STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES
 Learn target language in a real
context way with significative
activities.
 In most of the activities the students
can learn or be helped from their
own classmates.
 Promote new methodologies
(cooperative work, ICT, rubrics...).
 Improve the language skills.
 The teacher has much more work to
prepare the programmation.
 If the students don’t understand the
language, they can't be acquired the
contents of the subject.
 When the vocabulary is technical, is
possible the student don't learn it in
first language.
 Lack of time to work all the topics of
the subject’s curriculum.
OPPORTUNITIES THREATS
 Increase the use of ICT in the
classroom.
 Foster the thinking skills and the
cognitive processes by creating their
own learning.
 Prepare the students for the future
by interacting in a foreign language
that can offer them more
professional opportunities.
 If a student is not good in language
subjects, CLIL can harm the study of
the other subject.
 Lack of resources, time for
preparation and coordination,
recognition and
too many students per class.
 Lack of prepared material of some
subjects (for example in art area).
