SWOT ANALYSIS about CLIL

STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES
 The student will put into
practice a natural way of
learning a language
 The student improves his
level of English as well as
the specific vocabulary
 CLIL is flexible and adapts to
the different learning styles
 The preparation of the
didactic units is greater
 Students who do not have a
previous level of English
may have problems when
following classes
 Specific vocabulary can be
difficult to understand in
English
OPPORTUNITIES THREATS
 The student will boost ICT
tools
 The student can improve
language learning and
teaching to successfully
promote student language
skills.
 To exchange pedagogical
methodologies among the
educational community
 The level of English in
Catalonia is low
 CLIL may involve more
hours of work to prepare
the didactic units
 It’s difficult to apply CLIL in
classrooms with 30 students

SWOT ANALYSIS about CLIL Pablo Moliner STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES  The student will put into practice a natural way of learning a language  The student improves his level of English as well as the specific vocabulary  CLIL is flexible and adapts to the different learning styles  The preparation of the didactic units is greater  Students who do not have a previous level of English may have problems when following classes  Specific vocabulary can be difficult to understand in English OPPORTUNITIES THREATS  The student will boost ICT tools  The student can improve language learning and teaching to successfully promote student language skills.  To exchange pedagogical methodologies among the educational community  The level of English in Catalonia is low  CLIL may involve more hours of work to prepare the didactic units  It’s difficult to apply CLIL in classrooms with 30 students
