The effect that
has been applied
is Bokeh, you can
see this as the
light has been
distorted.
The shot has been
taken on an
overpass of a busy
road that’s along
side with a river.
The shot has been taken
on an angle so you can
see both the buildings
along side the road with
the river to contrast that
in cities there is wildlife
This would appeal
to and younger and
an older audience
because it gives the
younger audience
an idea of cities
that they aren’t just
metropolises, and it
would appeal to
older people
because it shows
there is still a
natural effect in
cities

This was

user. This really
captures a city
through the
focus of the
glasses.
The only prop used
in the photo is the
glasses which
emphasises the
minimalist value of
the photography
style.
The colours are really
captured with the
glasses which makes
the colour pop out to
the viewer.
The picture could also bring up
the amount of tourists
because it could drive them to
see the full image as the
photo teases the skyline.
The image really
emphasizes the building
lights, which can make the
rest of the image seem
abstract.
The photo could intrigue outsiders to photography
which could increase the industry with a flock of new
photographers.
This also follow the rule of
thirds as the glasses align
with each corner of the
center part.

Since the camera
has been placed
so close to the
ground it makes
it seem like the
building is far in
the distance but
in reality its
quite close.
The photo has no
effects placed on it
which makes it
totally original and
captures the beauty
of this back street.
There are a multitude of colours which
cover each building, the colours all
contrast each other which makes it
brighter as the sun light doesn’t hit it.
Again with this
photo it uses
the rule of
thirds with the
rails for the
tram.

The photograph
captures a
apartment building
and a sign in the
highest street area
in LA.
There has been a colouring effect put on
during post-production to make it seem
less realistic and more characteristic so
people could see a new perception on the
tower in LA.
The only lighting
in the photograph
from the sun
which has been
dimmed down in
post-production to
add more of a
silhouette in the
photo.
This would appeal
to an older
generation as they
get to see a
photograph taken
in a style that they
might have grown
up with.
6. Existing Product
This
photograph
really focus’
on the
lighting of
the board,
using the
back drop to
re-focus on
the sign
This photo was
captured by
Mathew Cole
The angle is set to use the
background to make the light
highlighted rather than the area
in the background.
The only prop
is the
illuminated
sign.
It gives of a
sense on
nostalgia to the
viewer, it
reminds you
almost of an
American diner
style.
With this
photo the
rule of thirds
really
harnesses in
the light.
