This proposal outlines a video game project called "Escape the Fantasy" aimed at children ages 5-9. The game follows a prince rescuing a princess from a villain by collecting diamonds from her necklace to save her. The student plans to create animations, a demo level, cut scenes, and advertisements for the game using software like Photoshop and Pixel Art. Research will include examining similar films and advertisements. Production techniques may include using a green screen and recording sound effects. Evaluation will focus on how well the advertisements and game appeal to and are understandable for the target audience.

Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Proposal adv project 2020
1. Proposal

xWorking Title:
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Escape the Fantasy is my favourite name idea so far this is because it links in well with
my whole game by the use o9f ‘escape’ gives of hints towards my audience that it
could be about someone escaping a villain. The noun ‘fantasy’ is a meaning of
imagining something impossible, therefore my audience will get the idea this has
something to do with an adventure theme or a story which is a fairy tale.
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc. Use the
Audience Classifications PowerPoint on Blackboard to help you develop this section.
Why would your project appeal to this person? Discuss each audience element in relation to
content (why would your product appeal to the age group? Why would your product appeal to the
gender? Etc.)
My project will appeal towardsa younger audience age 5-9 both male and female this is
mainly because my storyline revolves around princesses and is a fairy tale story which
target mainly towards children. Children also respond to stories which include magical and
realism which makes my younger audience get excited and more adventuress. As to why I
chose both genders is because my story includes both magical and power, action scenes
which both genders enjoy and specifically with an adventure theme I believe both genders
can like these.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
Review your progress throughout the year- what skills and knowledge have you acquired?
How has the subjects you have studied this year informed your choice for this project?
What have you studied and how will it have a direct impact upon your project?
Throughout this year I have gained a lot of different skills and knowledge w ithin media a
main gain is definitely the production side (photoshop) and other apps such as pixel art
this includes both work in college and work from home. Tools which I improved with are the
layer and frame/timeline mostly used for the video game these can allow you to create
animations with pixelsand also layers can help you to cover certain objects which you
don’t want to include in a certain frame. This has been a direct impact within my game for
my project and will help me put together a demo level etc. Another skill I picked up on is the
saturations and levels with photoshop this would also have a direct impact to my magazine
cover because I can change the hue or saturations to my background images that I will take
myself. These tools can make a huge difference to a photo and really bring out the true
colours.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
What is the concept for your project and what are you going to make?
What research will you need to conduct and how will it help you make your project/
The concept of my project is focused on a diamond necklace story which is fantasy based.
This is a platform game and is a storyline of the prince saving the princess who has been
captured by the villain in a castle. This is then focused towards the diamond necklace
because the prince has to collect so many diamonds to protect the princess. The point of
the necklace is what she received for her birthday and holds power which the villain wants
so he can take over the world. However, the game isn’t so simple other enemieswill be
trying to stop the prince in which he only has 3 lives in the game.
The main research I will need to help me make together my project would be existing
products and I want to look into similar films and see how they advertise in more than just
one way. This will help me with ideas, and I will then be able to create my 3 different ideas. I
also want to learn how to form together the different parts of my game because I haven’t
created these before mainly the cute scene and the animation using photoshop or other
software to learn the steps to making sure I achieve the best outcome.

Production Techniques (approx. 150 words)
What specialist techniques do you need to consider? (e.g. green screen, Steadicam, post-
production, sound, etc)
Does this require any specialist equipment/training/demos?
The special technique’s I will need isa few different sound effects to fit into my game this
can be simple, and I can use my phone to record and then transfer onto my laptop. I could
consider a green screen for my magazine front cover because I am looking to take two
pictures a forest background and then add an image on top of this a green could help me
out a lot when it comes to editing the work especially if I use photoshop.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
How do you plan to evaluate the work? Reference conducting on-going evaluation and your final
self-reflection, analysing your work and its outcomes.
I plan to evaluate my work by looking into the advertising such as the magazine cover and
make sure the layout is how it would be for an actual magazine with titles etc this also
should be at a high standard and look professional to match my storyline. Within my game I
will be focusing on if this appealsto my audience in every way and the age group this also
needs to be understandable and actually relate towards my story itself, so my audience
don’t get confused. They are the main areasI want to focus on when evaluating my work
because these are things I could not look into as much. Other things come after this such
as if the audio matches the theme to my game and if the idea of my game makes sense.
