeh” the Rebbe
Rashab writes that before Bias HaMoshiach there will be two generations of scoffers, a generation of people who will scoff at the existence
of Hashem and a generation of those who will scoff at the belief in Moshiach. Which this is the strangest phenomena that could exist -
frum Yidden who laugh at Moshiach, rachmona litzlan! More than this, they bring reasons of Torah and Yiras Shomayim to defend their
opposition, while the truth is that they are really under the influence of the first generation of “scoffers” who denied the existence of
Hashem, as is known the saying that Esav dressed up in a “kapota” and a gartel!
And worst of all is that they educate the young in this spirit. They drive the youth of Klal Yisroel away from Torah and Mitzvos because
Moshiach is a foundation in Yiddishkeit and one who does not believe in it is, to quote the Rambam, a kofer!
Golus and Yidden are opposites, being that we deserve to be together with Hashem in a revealed way. And when this is not the case, it is
a terrible thing. Therefore we must cry out to Hashem “l’yeshuoscha kivinu kol hayom” - WE WANT MOSHIACH NOW!
בשעת א איד בדורנו זה זעט אז ארום אים קערט זיך
איבער א וועלט, און "מלכיות מתגרות זו בזו" וכו' - דארף
ער וויסן אז דאס טרעפט ניט דערפאר וואס איין גוי האט
מחליט געווען צו זיך שלאגן מיט נאך א גוי, נאר דאס האט
דער אויבערשטער אלץ געמאכט בשבילו - ״אם ראית
מלכיות מתגרות זו בזו צפה לרגליו של מלך המשיח":
היות אז אט אט דארף קומען משיח צדקנו. הנה זה עומד
אחר כתלינו - האט דער אויבערשטער געמאכט אז עס
זאל זיין א מצב פון "מלכיות מתגרות זו בזו" בכדי א איד
וואס וועט זיך דערפון דערוויסן זאל דאס אים מעורר זיין
אז ער זאל מצפה זיין לרגליו של משיח, און במילא זאל
ער "צופוצן די לעצטע קנעפלעך פון זיין מונדיר". און אך-
און-וויי ווי ס׳וועט אויסזען בשעת ששים ריבוא מישראל
וועלן זיין אלע אויסגעשטעלט מיט צוגעפוצטע קנעפלעך
און דער איין און איינציקער איד האט ניט געהאט קיין צייט
צוצופוצן א קנעפל!...
און וואס שנעלער ער וועט צופוצן זיינע קנעפלעך,
וואס שנעלער קומט די גאולה; בשעת ער פוצט צו זיינע
קנעפלעך א רגע פריער, קומט משיח צדקנו אין איין רגע
ארום אנשטאט ווי אין צוויי רגעים!
און וואס מערער עס קומט צו אין דעם חושך הגלות פון
דרא דעקבתא דמשיחא - וואס מער איז די כוונה בזה בכדי
מעורר זיין דעם אידן צו טאן עבודתו אין ברענגען משיח
צדקנו.
ביז אז ס׳איז איצטער צוגעקומען בדור זה, דרא דעקבתא
דמשיחא, א מצב וואו מ׳זעט בגלוי ווי "חרפו עקבות
משיחך":
ס׳איז דא א איד מיט א בארד, א שומר תומ"צ, ער לייגט
תפילין און טראגט ציצית, און ער האט תלמידים וכו',
ואעפ"כ לאכט ער אפ פון דעם אז ס׳איז עקבתא דמשיחא
און אט אט קומט משיח - ער איז פון די וואס "חרפו עקבות
משיחך"!
און דערצו האדעוועט ער אויף תלמידים וואס זאלן
ארומגיין און אויך אפלאכן פון די וואס גלויבן אז משיח
קומט באלד!
און זיי זיינען דאס נאך מסביר מיט טעמים ע״פ יראת
שמים וע"פ תורה, אז אידן דארפ'ן נאך זיין אין גלות ר״ל
און ס׳איז נאך זיכער ניט עקבתא דמשיחא וכו'!
ס׳איז דא אידן שומרי תומ״צ - ואעפ״כ זיינען זיי ״חרפו
עקבות משיחך״: זיי לאכן אפ אז משיח וועט באלד קומען!
וואס דאס איז א בריאה משונה שלא היתה כמוהו - און
מ'וואלט זיך קיינמאל ניט געריכט פאר אכציק יאר צוריק
אז עס קען זיין אזא מציאות - ווייל ממה-נפשך: אדער ער
גלויבט ניט אין דעם אויבערשטן און אין תומ״צ (״חרפו
אויביך ה׳״) - איז פארשטאנדיק אז ער גלויבט ניט האט ער
דאך זיכער געדארפט גלויבן אויך אין דער עיקר באמונה
וועגן ביאת המשיח, אז בשעת מ׳שטייט אין דרא דעקבתא
משיחא (וואס דאס איז בדור זה לויט אלע סימנים אין
גמרא) הייסט עס אז אט אט איז ביאת המשיח, אדער ער
גלויבט יע אין דעם אויבערשטן ותומ״צ, קומט משיח;
ואעפ"כ זעט מען דא די בריאה משונה - אז עס געפינען
זיך אידן שומרי תומ״צ, לייגן תפילין, טראגן ציצית, אבער
זיי זיינען ״חרפו עקבות משיחך״, זיי לאכן אפ פון די גאנצע
מעשה אז אט אט קומט משיח, וואס ״כל מי שאינו מאמין
בו, או מי שאינו מחכה לביאתו, לא בשאר נביאים בלבד
הוא כופר, אלא בתורה ובמשה רבינו״ ווי דער רמב״ם
שרייבט!...
און זיי ווילן איינרעדן און מסביר זיין דאס וואס זיי זיינען
״חרפו עקבות משיחך״ מיט טעמים פון יראת שמים און
קדושה (ווי ער זאגט אין דער שיחה) - אבער באמת קומט
עס אלס א תוצאה פון די השפעה פון דעם דור שלפנ״ז
וואס ״חרפו אויביך ה׳״, נאר בא זיי האט זיך עס אנגעטאן
אין א ״זיידענע זופעצע״, כידוע דער פתגם אז עשו איז
געגאנגען אין א זיידענע זופעצע און א גארטל!
זעט מען אבער פון אלע סימנים אין סוף מס׳ סוטה
און אין מדרשים, אז דער דור איז זיכער דרא דעקבתא
דמשיחא, ובמילא קומט משיח אט אט.
ניט קוקנדיק אויף דעם אז לויט אלע סימנים והבטחות
קומט באלד משיח זאל ער דערפון אפלאכן לאכן ר״ל פון
ביאת משיח צדקנו! און לאכן פון די וואס גלויבן אז משיח
וועט באלד קומען און אויסלייזן אלע אידן פון גלות!
און דעריבער: כל זמן מ׳געפינט זיך נאך אין גלות דארף
מען שרייען צום אויבערשטן: ״לישועתך קוינו כל היום״,
״אלקים אל דמי לך אל תחרש ואל תשקוט א-ל״! ועאכו״כ
אז א איד אליין דארף וועלן און בעטן אז ס׳זאל קומען די
גאולה.
ח״ו צו זאגן אז דער סדר פון א איד איז צו זיין אין גלות
און טאנצן פאר גוים - כאמור לעיל, א איד און גלות זיינען
הפכים! וואס דארף א איד טאן - ער דארף שרייען ״אל
תחרוש ואל תשקוט״, מ׳וויל שוין די גאולה!
