Parshas Emor begins with the issur against kohanim becoming
tamei. A regular kohen is not allowed to become tamei, with the
exception of his close relatives. A Kohen Gadol, however, is never
permitted to become impure. Unlike any other kohen, he is not
exempt from this rule even for his closest family members.
There is a well known midrash which states that Hashem Himself
also does everything He commands the Yidden to do. Referred to in
the gemara Sanhedrin as a kohen, Hashem as well apparently keeps
to the above-mentioned issur to not become tamei. Now Hashem
certainly is not your average kohen, but rather a Kohen Gadol! So
how is it possible that Hashem, as a Kohen Gadol, will redeem
the Yidden who are tamei during the present golus? He would be
intentionally putting Himself in contact with tumah! And though
the Yidden are โclose familyโ of Hashem, (as the Torah refers to us
as sons of Hashem and other similar titles) a Kohen Gadol is not
permitted to become tamei even for immediate relatives!
It order to solve this difficulty, we must first understand what
it means when the midrash calls Hashem a Kohen Gadol. Every
physical object in this world is a reflection of a spiritual concept,
and is actually sourced in that concept. The ruchniyus is obviously
not exactly similar to the way it comes out in gashmiyus. A spiritual
entity stands on a higher level and is automatically more abstract.
Its physical counterpart is therefore called a mashul, through which
we can come to grasp the nimshal. Certain ruchniyusdike inyonim
however, for example the concept of simple infinite oneness, are
impossible to be represented in physicality. When these type of
inyonim become manifest in this world, they will have only certain
essential qualities which truly represent the inyon at its source.
Inevitably, the phyical object will also have other traits that do not
relate to nor represent its spiritual origin whatsoever. These traits
"
exist in this object only as a result of it being a physical entity with
physical limits.
The kohen and Kohen Gadol also represent spiritual inyonim. The
kohen who is allowed to become tamei in only a few particular cases
represents a high level of Hashem's kedusha, but is nevertheless
subject to and affected by tumah. The Kohen Gadol, a person who
is never allowed to become tamei, represents a level of kedusha
so great it has no connection to and is not affected by tumah. It is
completely beyond the bounds of impurity.
This basic idea of a kohen and a Kohen Gadol (the two mentioned
levels of kedusha) teaches us about their source in ruchniyus. Other
details of a kohen and Kohen Gadol, those that result from existing
as a physical being, do not reflect or represent their sources in
ruchniyus.
It can now be made clear how Hashem is able to interact with
the Yidden who are tamei and redeem them, although He Himself
will seemingly become โsoiledโin the process. Hashem, as a Kohen
Gadol, is holding by a level of kedusha which is beyond tumah. He
is not affected by it in the first place.
To take this a step further- at matan Torah Hashem made all
the Yidden kohanim. The Baal Haturim interprets this to mean
kohanim gedolim. This means that to a certain extent every Yid
has within him the Kohen Gadol's level of kedusha. In other words,
a part of him which is not affected by tumah or golus. Chassidus
refers to this intrinsic piece of soul's existence as the yechida
shebenefesh. But this is not to say that the other levels of the soul
will remain in golus, as Hashem will be mitamei Himself, if only
for the sake of these madragos, in order to take us fully out of golus
and into the complete and true Geulah.

As usual the Rebbe edited the Sicha of Parshas Chukas 5751, among the corrections are the following:
ืคืืืขื ืขื ืขื ื ื which translates "we will go to the Holy Land", the Rebbe wrote โืืืืขื ืืื ืืจืฅ ืืงืืืฉโ Instead of

2. ืืืืื ืืืืช
In this Sicha the Rebbe demands of us to ask ourselves the piercing question: Of all my activities in fulfilling my Shlichus, what
have I added specifically to bring Moshiach?
Some people say that they don't mix in to Hashem's business - He will certainly bring Moshiach when He is ready. The Rebbe refutes
ืื ืืืคืจื ืก" this claim, for when it comes to requesting his physical needs from Hashem he does mix in, here he suddenly forgets that Hashem is
double porion (for Shabbos)". - ืืื ืืฉื ื" Feeds and sustains all of creation", he demands that he have all of his necessities including - ืืื
Next the Rebbe mentions a letter he received as a reply to his inquiry "what are you doing to bring Moshiach"? The reply was "I come from
a
lineage and I did not see my father or grandfather making a in ืงืื ืืฉืื'ืข bringing Moshiach". The Rebbe doesn't like this reply: How can you base yourself on your grandfather when you yourself know that if he would see your
bedroom he would say "Feh!", he never had a newspaper in his bedroom like you do . . .
(Here the Rebbe goes into details describing all the "Aveiros" of this fictional figure, hiding the newspaper in his room so that no one
should see it thereby revealing his secret that he isn't actually fully engrossed in Torah study as he claims to be etc.)
Anyway, this is all irrelevant after the sources were publicized, in Rishonim and Achronim, where they state clearly that every Jew must
do everything in his ability to await, demand and achieve the arrival of Moshiach. They didn't write this in vain, Chas Veshalom, they wrote
it so that we should execute and achieve.

In the summer of 5751 the Rebbe
came up with an idea to print
Chassidus in braille, bringing
the wellsprings to a whole new
Chutzah which is the key to
bringing Moshiach.
The first Sefer printed was Sefer

On the 24th of Av 5751 a reporter passed by the Rebbe and asked for a message for the readers of
his newspaper. The Rebbe told him that he needs to write about the imminent coming of Moshiach.
The reporter said that for this he needs to know when he is coming. The Rebbe told him to write
about the preparations that each and every one has to do for him to come.
The reporter continued to ask, but when is he coming? The Rebbe replied, when he will come is his
decision, what we must do now is increase our fulfillment of Torah and Mitzvos to help hasten his
coming.
