Transmitting /Receiving voice & data using electromagnetic waves in
open space
The information from sender to receiver is carried over a well defined
channel
Each channel has a fixed frequency bandwidth & capacity as known as
bit rate
Different channels can be used to transmit information in parallel &
independently

6. Why We Need Wireless Communication?
As nowadays we’re using wireless communication there must be some reasons
behind it & the reasons are:
 Freedom from wires
 No bunch of wires running from here & there
 “Auto Magical” instantaneous communication without physical connection
setup e.g.- Bluetooth, Wi-fi, & so on
Global coverage
Communication can reach where wiring is costly such as, rural areas,
buildings, battlefields, outer space etc.
Stay connected, flexibility to connect multiple devices

In wireless communication the communication between the base station & mobile
is defined by the standard CAI(Common Air Interface):
Forward Voice Channel(FVC): Voice transmission from base station to mobile
Reverse Voice Channel(RVC): Voice transmission from mobile to the base station
Forward Control Channel(FCC): Initiating mobile call from base station to mobile
Reverse Control Channel(RCC): Initiating mobile call from mobile to base station

NFC stands for Near Field communication
NFC is a means of sending data over radio waves. In

its faster than bluetooth
