Existing Product
This photo was taken on a
rooftop and
the background colours are
very bland and very grey
which makes the girl and her
pink writing on the top stand
out more. When I am taking
pictures for my own shoot I
will try to use this idea of dark
colours that will make the
person and there clothes stand
out more.
This draws the audience in
more as the pop of colour
draws attention to the brand
and this will make them want
to buy it as the brand is clear
and prominent.
Existing Product
In this photo the main focal
point is the girl as the
background is blurred
out to make the girl and
her clothes the main point
and what you are drawn
into to, I chose this photo
as I like the angles as this is
low to the ground and it
creates a whole different
photo
Existing Product
In this photo the man is sat
on some steps which are
very blurred and have no
colour on them so that you
focus on the colours that
the man is wearing. I am
going to use this techinque
as I think steps are really
complimenting
to the clothes and actual
fashion. They used lighting
to create a lighter effect at
the top of this stairs
compared to the bottom.
Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched
products have?
– A common feature is that they all have dull
backgrounds to make the colours pop more.
• What aspects of the research will you include
within your on work?
– I will use some of the techniques about angles and
lighting and making the colours the main focal
point.

Research Evaluation
Research Evaluation
• Give an overview of how you conducted your research.
Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each method
– Product Research
• A strength of using product research is that I really got to thoroughly research
about the different products I wanted to do
• A weakness is that some of the products didn’t exsist or they just weren’t online so
I had to change my idea.
– Questionnaires
• A strength of using questionnaires is that you get to collect lots of different peoples
opinions to expand your ideas
• A weakness of using questionnaires is that I got some uncoperative answers
– Interviews
.a strength of using interviews is that you get the questions answered that you will
actually benefit from and the answers are specific to your data.
A weakness of using interviews is that some of the answers were basic and not very
detailed
Research Evaluation
– What sort of a response did you get?
In my surveys I got very diverse repsonses from my audience as some of the
people I sent it to are not interested and don’t have much knowledge in these
types of products so I didn’t get very good answers, however in my interviews I
got good responses as I asked specific questions to get specific answers which
benefit me as I can really use this data for my actual products.
– How did you distribute your survey? Give an advantage and a disadvantage
– To distribute my survey I sent it on email to lots of people I would not
recommend this method as I didn’t get good reponses as not everyone enjoys
this genre of clothes, fashion and music.

  • 24. Research Evaluation • Give an overview of how you conducted your research. Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each method – Product Research • A strength of using product research is that I really got to thoroughly research about the different products I wanted to do • A weakness is that some of the products didn’t exsist or they just weren’t online so I had to change my idea. – Questionnaires • A strength of using questionnaires is that you get to collect lots of different peoples opinions to expand your ideas • A weakness of using questionnaires is that I got some uncoperative answers – Interviews .a strength of using interviews is that you get the questions answered that you will actually benefit from and the answers are specific to your data. A weakness of using interviews is that some of the answers were basic and not very detailed
  • 25. Research Evaluation – What sort of a response did you get? In my surveys I got very diverse repsonses from my audience as some of the people I sent it to are not interested and don’t have much knowledge in these types of products so I didn’t get very good answers, however in my interviews I got good responses as I asked specific questions to get specific answers which benefit me as I can really use this data for my actual products. – How did you distribute your survey? Give an advantage and a disadvantage – To distribute my survey I sent it on email to lots of people I would not recommend this method as I didn’t get good reponses as not everyone enjoys this genre of clothes, fashion and music.
