Whether due to illness or injury, organ failure is a worldwide problem and its only treatment is organ transplantation or tissue replacement. Although it’s the only solution in these cases, organs demand greatly surpasses the supply. Organs are usually obtained from people who recently have died (up to 24 hours past the cessation of heartbeat) or from people who are clinically brain dead and their body functions are maintained artificially, nevertheless living organ donation is becoming more frequent [1]. The increase of the organ demand has been raising ethical concerns, since this can result in offers or incentives for donation, profit on donated human organs or even exploitation of the disadvantaged. An electronic nose is a device intended to detect odors or flavours.
It is based on “Electronic sensing” or “e-sensing” technology .
E-NOSE consists of certain mechanisms such as an array of electronic sensors for chemical detection and artificial neural network for pattern recognition.
Bioprinting was defined as the use of material transfer processes for patterning and assembling biologically relevant materials- molecules, cells, tissues, and biodegradable biomaterials with a prescribed organization to accomplish one or more biological function. This is a developmental biology- inspired approach to tissue engineering and is based on the assumption that tissues and organs are self- organizing systems, and that cells and especially micro tissues can undergo biological self- assembly and self- organization without any external influence in the form of instructive, supporting and directing rigid templates or solid scaffolds.
Bioprinting or the biomedical application of rapid prototyping, also defined as layer- by- layer additive biomanufacturing, is an emerging transforming biomimetic technology that has potential for surpassing traditional solid scaffold- based tissue engineering. A series of siloxane based side chain liquid crystal polymers have been prepared with asystematic variation in spacer length. Nematic liquid crystal polymers possess large optical nonlinearities owing to their large refractive index anisotropy coupled with the collective molecular reorientation. All the polymer exhibited a smectic phase, for which the Nematic -isotropic transition temperature increased as the spacer length increased. Electro-optic measurements are used to evaluate the threshold voltages for this series of polymers. It is found that with increasing spacer length (n) of polymer the threshold voltage is lowered and that the variation of the threshold voltage arises from changes to the intrinsic curvature elasticity rather than to differences in orientational order. A simple model is used to indicate the origion of the effects observed which appear to arise from the constraints offered by the coupling of the mesogenic units to the polymer backbone.

Study of Microstructural, Electrical and Dielectric Properties of La0.9Pb0.1M...Scientific Review SR
The present work studies the microstructural and electrical properties of La0.9Pb0.1MnO3 and La0.8Y0.1Pb0.1MnO3 ceramics synthesized by solid-state route method. Microstructure and elemental analysis of both samples were carried out by field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) method, respectively. Phase analysis by X-ray diffraction (XRD) indicated formation of single phase distorted structure. The XRD data were further analyzed by Rietveld refinement technique. Raman analysis reveals that Y atom substitutes La site into the LPMO with shifting of phonon modes. The temperature variation of resistivity of undoped and Y-doped La0.9Pb0.1MnO3 samples have been investigated. The electrical resistivity as a function of temperature showed that all samples undergo an metal-insulator (M-I) transition having a peak at transition temperature TMI. Y-doping increases the resistivity and the metal-insulator transition temperature (TMI) shifts to lower temperature. The temperature-dependent resistivity for temperatures less than metal-insulator transition is explained in terms the quadratic temperature dependence and for T > TMI, thermally activated conduction (TAC) is appropriate. Variation of frequency dispersion in permittivity and loss pattern due to La-site substitution in LPMO was observed in the dielectric response curve.

In our conventional electronic devices we use semi conducting materials for logical operation and magnetic materials for storage, but spintronics uses magnetic materials for both purposes. These spintronic devices are more versatile and faster than the present one. One such device is Spin Valve Transistors (SVT).
Spin valve transistor is different from conventional transistor. In this for conduction we use spin polarization of electrons. Only electrons with correct spin polarization can travel successfully through the device. These transistors are used in data storage, signal processing, automation and robotics with less power consumption and results in less heat. This also finds its application in Quantum computing, in which we use Qubits instead of bits.

Based on Reduced Graphene Oxide
Due to the presence of polar groups such as hydroxyl, carboxyl, and epoxy groups, GO is very
hydrophilic in comparison to graphene. For the purpose of device applications, the drawback
when using GO is that it is an insulating material. This can be overcome by the use of a
reduction procedure, which improves its conductivity, yielding reduced graphene oxide
(RGO).

RGO was covered with Staphylococcus aureus protein A (SpA) through carbodiimide coupling.
SpA ensures a proper orientation of the subsequently immobilized antibodies since it has high
specificity to the Fc fragments. In a second step, SpA-RGO was modified with anti-Aβ-antibodies
by incubating the samples in a 50 mM antibody solution.
