• The use of the bird represent
innocent and a calming feeling, in
contrast with the cold color t-shirt,
represents peace. The patterns the
wings and the contrast between the
purple and red, sounds like the maker
has a message using those colors and I
think because of this the audience will
find it appealing and want to buy it. The
second t-shirt represents joining hands
and working together, and that’s exactly
the message I want to put on my work,
motivating people with mental health or
going through a hard time and that’s
something that people will buy to
motivate them.
Existing Product
The first image is a very motivative quote I would love
to wear on a day to day bases, this message on the
sweatshirt is more appealing to young adults and
aspirational and an example of how we should be
treating each other. The use of the black and white
colour are powerful, mysterious and fear which
simplifies the mood and feelings of what the creator
is sending. The second image uses the colours that
are bright and vibrant which I love and would love to
add to my piece. I feel like the audience would want
to buy this because the colours used brings joy and
happiness and its something that people would love
to wear.
Existing Product
Again the first image is a black and white colours which is a calm
and cold feelings. I think the audience will want to buy this
because it looks simple and comfortable. Compare to the other
image the creator uses rainbow colours represents love and brings
joy and a smiley face, which really fits the emotions here, its to
relate with the colours and the theme.

Research Evaluation
Research Evaluation
• Give an overview of how you conducted your research. Discuss the
strengths and weaknesses of each method
– Product Research : its easier to research of other peoples work, this will give you
an idea of how your final product will look like and also give you an idea of how I
can use different colours and techniques to make my product more appealing and
interesting. In my perspective I found it hard to find the exact product that will
look like my product but I did found some similar to my ideas.
– Questionnaires : I think that asking questions to the audience gives me an idea of
what they like and what you should change to meet the audience need but also to
find out how to make your product appealing to your audience. Although it was
hard to combine preferences that each audience find appealing to them, s its
challenging.
– Interviews : The interviews are more accurate and specific, and it helps gain more
information's and get to know your audience and what they like as an individual.
Research Evaluation
– What sort of a response did you get?
I learned hat the majority of the audience are male, and it adds to some of the
questions, for example, What is your favourite colour? The majority had black and
blue which are darker colour as their favourite colours and also like a plain t-shirts.
Although 50% agrees that putting aspirational quote on a t-shirt is a good idea.
However, the majority spends £100 or more a month on clothing’s and mostly online.
– How did you distribute your survey? Give an advantage and a disadvantage
– I tried to link similar answers join them together to make sure I include most of the
response to create one piece. One advantage I will say is that majority agrees to
the same answers which makes it easy to analyse the final results. The
disadvantage is having to read response from individuals and making sure to
invlolve everyone’s ideas.
