2. Existing Product
This product is similar to my final
product because a lot of my work
is photos in black and white with
certain objects in colour. Such as,
a photo of an abbey arch with
the grass in colour and the
building in black and white.
4. • This collage is also similar to the photos that
are included in my portfolio. My port folio also
has 90’s fashion in it, however the theme
black and white with certain objects still
stands. A person will be dressed in 90’s
fashion stood in a wood with him in colour
and the wood in black and white.
6. • This product is similar to my final product
because a lot of my work is photos in black
and white with certain objects in colour. Such
as, a photo of an abbey arch with the grass in
colour and the building in black and white.
7. Existing Product
This product is similar to my final
product because a lot of my work is
photos in black and white with certain
objects in colour. Such as, a photo of an
abbey arch with the grass in colour and
the building in black and white.
8. Existing Product
This photo inspired
me because of the
different colours and
tones. I like the
colours tones in this
photo because they
give a warm feeling
with the reds,
yellows, oranges
browns.
The person in the
photo fits in with the
colours and the
background because
of the colours she's
wearing. Her clothes
also fit in with the
theme because they
are warm clothes
with warm colours.
I like the way she is the main focus in this
photo. The background is very busy but it
works well how the trees are blurred out and
its only her and the floating leaves in focus.
This is called rack focus.
9. Existing Product
The colours have a
warm feeling and
gives the impression
you are in a magical
world, or as if you
are in paradise. The
photo has a tranquil
feeling to the
audience.
The photo makes people feel
free, at peace, warming and
overall in an amazing mood.
This photo inspired me
because the golden look made
me feel relaxed and I could
picture myself walking in
between the crisp trees with
the dogs on a bitter day.
10. Existing Product
I like this photo
because I like
how they have
used the rack
focus. The leaves
look very
vibrant, clear
and sharp.
I like this photo a lot because of
all the golden colours. The
colours automatically make me
smile and feel relaxed.
11. Existing Product
I like this photo
because I like the
way the
photographer has
put a frame around
the subject but has
leaves coming out
of the frame.
I also like this
photo because
it still has
some golden
colours but
not as vibrant,
the photo has
a vintage look
to it and is still
a bright photo
to make
people feel
relaxed not
gloomy.

27. Audience Profile
Category Demographic Content to appeal to this audience
Age Range
Based on my survey
the people who took
my survey where
aged 16 and above.
• Based on the results from my survey my audience
like these aspects of photography: photos in colour,
nature photography, straight forward photos,
photos from different places and photos of animals.
These are the aspects I will focus on.
Gender
My product appeals
to both genders as
both genders took
part in my survey.
• My product is not based on any gender as it is a
landscape, nature and portrait based product.
Psychographic
I think my product
will appeal to the
psychographic group
balanced.
• My project will appeal to this group because my
product is not aimed at one type of person, one
specific age group, one social status, one genre of
photography it is a mix. Yes it is based on autumn
but it’s a mix of different things, not just doing
photos of animals or trees, it’s a mix.
Social Status
My product is not
aimed at any social
status, anyone can be
pleased by my
product.
• Based on the results from my survey any social
status have taken my survey. I know this because I
did not ask questions about their social status as
my product can appeal to any social status.
29. Research Evaluation
• Give an overview of how you conducted your research. Discuss the
strengths and weaknesses of each method
– Product Research: the product research was useful because it gave me
feed back to know what my audience are interested in.
– Questionnaires: I found that the questionnaires were more reliable and
accurate because I asked multiple people who all had different views and
comments. The survey helped me know my audience more than the
interviews.
– Interviews: the interviews were also helpful because it allowed me to ask
questions that I had thought of after sending out my survey. This allowed
me to get more feedback, however the interview didn’t give me as much
feedback as the survey.
30. Research Evaluation
– What sort of a response did you get? I got some positive and some negative
responses. For example my two most useful responses were “ rack focus” as it
taught me something new, and “because i like looking through the lense to see a
different version of what I'm looking at” I thought this response was useful because
it told me not only what he likes but in a way also how he feels.
– How did you distribute your survey? Give an advantage and a disadvantage
Advantage: using the online survey is useful because if I was wanting to target a
certain age group I could put it on social media for responses, also I can receive more
responses as I can put it online and any geographical location can fill out my survey.
Disadvantage: using an online survey can also be a bad thing because people could
either not fill it out, or they can give a useless response or a unhelpful response,
