He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

Working Title:
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Deadly Favours
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc. Use the
Audience Classifications PowerPoint on Blackboard to help you develop this section.
Why would your project appeal to this person? Discuss each audience element in relation to
content (why would your product appeal to the age group? Why would your product appeal to the
gender? Etc.)
My product appeals to young adults, this is as it is a thriller which may not appeal to a younger
audience. The colours are desaturated and the concept is focused around the idea of death which
adds to why this project is aimed at a mature audience. It is also aimed at the male working class
as my product provides a sense of escapism through the paranormal idea of ghost hunting. It
could also appeal to those who believe in ghosts/are interested in the idea of them and want to
explore it further or see concepts of them in film and game. The reason why my product is more
aimed at a male audience is due to the more horror/action side of the product.
When looking at psychographics my project appeals to ‘Socially Conscious Type A’ as the themes
within my project will go into depth about life and death, helping overs as well as family
relationships. My project will be focused on things like the ‘ripple effect’ and how your actions
affect lots of people indirectly, if this is beneficial or not.
Using the uses and gratifications theory I believe my project would be consumed for entertainment
purposes. It supplies a sense of escapism as my project concept explores paranormal and fictional
ideas which would be enjoyable as a sense of escapism from the real world.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
Review your progress throughout the year- what skills and knowledge have you acquired?
How has the subjects you have studied this year informed your choice for this project?
What have you studied and how will it have a direct impact upon your project?
Throughout the year I’ve learnt how to edit using Premiere Pro for the Music Video project. This
will have a direct impact upon my project as I can use these skills to help make my gameplay and
cut scenes look more professional or clean. I can use a mix of Photoshop animation and Premiere
Pro in order to put my assets together efficiently and effectively. I can use Premiere Pro to ease
the process of scrolling in the gameplay as I won’t have to do it frame by frame. I could also use
Premiere Pro for effects if needed.
I’ve also learnt how to use photoshop effectively and how to do certain effects and editing using it
through tutorials, this will also impact my project as having a general understanding off the
software will assist me a lot. I also learnt how to do photo manipulation which informed my choice
in this project, in my film poster I can use this to my advantage and combine/edit images in order
to create a scene that wasn’t there beforehand. This would be very useful in the adventure genre
as setting is important.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
What is the concept for your project and what are you going to make?
What research will you need to conduct and how will it help you make your project?
The concept of my project is an adventure thriller film with accompanying game and
advertisements. For my game I’ll develop a menu screen, cutscene and an example of a level. As
for the advertisements I’ll create a magazine cover for the game and a film poster for the film. My
research will be focused on other pixel art games, game-based magazine covers and adventure
film posters. Looking into these areas will help me develop a project that follows convention and
looks professional. Using pre-existing works as a guide will certainly help me reach this goal. I can

look for similarities and techniques to replicate into my own project.
For pixel art games I could research and look into games like Terraria and Undertale. These
games utilise pixel art. Looking into things such as mechanics, sound effects and visuals can act
as a base for my own project/what to take inspiration from.
Production Techniques (approx. 150 words)
What specialist techniques do you need to consider? (e.g. green screen, Steadicam, post-
production, sound, etc)
Does this require any specialist equipment/training/demos?
I plan on using a green screen when taking photos for photo manipulation when editing. This will
require a green screen, which I have. I’ll also need a good lighting which I can get in a well-lit area
of my home. I will also need to record sounds for the video game adaptation, I’ve seen examples
of how professionals do foley work and can adapt this into my own techniques when recording. For
example: footsteps can be recorded by stomping in place on the ground of different surfaces.
When someone is doing this, I can hold a microphone near to the source of the sound to make
sure I get the sound. (mostly without any noise in the background)
I’ll also need to learn certain techniques using photoshop so I can edit well during production and
get the desired effect. I have already done some experimentation with photoshop in preparation for
this project so if I need to know how to do certain techniques during production, I can use tutorials
online.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
How do you plan to evaluate the work? Reference conducting on-going evaluation and your final
self-reflection, analysing your work and its outcomes.
I plan to evaluate my work as I go, I’ll keep a production log and reflect on each day of production.
I’ll take screenshots of my work then I’ll explain what went well, and what went wrong. From this I
can effectively plan my next day of production and what I need to do next. I’ll also have a final self-
reflection where I look at my project as a whole and evaluate it. My work will be split into segments
and from there I will critically analyse each part of my work. I’ll mention the positives and the
negatives so if I were to do it again, I’d know how to improve.
