Type 1 diabetes in children is a condition in which your child's pancreas no longer produces the insulin your child needs to survive, and you'll need to replace the missing insulin. Type 1 diabetes in children used to be known as juvenile diabetes.

6. In general, kids with type 1 diabetes needs to :-
 Take insulin as prescribed
 Eat a healthy, balanced diet, paying special
attention to the amount of carbohydrates in
each meal and the diabetes meal plan
 Check blood sugar levels several times a day
 Get regular physical activity
The following treatment plans helps children’s
healthy. There's no cure for diabetes, so kids with
type 1 diabetes will need treatment for the rest of
their lives
