1.Go to start and open Adobe file and then you open
Photoshop.
2. After you open Photoshop in
the top left corner press ‘’File’’
and then ‘’New’’. You need to
do it every time you want to
make a new page that you will
be designing.

chosethe dimensions to how big the page you wantto be and the
resolution.
b) If you wanta A4 page the dimensions are21cmfor the WIDTH and
29.7 for the HEIGHT. If you wantlandscape, reversethe dimensions.
c) For the A3 page the dimensions are 42cmfor the WIDTH and 29.7cm
for the HEIGHT. If you wantto split the page in half click on VIEW then
RULERS, which will allow you to see the dimensions.
d) Always makesureyou have the resolution to 300 pixels/inch, not
300 pixels/cm
e) The Colour Mode should be RGB Color, 8 bit and the Background

4. You can zoomin or zoomout
by click on view and then
zoomin or zoomout or if
you want you can press Ctrl+
for zoomin or Ctrl- to zoom

b) If you wantto delete a layer you press right-click and click on
Delete Layer
c) If you wantto dublicate the layers press right-click duplicate

on the Gradient Tool and select Paint Bucket Tool which is in the
left-hand side.

background you need to go on internet
search what picture you want and the
right-click on the picture and click on Save
image as. Then go to photoshop and go
FILE then PLACE and chose the picture
that you downloaded.

5. 7. a) If you wantto put a image of someone but go on internet and
download the picture you want or if you already download it or
you have it in your files you don’t have to download it.
b)After that, you haveto go to FILES and
then click OPEN. You haveto chooseyour
picture that you want to put it in the
advert.
 If you chosea picture with whith
background or a other colour but
one colour to be you can choose
the MAGIC WAND TOOL. You
press on the background and then press rightclick on the
idem or object that you wantto useit and then press
SELECT INVERSE. Then you click on EDITthen COPYand
then paste in the image that you want.
 If you chosea picture as background a
forestor something like that you need
to use the MAGNETIC LASSO TOOL. You
need to go around the object that you
chose. Don’tworry if it doesn’tselect
the partyou want because you can use
the QUICK MASK tooland this two tools
BRUSH TOOL and ERASER TOOL to
delete or include the parts that you
want. Then you copy it and pastein the background that
you chose.

6. 8. a) Then you have to add a
tile by using the TEXT TOOL.
b) You haveto click the TEXT
TOOL icon and drag your text
box into the desired position
c) Onceyou did that you have
to write your title and you can
use differents types of text style
and different colour.
9) If you want to savethe advertyou have to
go FILEthen SAVEAS and you choos the file
whereyou wantto saveit.
10) You can add filters to the
image or the item that you what.
Firstyou have to select the
object that you want

and then you choseone of the
effects that you want.
