25. Research Evaluation
• Give an overview of how you conducted your research. Discuss the strengths and
weaknesses of each method
– Product Research
– I found kits from the internet which massively helped in inspiring me to make the kit and what
details and patterns I should use
– I also found different website pages that showed the kits and the prices and this helped me in
making my final website page
– Questionnaires
– I made a survey on survey monkey.
– The survey helped me massively in making the kits as I could see what the majority of people liked to
see on football kits for example the majority of people would only pay around £40 for kits rather
than spending a lot more
– Interviews
– I asked two mates the questions
– The two mates who asked gave great answers and helped me in making the final kit. They both said
they don’t like kits with collars and one of them said they don’t like kits with collars as they prefer it
to look more like a football kit and they don’t like kits with collars as then believe it looks more like a
business shirt then a football kit so I will keep this in mind and make sure I don’t make a kit with
collars
26. Research Evaluation
– What sort of a response did you get?
I got 10 responses and for most of the questions the majority agreed with each
other this massively helped me with making the kits and it made it a lot more
simpler. Although I would of also liked to have had a mixed response so I could of
made a lot differences in my final designs
– How did you distribute your survey? Give an advantage and a disadvantage
– I sent it to the class on teams and got 10 answers from them
– An advantage is I got to see what the majority of people liked in kits
– A disadvantage is the majority said the same so I didn’t get to see everyone’s
opinion so people outside of the ten people might like something different
