TASK 1
CREATE A TASK USING A WEB TOOL.
One of the most wonderful websites about how to use web tools into education is
ARTEFACTOS DIGITALES. It was created by Conecta 13. In this website you could easily check
what different tools you have to create a task with your students.
For example, imagine you want to record you students telling a story. This is called a podcast,
so there you have the different links you have to different webites to create for free, also you
have some good practises you have as an example and sometimes a videotutorial to help you
to work with the tool.
In this task we want you to create a mini task for your unit plan using one webtool. The
following chart would be helpful for you to do it.
TITLE OF THE TASK: Let’s introduce your project
AIM OF THE TASK:
The aim of the task is that the students introduce the process of creation and agreement of
the final logotype. They must do this presentation in English.
DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK: (What are they going to do? How are you going to organize
them? Steps to follow and final product)
During the task of create a logotype, the students works by groups of four members, after this
they have to introduce the result to the rest of the class.
They must explain to the class what was the commission (the company, the product, the
profile of future consumers, the price...), what drawn all the members in initial step working in
individual way, how they mixed all the sketches to create the final logotype and how they did
the digital image of this.
They must film this presentation but is not essential they have to appear in this video. They will
film images of the process: the paper with the commission, all the sketches and the digital
logotype.
Usually the students that chooses art in 4th
grade chooses ICT too. So we will work with the
teacher of ICT together. The ICT students works with a video edition program called Openshot
and an audio edition program called Audacity, these ones is already installed in their laptops.
We will complement these programs with an essential resource to film digital art: screenshots
videos.

Tutorial about the web tool.
1. The first you must do is go to the web page. Click “start recording” and the page will change.
2. Click to the rectangular with “download recorder”. There will appear a window to save the
file.
3. Execute the file and accept all the indications. Now the program is installed.
4. In this case the program already is opened and you can start, but in the next time you want
to use it, you must to go to the web page again and click “start recording” another time. In this
case you will be able to record directly.
5. When the program is in execution you will see a square in your screen and the toolbar in the
inferior-left side.
6. You must to search the screen you want to film.
7. You can change the preferences with the toolbar:
Record only the screen.
Record using the webcam
Record using webcam and screen capture in the same
time.
The maximum time in the free way is fifteen minutes.
Change the size.
Active/ deactivate the narration
Active/deactivate the computer audio.
Advanced preferences.
Start record Cancel record
8. You can click Alt+P to play or to pause the recording.
9. To finish or delete the record, click the “pause” button or ALT+P and then click “done” or the
trash icon. You will be able to watch the result and if it’s right you can save as video file or
upload to the screencast-o-matic web or youtube. As well as you can redo or cancel.
In this case you must to save as video file to edit this.

  • 1. Why not CLIL? 1 TASK 1 CREATE A TASK USING A WEB TOOL. One of the most wonderful websites about how to use web tools into education is ARTEFACTOS DIGITALES. It was created by Conecta 13. In this website you could easily check what different tools you have to create a task with your students. For example, imagine you want to record you students telling a story. This is called a podcast, so there you have the different links you have to different webites to create for free, also you have some good practises you have as an example and sometimes a videotutorial to help you to work with the tool. In this task we want you to create a mini task for your unit plan using one webtool. The following chart would be helpful for you to do it. TITLE OF THE TASK: Let’s introduce your project AIM OF THE TASK: The aim of the task is that the students introduce the process of creation and agreement of the final logotype. They must do this presentation in English. DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK: (What are they going to do? How are you going to organize them? Steps to follow and final product) During the task of create a logotype, the students works by groups of four members, after this they have to introduce the result to the rest of the class. They must explain to the class what was the commission (the company, the product, the profile of future consumers, the price...), what drawn all the members in initial step working in individual way, how they mixed all the sketches to create the final logotype and how they did the digital image of this. They must film this presentation but is not essential they have to appear in this video. They will film images of the process: the paper with the commission, all the sketches and the digital logotype. Usually the students that chooses art in 4th grade chooses ICT too. So we will work with the teacher of ICT together. The ICT students works with a video edition program called Openshot and an audio edition program called Audacity, these ones is already installed in their laptops.   • 2. Why not CLIL? 2 Tutorial about the web tool. 1. The first you must do is go to the web page. Click “start recording” and the page will change. 2. Click to the rectangular with “download recorder”. There will appear a window to save the file. 3. Execute the file and accept all the indications. Now the program is installed. 4. In this case the program already is opened and you can start, but in the next time you want to use it, you must to go to the web page again and click “start recording” another time. In this case you will be able to record directly. 5. When the program is in execution you will see a square in your screen and the toolbar in the inferior-left side. 6. You must to search the screen you want to film. 7. You can change the preferences with the toolbar: Record only the screen. Record using the webcam Record using webcam and screen capture in the same time. The maximum time in the free way is fifteen minutes. Change the size. Active/ deactivate the narration Active/deactivate the computer audio. Advanced preferences. Start record Cancel record 8. You can click Alt+P to play or to pause the recording. 9. To finish or delete the record, click the “pause” button or ALT+P and then click “done” or the trash icon. You will be able to watch the result and if it’s right you can save as video file or upload to the screencast-o-matic web or youtube. As well as you can redo or cancel. In this case you must to save as video file to edit this.
