Special Education Gap
Introduction
Purpose Statement
The purpose of this research is to examine the achievement gap between whites and minorities in
special education on standardized testing.
Justification
Throughout history there has been an achievement gap between whites and minorities due to the
history of inadequate education standards. In present research the achievement gap have shown a
negative correlation on the future of many minority students. When this academic gap is considered in
terms of math and science achievement, the implications become even more troublesome. In today s
society, engineering and technology are extremely important because they relate to career
opportunities in many different fields. The curriculum taught in science and math courses

So, You Re Planning On A Media Room Or Dedicated Home Theater
So, you re planning on a media room or dedicated home theater room. You need to know everything
about home theater seating. This guide will educate the home theater buyer on how to select and
purchase home theater seating.
Home Theater Room Dimensions:
The first thing a buyer needs to do is measure the theater room in it s entirety. Top four considerations
when buying home theater furniture.
The width of the viewing screen. The optimum viewing distance is 1.5 to 2 times the width of your
viewing screen. After you have decided this, you now know where to start your first row of seats.
Should I put a second row of seats in my theater? A second row may need a raised platform at least 7
inches in order to see over the front row ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The advantage to these seats are that you can fit more of them in a limited space than recliners. The
most common use is placing these seats on a second row platform in home theater, apartment building
theaters, condo association theaters and home theaters that want to achieve the movie theater look.
Fixed theater seating is not as comfortable as recliners but it has its place in some home theaters. The
trend with apartment and condo complexes is to build a community theater for the residents. This
provides an amenity for community living. In this case, movie theater seating makes sense so you can
fit larger numbers of people in a smaller space. The viewing time is usually limited to a few hours at a
time versus home theaters where people tend to use for tv, movie and gaming which extends the time
utlization of the seats.
Pre Built Home Theater Seating Vs Special Order Seating
Pre Built Home Theater Seating For customers on a limited budget with limited time for delivery. Pre
built seating is seating that is normally in stock. The seating is pre built theater seating with limited
color choices. The most common color available in pre built seating is black leather/vinyl or black
leatherette. Most pre built seating is manual recline. What you see is what you get with pre built
seating. Special Order or Custom Theater Seating For customers with a little better budget that have
planned their lead time properly. In this case, you

The Importance Of Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium
Prior to 1908, scientists were unable to consider a single gene in a diploid organism let alone being
able to determine its proportions. Luckily two very important individuals, Godfrey Hardy and Wilhem
Weinberg, combined forces and derived a theorem to calculate equilibrium in allele frequencies.
Today, this theorem is referred to as Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium. In one Cell Journal article, the
importance of such a theorem is describe as, Population based genetic association studies have proven
to be a powerful tool in identifying genes implicated in many complex human diseases that have a
huge impact on public health. An essential quality control step in such studies is to undertake Hardy
Weinberg equilibrium (HWE) calculations ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For the purpose of this experiment, I propose that if a population experiences forces such as genetic
drift, selection, and non random mating combined, then the fittest allele will express dominance,
leading to elimination of alternative alleles, and an extreme decrease in population size. Each scenario
was run through the Koi Fish pond simulation and then finally all run together to compare how each
force works on their own and then when combined.
Methods:
To simulate the introduction of genetic drift, selection, and non random mating into a population,
www.virtualbiologylab.org, specifically the PopGen Fish Pond was used. This simulator allows
experiments to be conducted online without the need of anything tangible besides a computer. The
website specifically describes the simulator as simulating natural environment with the way life
responds to changing conditions . Within the simulator, parameters and conditions can be adjusted to
model the population with the forces accordingly. For this experiment, parameters were set as follows:
initial size 50, carrying capacity 50, rr 1, Rr 0.5, RR 0.5, strength of assortment 0.6. The remaining
parameters were left as they were set by the simulator.

Natural And Natural Sublime
Many different natural and manmade things can be interpreted as aesthetically sublime. Things that
are sublime are all around, and they attract a lot of attention from the public. Most tourist attractions
are considered sublime. The sublime portrays the strong emotions of awe that people have when they
see powerful forces of the natural world. Along with tourist attractions being sublime, most art pieces,
especially paintings, are sublime. While some artists paint natural, sublime scenes like mountains,
volcanoes, and waterfalls, the artists Erich Mercker, Hans Müller, and Fritz Gärtner demonstrate the
sublime by painting industrial scenes that are immense in size and contain bright orange molten metal
which creates feelings of power and fear. The sublime describes the awe and shock that people
experience when they see something that is enormous in size. David Rodgers summarizes the works
of a man named Longinus, who is credited as the first person to define the sublime. Longinus defines
it as differing from beauty and evoking more intense emotions by vastness, a quality that inspires awe.
Whereas beauty may be found in the small, the smooth, the light and the everyday, the sublime is vast,
irregular, obscure and superhuman (Rodgers, 1996, pg. 889). He explains that the sublime is more
than just beauty because the sublime captures the massive size of these objects that creates
wonderment. Along with Longinus writing about the vast and sheer awe that the sublime creates,
Immanuel Kant also explains his definition of the sublime. Kant explains that the physical properties,
whether actually or imaginative perceived, that were generally accorded to the sublime by 18th
century writers, were vastness, obscurity and irregularity, all of which could evoke a degree of terror
(Rodgers, 1996 pg. 890). He also agreed that the impressive size of things helped make them sublime.
Overall, the sublime explains the wonderment and awe that someone feels when looking at something
that is huge and impressive. A painting that portrays the sublime is Mercker s Copper Mill at Duisburg
on Rhine River (Türk, 2003, p. 266). The painting shows a large factory that is right on a river, and the
machines present in the painting

Alexander The Great Short Story
Olympias told Alexander what had happened that morning. For the whole day, it buzzed around in
Alexander s mind. The following day, Alexander attended a symposium and recognized the red wine
he would drink when he was with the maenads. He drank a bit, and then some, and them some more.
Before Alexander knew it, he was in a daze. Dionysus appeared next to him, though Alexander did not
recognize him. Your father... He is nothing but a nuisance. Why don t you get rid of him? Clearly, your
mother is incapable of doing it. If my mother can t even do it, how can I? Alexander relied. She doesn

declaration was heard in countries thousands of miles away, beckoning the brightest minds and the
newest innovations from across the world to come to St. Louis for the 1904 World s Fair. The fair

Every foreign nation that participated was eager for the opportunity to showcase their unique culture
and history. The exhibits were set up in such a way as to highlight the artistic and technological
advances each country had made in the last century. These were displayed in The Palaces, carefully
and lavishly constructed show places, complete with immense columns and spired towers. The Palaces
by themselves made up five million square feet of exhibit space. The Agriculture Palace was the
largest of these, alone comprising twenty three acres. Foreigners were also hired as living displays,
providing fairgoers with a rare chance to interact with people from exotic places. People were
enchanted by geishas and so called Islander primitives . The very best sculptors, carpenters, painters,
jewelers, glassblowers and others flocked to Missouri to show off their creations and sell their wares.
The Pike was a primary attraction a mile long presentation of theaters, games, and such adventures as
stalking wild animals through a miniature jungle or strolling the streets of ancient Rome. The
expression coming down to the Pike was coined at the Exposition. Perhaps one of the biggest
attractors was that St. Louis was chosen to host the 1904 Olympic games. This was the first time that
the Olympics had been held in America since the revival of the event in 1896. Back then, it did not

Caffeine and Reaction Time
Daniel Kim 12 3 12 HBS, period 1 Reaction time experiment Caffeine and Reaction Time 1) Identify
the Problem or Question How does the consumption of caffeine affect the reaction time of the nervous
system? 2) Introduction Purpose of the experiment: To identify the whether or not caffeine increases
or decreases the reaction time of the nervous system. In our experiment, we have decided to use all the
cases which will test how fast a signal from our brain will be sent to our muscles in order to click the
mouse when we see an object or directions on the screen. We know that the commonly used drug,
caffeine, increases the heart rate, thus the increase in blood flow. The question in our experiment is,

When he consumed the 12 oz of coffee, his average reaction time decreased to 344+ 60 milliseconds.
It is quite apparent from the graphs that the average reaction time for every case for each test subject
decreased when absorbing caffeine into their system. Test subjects also consumed the right amount of
caffine, 160mg, which allowed the subject to shorten their reaction time, while the wrong dosage
could impair it. We can also draw from the graphs the relation that the younger the test subjects are,
the quicker their reaction time will be. Also, we can also conclude from the results that males tend to
have a quicker reaction time than females (Daniel s reaction times were faster than Jazmine s, and
Keon s were faster than Mi s). 8) State the conclusion The hypothesis was correct. The effects of
caffeine shortened the reaction time in all of our test subjects. 9) Summary Paragraph The reason why
we were able to correctly devise a hypothesis for the experiment was because of the prior knowledge
we had of the drug, caffeine. Caffeine increases the heart rate, which allows for faster muscle
contractions. Caffeine does not really affect the actual reaction of the nervous system, but rather the
actual contractions of the muscles themselves. This known fact of caffeine is reflected in the
experiment. It shortened the reaction time of our test subjects in every

Personal Diet and Weight Loss Management Analysis Essay
Personal Diet and Weight Loss Management Analysis
Each morning I get on the scales and hope that I can celebrate losing a pound or two. The numbers I
see on the scale represent a gauge that keeps me moving forward in a weight loss program. When I
look at the numbers on the scale I realize I am making progress in losing weight, however, am I
putting my body at more risk just by limiting certain foods? Comparing and contrasting my typical
diet to the amounts of daily nutrients recommended in the United States Department of Agriculture
(USDA) Food Guide Pyramid has proven that I am not a healthy eater. I may have to make some
dramatic changes or face significant health issues in the future. After reviewing several plans, I have

intake of grains, fruits, vegetables, milk product, and meat and bean food groups (HealthierUS.Gov,
2005).

The analysis of my diet quickly leads to the next step where I identified the highest health risk alerts
associated with my eating habits. These include: diabetes, osteoporosis, heart disease and cancer. The
risk factors contributing to diabetes include only having a moderate amount of exercise, being
overweight, having a low intake of fiber and having a sweet tooth. The weight gain can be attributed
in part due to aging but also a diet high in carbohydrates and fat.
I am at risk for osteoporosis due to the fact that I do not have enough calcium or iron in my diet and
lead a fairly sedentary lifestyle. Increasing my intake of milk and dairy products will meet the
nutritional recommendations and a program of weight bearing exercise will also contribute to reducing
the risk of this disease. Additionally, I will schedule a bone density test as part of my next physical
exam as an integral part of assessing my bone status for this disease.
Heart disease, especially hypertension, is a possible health risk as my sodium intake is not consistent

Oostrum s shots of the film are a masterpiece of originality or modern composition (Berardinelli).
Despite being a masterpiece , slipups were produced by Oostrum. Continuity and factual errors should

Matthew Brady. At Little Round Top, a jet trail can be seen. The first plane was not flown until 1903.
After that, you can see a man in a blue shirt with a camera pointed toward the soldiers. A statue of
General Warren can also be seen near the round tops. Moving cars and tire marks can be found on the
battleground. During Pickett s charge, you can see lights from what appears to be a school field in the
background. Even some footage in the film is used twice. Despite the number of errors Oostrum
provides viewers, he is still able to capture the beauty of the surrounding Pennsylvania countryside.

The Animal Shaped, By The King Of The Gods
Although the idea of daemons as animal shaped, external companions found their full appeal in the
worlds of His Dark Materials, the concept of daemons itself is far older. The word originates from the
Ancient Greek daimon, which meant god or guiding spirit, aptly describing its role in ancient Greek
mythology (Daimon, dictionary.com). Zeus, the king of the gods, assigned daemons as nameless
protectors, guiding humans throughout their lives. As such, they served as guardian spirits with the
status of lesser deities (Bruner, pages 15 16). In particular, one Ancient Greek philosopher, Socrates,
mentioned daemons by name when he claimed that an inner voice often warned him against unwise
decisions. He called this voice a daimonion, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The following two books, The Subtle Knife in 1997 and The Amber Spyglass in 2000, add more
layers of complexity to both the worlds of the novels and to the idea of daemons itself. Specifically,
The Subtle Knife introduces the character of Will Parry and the object which lends its name to the title
of the novel, as it could open windows to other universes. The Amber Spyglass, finishing the trilogy,
reveals Will and Lyra s eventual destiny as they transition from innocence and youth to maturity and
experience.
The story, while enjoyable for its lively characters and intriguing plot, also raises a deeper question:
To what extent are daemons effective portrayals of human souls in Philip Pullman s His Dark
Materials? Undeniably, daemons form perhaps one of the most appealing aspects of the trilogy. Souls
have been a subject of human thought for much of history, as humans seek to better understand
themselves and how they connect to the wider universe. Thus, the three novels, through daemons,
allow readers to engage in this task and ponder questions of the soul, both within and outside of the
books. The most popular form which this takes is the persistent question of wondering which form one
s own daemon would take, thereby discovering truths about one s own identity. For example,
concluding that one s daemon is a tiger can suggest that the person is courageous and powerful, but
also solitary and

The Exorcist Defines the Horror Genre Essay
The horror genre has held a prominent position in culture for most of history. Beginning in folklore,
used as a device to scare children into good behaviors (e.g. The Grimm Brother s Fairy Tales), horror
has integrated its way into the 21st century through film, and in recent years even video games. Yearly,
primarily during the fall when the leaves start to brown and the natural eerie sense of fear fills the air
around Halloween, the film industry likes to fill in the holes between its major grossing seasons by
filling the audience with fear. However, it was Christmas of 1973 that defined the new age of Horror,
when William Friedkin released The Exorcist. According to Julia Heimerdinger of Academia s online
journal, Horror, as a whole, can ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In any genre, the correct note at the exact, pivotal moment can leave a member of the audience in
tears, bliss, or suspense. Contrary to Julia Heimdinger s opinion, however, the lack of non digetic
sound tends to be very important to the horror genre. This is because it allows you to experience the
genuine fear that the protagonist is feeling. You can hear their frantic breath, or the creaking of floor
boards, or even the rustling of leaves. This suspends the audience into a very realistic moment of
suspence and fear. According to Clifford G. Schuette of Kansas State University: when sound is taken
out of the equation, one s attention to detail and focus vastly increases (Schuette 13). Once the
soundtrack is removed and only digetic sound remains, the viewer may become more involved and
invested in the scene. This will ultimately create a more intense emotional reaction when the scene s
suspense and tension culminate into the climatic scare.
Special effects are another very important tool in defining the horror genre. In the years leading up to
the 1970s, special effects were almost non existent, or minimal at best, in the film industry. It wasn t
until The Exorcist was released in 1973 that movie goers were hit with believable special effects that
would have been thought impossible a mere half decade before. As a result of these revolutionary
special effects, The

Examples Of Chivalry In Medieval Literature
When one speaks of the knights of old, one must always speak of the Chivalric Code, that law by
which all knights, at least those spoken of in legend and Arthurian myth, abided. First spoken of in
The Song of Roland, the Chivalric Code details a specific set of guidelines and regulations that
knights had to maintain in order to keep the peace throughout the realm in which they abided. In lines

been molded from and is constantly tested by it. There is no one real way to define a knight, but a

that was constituted chivalry and subsequent knighthood in the past is not necessarily what constitutes

knighthood can be bestowed upon anyone, mainly those who seek the betterment of the UK, as well as

that knighthood took on many societies and fraternal organization in order to spread its doctrine and

Healthcare clinics are under a great deal of pressure to reduce costs and improve quality of service. In
recent years, healthcare organizations have concentrated on preventive medicine practices and have
tried to reduce the length of time that patients stay in a hospital. Outpatient services have gradually
become an essential component of healthcare. Organizations that cannot make their outpatient
component cost effective are finding themselves financially burdened in this ever changing industry

As a result of this, when one patient takes longer to process, the Arrival Queue becomes a bottleneck.
Patients begin to stack up behind one another while they wait for the other patients to be processed.
This is point in the process that needs improvement. By fixing the time it takes to process each patient
and removing or reordering certain steps, the cycle time could be reduced and the bottleneck
eliminated.
Work Process Improvement
As stated earlier, the cost for health care is rising for both employers and employees; therefore, both
employers and employees are seeking for medical groups that provide systems of very well
coordinated care. Coordinating care creates significant advantages for patient by delivering high
quality care efficiently, so that patients get the most for their health care dollars. When services are
integrated and carefully designed across the stream of care, this thoughtfulness up front eliminates
duplication of processes and inappropriate services. Patients, employers and medical groups benefit in
terms of better health and streamlined costs associated with the care.
Survey after survey suggest that the biggest frustrations for patients are:
1. Appointment access
2. Phone Access
3. Getting information about their test results
4. Understanding how to use medical group systems (referrals, eligibility, business department, etc.)

Good Vs Evil Analysis
To be human, means having the ability to articulate emotions and ideas that can lead to questioning
what is good and what is evil. The theme of good and evil is expressed through the eyes of the man
and the boy, who label people as either good guys or bad guys. While the boy has a more simplistic
idea of good and evil, the man has a hard time grasping the difference between who the good guys and
the bad guys are. He wonders as to what makes him any different from the cannibal blood cults, who
like them are just trying to survive. Humans have a distinct need to try and distinguish between bad

The Pearl s Characters In The Pearl By John Steinbeck
In a small fishing village by the name of La Paz, live a simple, content, and calm family. The family
consists of a child, Coyotito, and husband and wife, Juana and Kino. Kino is a poor fisherman and
pearl diver that is simply working to support his family that he cares for very much. In the novel, Kino
eventually acquires a pearl that he hopes will change his life around. As a result, the whole of his

Coyotito, a rifle, and a marriage in a church, but realistically, the pearl shows death and more morbid

view him. The pearl symbolizes hope, a trait that Kino previously possessed, but somewhat lost after
the incident involving Coyotito s illness. Kino s eyes and voice [became] hard and cold and a
brooding hate was growing in him (Steinbeck 38). At the beginning of the novel, Kino is very

us to believe that the pearl has an influence on Kino. The pearl then makes Kino impatient and

A Raisin In The Sun A Success
A Raisin in the Sun was first produced in 1959 and brings forth many of the issues which were to
divide American culture during the 1960s. Lorraine Hansberry, the writer, was an unknown figure who
achieved her success when her play became a Broadway hit. Not only were successful young black
women writers were rare at the time, but they were also virtually unheard of. Despite the unpopularity
of colored women writers, the success of A Raisin in the Sun was stunning. Hansberry s ability to
articulate words make her successful and well known across the world. Having the mind and
determination to become successful isn t an easy task. Success isn t considered a gift, it should be a
hard task to achieve and it matters how it is accomplished. Success

A Polytheistic Religion
Being a polytheistic religion, Hindus worship multiple Gods. Although a lot of the different gods are
said to be different avatars of the trimurti, in a sense, each God represents an ideal quality or role one

different quality and these qualities in a sense serve as model behaviors a true believer must follow in

Fingerprinting Identification and Understanding the Term Daubert Hearing
From the early days, with little literary reference material, to the current day, with substantially more,
but still insufficient formation, the science of fingerprint identification has managed to maintain its
credibility and usefulness. Although, academic institutions have yet to recognize the field as an
applied science and include it in the curricula, which would provide directed research and literary
reference, in libraries. Without this academic recognition, progress in the field of fingerprint is

Daubert s opinion states that: the Federal Rules of Evidence superseded General Acceptance tests for
admissibility of novel scientific evidence. Prior to the Daubert hearing from 1923 until 1993 the rigid
general acceptance test, which arose from Ftye v. United States, 293 f2d. 1013 (D.C. Cir. 1923) is at
odds with the liberal thrust of the Federal Rules of Evidence. It is the trial judge that must still screen
scientific evidence to ensure it is relevant and reliable to be used in the court of law. The focus, of
courts, must be solely on principles and methodology, not on the conclusions they generate. The court
should consider factors but by no means exclusive criteria in fulfilling its responsibilities by 1) Testing
and validation of the theory or technique and what are the results 2) Has peer review being done on

can be completed through online courses, lectures, conferences, and courses that meet requirements.

Chivalry In Sir Garwain And The Green Knight
For any college student studying British literature a reading of Sir Garwain and the Green Knight may
evoke a series and emotions within the reader. Some readers may empathize with the characters while
others may relate it to a persona story. However, for the most part persons may just recollect their
childhood fairytale stories where the knight comes in on his shining armor to protect the lady from the
tower. The next closest thing to knighthood that we can relate to our modern day experiences is the
army on the military whose job it is to protect and serve the good of humanity. However, throughout
the poem and we hear mention of the word chivalry. In fact in our classes our professors discuss the
idea of chivalry. This paper seeks to define chivalry and examine its importance in Sir Garwain and
the Green Knight.
An initial read of Sir Garwain and the Green Knight may be a little difficult because of the fact that so
few of the concepts that are explored throughout the poem are existent today. In fact, with the author
unknown and the lone manuscript of the poem some concepts may have been misinterpreted and
misunderstood. However foreign the concepts may seem, Sir Garwain and the Green Knight continues
to be studied up to centuries after its perceived coinage.

Essay on Collegiate Binge Drinking
Abstract: As recognition grows that binge drinking on colleges nationwide is more prevalent than
ever, school administrators and parents alike are seeking useful intervention to combat this issue.
Studies have determined that students use of alcohol is shaped, to some extent; by how much they
think other students on campus drink (Wechsler 2000:57). Most college students are in the particular
age group that statistically has the highest rate of binge drinking. According to the American Journal
of Public Health, this leads college students who decide to overindulge extremely vulnerable to such
health problems as: injuries from related car crashes; unplanned and unsafe sex; assault and aggressive
behavior; alcohol dependence; and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For the purpose of this thesis, I will look specifically at binge drinking rates among college students in
Wisconsin and California. Having attended higher education in each state, I will try to gain a better
understanding as to why there is a higher level of binge drinking among college students in Wisconsin
than California. I will look at significant themes such as underage drinking, adult binge drinking, and
certain alcohol related policies in both states to show that there is a correlation between the
aforementioned variables and college binge drinking.
Historical Background
Sociologists in Wisconsin have for years tried to determine why alcohol is so engrained in that state s
culture. Sociologists concede that Climate, ethnicity, the historical significance of the brewing
business, a relative lack of newcomers who would want to reform lenient laws, as well as the social
nature of drinking in general are all possible explanations (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Wasted in
Wisconsin series 2008). Alcohol has become such a prevalent issue in Wisconsin that the Milwaukee
Journal Sentinel, Wisconsin s largest newspaper, has written a 72 part series on binge drinking in
Wisconsin. The series, called Wasted in Wisconsin, details how drinking is so deeply rooted in

The Veldt By Ray Bradbury Analysis
Competing, as humans we compete so much throughout our lives, it s what makes us human. We even
try so hard that we distance ourselves from others. Ray Bradbury shows us in his two stories, The
Veldt and Marionettes, Inc. that there is something we can t contend with; technology. In these stories
the author shows us a world where people are distant because of and can t compete with technology.
In Ray Bradbury s short story The Veldt he shows us a family that is so distant from each other
because of technology. The Hadley family lives in a Happylife Home that does everything for them
and the children depend on their nursery that has raised them their entire lives. Mr. David McClean
comments to Mr. Hadley, You ve let this room and this house replace you and your wife in your
children s affections. This room is their mother and father, far more important in their lives than real
parents ( The Veldt 10). Children Wendy and Peter live in their own personal bubble because they don
t have to rely on their parents for anything. The children rely so much on their nursery that it has
replaced and made them so distant from their own parents. Technology has become the children s
parents; their role model. The nursery has caused the family to become distant, but it s more than that,
it s the entire house. Bradbury adds, And he marched around the house turning off the voice clocks,
the stoves, the heaters, the shoe shiners, the shoe lacers, the body scrubbers and swabbers

Benefits Of A Unified Salary Schedule
There are many advantages and disadvantages to a single, unified salary schedule. These types of
salary schedules only recognize years of service and amount of education to determine salary amounts
for all certified staff. Each salary schedule has strengths and areas of improvement, and analysis of the
salary schedule will highlight these areas. Salary schedules, including Hollister RV School District s,
only require teachers to remain employed thorough the school year to earn a raise in pay for the next
year, automatically moving to the next step on the salary schedule. Pay increases also are earned by
moving to the next lane or column based on the hours of graduate credit completed toward an
advanced degree, such as a Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree. Hollister RV School District s
certified staff s salary schedule discloses several areas of exceptionality, highlighting what is
important to the District. However, there are also areas to be improved, including recruitment and
retention (Hollister RV School District, 2016). One exceptional characteristic of the salary schedule is
that the vertical steps carry the same monetary value as the horizontal columns with the exception of
completing a Master s degree or a Specialist degree. This salary schedule indicates an equal value is
placed on service and completed education. Upon completing a degree, staff salaries increase $960
instead of the $480 earned by simply accumulating additional hours of education.

Australia s Arid Lands
The arid lands of Australia are sparsely populated compared to those on the coastal fringes. Low
rainfall and a scarcity of water have traditionally limited the arid regions of Australia to the cowboys.
Although Australia is similar in size to the United States, proportionally the amount of arid land is
much higher. In the United States, only the southwest is extremely arid. Seventy percent of Australia
falls into this category, making it well suited for camels. As a result, few people are found more than
one hundred fifty miles inland in Australia. The Australian population can not grow like in America.
The US currently has a population of 275,000,000. Australia s population is only 20,000,000, and
experts argue that it can only grow to 25 or 30 million before being unable to support more people. [3]
One of the best possibilities for cultivation that remains relatively untouched is southeastern Australia.
This region receives enough rainfall to be productive and there are still relatively few people living

Ibn Taymiyyah s The Song Of Roland
Ibn Taymiyyah a scholar from the medieval age once said, What really counts are good endings not
flawed beginnings. In the poem The Song Of Roland the main character, Roland struggles with his
pride and bitterness towards the man who married his mother. The story starts with Roland sending his
stepfather off to what they thought would be death, this bitterness ultimately sent hundreds of soldiers
to their deaths. The stepfather, Ganelon, betrayed Charlemagne and Roland and sided with the enemy
swearing to get back at Roland for his bad deed. The Song Of Roland starts with a bitter beginning
and a revival of character in the end, like Ibn Taymiyyah said. The book shows the character of
Roland in many different ways, bitter, prideful, and heroic, but none of these save him or his men.
Firstly, some could argue Roland s bitterness in his character acted as the major flaw and the possible
cause of his death. As an example, My noble knights, said the Emperor Charles, choose me one man: a

The Importance Of Easter In Spain
People around the world have many cultures and holidays. Everyone celebrates their holidays with
traditions that appeal to them. With cultural difference added, diversity is created and is part of the
festivities throughout the world. Spain, for example, is just like any other country with its own
holidays, traditions, and activities. This Spanish speaking country has those that contrast to the ones

To begin with, Spain has a holiday called Semana Santa, or Holy Week, that lasts for a week. The
week before Easter, the regions of the Spanish speaking country celebrate the resurrection of Jesus
with their own styles and customs. However, according to Miruna Corneanu, the author of the article

religious fervor, extravagant processions, color, and art. Motley parades and complex religious

celebrate Good Friday by playing drums for twenty four hours. On the contrary, Easter is a holiday

Compulsory Military Draft
Compulsory National Service was accepted by many Americans back when the nation was starting to
become a powerhouse and wars were beginning to emerge. However, forcing young adults to join or
at least register for the military at the age of 18 or is wrong because it is against their free will, they
may have a different career path in mind that could be disrupted if a war is to emerge and it will affect
their mental state and they could be diagnosed with PTSD.
To start off, compulsory national service is when a country requires that men and women register for
the military at the age of 18. Once they are registered, if a war breaks out and their nation is in the
war, they are automatically thrown into military service without their say so. This could mean that at
any age and at any time, a young adult could just be thrown into ... Show more content on

Having the draft and requiring that they either serve or go to jail is going to disrupted their career path
or taint their background when trying to get future jobs. If a person were to refuse the draft and get
sent to jail, then when they are finally released and they try to apply for a job, that charge could appear
on the background check of the person and prevent them from getting a job. On the other hand, when
they decide to join rather than be put into jail, they are taken away to train for military combat. That
means that they are also taken away from being able to improve their skills in their career field. Not
only will they lose the time to improve their skills in their career but they will also begin to lose skills
that they gained from the career. They will be so focused on fighting, staying alive and how much
time they have left being in the war that once they return to their job they will have to be trained
again. Making their lives harder and the employers lives

Faha Insured Loans Pros And Cons
Pros and Cons of FHA insured loans
Families that have low or moderate income looking for a mortgage have a lifesaver in FHA insured
loans. Loans insured by Federal Housing Administration otherwise known as FHA loans are great for
families that do not have a high income. FHA insured loans are government backed loan programs
designed to help families get new loans of their homes at extremely low costs compared to
conventional mortgage loans.
One of the major misconceptions about FHA insured loans that need to be clear is the source of the
loans. It is worth knowing that the Federal Housing Administration does not give out loans. Instead,
the agency insures loans given to borrowers by lending institutions. This insurance consequently
makes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These drawbacks have somewhat affected borrowers demand for FHA loans. Some of these
drawbacks are as follows.
One of such disadvantages is the limits set by FHA on loan amount that can be taken by borrowers.
This measure is to ensure that the privilege is not abused by borrowers and only families that fall
within the approved income bracket benefit from the loan.
Another drawback of FHA insured loans to some people is the requirement that borrowers must reside
in the house and use it as their primary residence. This condition makes the loan not suitable for
persons that are looking to purchase a home as a vacation spot or as an investment property. The
reason for the restriction is that the loans are designed for families that are trying to get a home for
themselves.
One of the major features of getting an FHA insured loan is that borrowers need to go through an FHA
approved lending institution. However, this is only part of the process, and fortunately, there are tens
to hundreds of lending institutions approved by the Federal Housing Administration to provide
mortgage loans to

The World s Biggest Fan Essay

The World s Biggest Fan
Can you imagine what would happen if all the ice on our planet melted? According to the National
Snow and Ice Data Center, about 15 million square miles of land are covered by ice, which means that
10 percent of the land on Earth is ice. If all the ice were to melt, sea levels would rise about 200 feet,
and coastal cities would be completely submerged underwater. Billions of people would be homeless,
and the habitats and lives of wildlife would be doomed. Plus, Earth s weather patterns would go
through massive changes, and salt water would pollute freshwater aquifers, affecting drinking water
and crops. The question now is not if this will happen, but when.
Since the beginning of time, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These suggestions however are outrageous and impossible for everyday people to do. It s unbelievable
that scientists would even consider these solutions. That is why I have proposed that we set up fans
everywhere we can. By setting up fans everywhere we can, the cold air produced will cool down Earth
s temperatures and reverse the process of global warming. If this plan is implemented, then climate
change will be a thing of the past.
According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, a fan is an apparatus with rotating blades that creates a
current of air for cooling or ventilation . They are powered by a motor and work by moving the air in
front of the fan. This movement creates a breeze and chills the area. In the summertime, my grandma
uses a fan when her room gets too warm. Why can t we apply this logic to combat the global warming
of this room we call Earth? There are many options to utilize the power of fans. One option is to set up
enormous fans along the coastlines. Every major city on the coastline will have a giant fan. They will
install the fan onto a dock and will constantly have it blowing, even in the wintertime. If the average
fan is 16 inches and has a wind speed of 7.2 meters/seconds, then a fan 10,000 times the size of an
average fan will generate a wind speed of 72,000 m/s. Scientist Matthew Jones says, that the
combined amount of wind speed from every city will be enough to drop Earth s temperature by 0.5

Binary Search Tree Essay
For the main portion of the project, or implementing and performing operations on both a binary
search tree linked list structure, and a max heap linked list structure, the main function of the program
contains several do while loops, with calls to various other functions, in order to provide a menu based
interface, for user functionality. Overall, the program implements numerous functions, including
createBST, createHeap, buildHeap, disPreOrder, disLevelOrder, searchBST, searchHeap, insertBST,
insertHeap, createHeapInsertionList, addHeapInsertionList, enQueue, deQueue, and isEmpty.
Regarding time complexity, the createBST function contains a single for loop, in order to insert a
specified number of nodes into ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While the dispPreOrder function, only executes once per call, recursively, the dispPreOrder function is
required to execute N times, where N represents the number of nodes necessary for processing
through the function. Therefore, the dispPreOrder function contains an order of N, or O(N) in Big O
notation. Moreover, the dispLevelOrder function contains a single while loop, in order to construct a
queue of nodes, by level, in order to develop a traversal by each level of the tree like structure. With a
single while loop, and calls to the enQueue, deQueue, and isEmpty functions, the dispLevelOrder
function executes, or conducts iterations a total of N times, where N represents the number of
iterations through the while loop. Therefore, the dispLevelOrder function contains an order of N, or
O(N) in Big O notation. The searchBST function is implemented as a recursive function, searching
through an already constructed a binary tree. In relation to a binary search tree, the searchBST
function executes only once per call, but executes log2N times, as the searching work is partitioned.
Therefore, the searchBST function contains an order of log2N, or O(log2N) in Big O notation. As
designed for the cases presented within the program, the searchHeap function contains a single while
loop, in order to iterate through a queue of nodes, by level, in order to match a given, user entered key,

What Is The Mood Of The Overcoat
Calcutta, India; Boston, Massachusetts; New York; late 1960 s to the early 2000 s.
The mood of the story is a mix of thoughtfulness, discontent, and displacement.
The point of view is third person omniscient.
The immigration experience, for families, caused a rift with the interactions between the traditional
values of the first generation, and the adapted American values of the second generation.
The story begins with an arranged married Indian couple, who recently moved to America, about to
greet their first child into the new world. When their son is born, Ashoke and Ashima wait to name
their child until a letter from Ashima s grandmother arrives with his name. Due to the hospital s
insistence on a name, the Ganguli s give him a pet name Gogol, a writer whose book saved Ashoke s
life long ago. When Gogol reaches the age to enter school, Ashoke picks a formal name ... Show more

He will walk downstairs with his mother, join the crowded party, photographing the people in his
parents life, in this house, one last time...He will watch her [Ashima] give away leftovers in the
cooking pots themselves...As the hours of the evening pass he will grow distracted, anxious to return
to his room, to be alone, to read the book he had once forsaken, has abandoned until now. Until
moments ago it was destined to disappear from his life altogether, but he has salvaged it by chance, as
his father was pulled from a crushed train forty years ago... For now, he starts to read. (Lahiri, 290
291). This quote characterizes Gogol, and how it took him to the end of the novel to overcome his
initial rejection of his identity. It is now that he searches and embraces the only physical tie left to his
past. Gogol finally completes his inner self journey by being open to his

This guide will educate the home theater buyer on how to select and purchase home theater seating. Home Theater Room Dimensions: The first thing a buyer needs to do is measure the theater room in it s entirety. Top four considerations when buying home theater furniture. The width of the viewing screen. The optimum viewing distance is 1.5 to 2 times the width of your viewing screen. After you have decided this, you now know where to start your first row of seats. Should I put a second row of seats in my theater? A second row may need a raised platform at least 7 inches in order to see over the front row ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The advantage to these seats are that you can fit more of them in a limited space than recliners. The most common use is placing these seats on a second row platform in home theater, apartment building theaters, condo association theaters and home theaters that want to achieve the movie theater look. Fixed theater seating is not as comfortable as recliners but it has its place in some home theaters. The trend with apartment and condo complexes is to build a community theater for the residents. This provides an amenity for community living. In this case, movie theater seating makes sense so you can fit larger numbers of people in a smaller space. The viewing time is usually limited to a few hours at a time versus home theaters where people tend to use for tv, movie and gaming which extends the time utlization of the seats. Pre Built Home Theater Seating Vs Special Order Seating Pre Built Home Theater Seating For customers on a limited budget with limited time for delivery. Pre built seating is seating that is normally in stock. The seating is pre built theater seating with limited color choices. The most common color available in pre built seating is black leather/vinyl or black leatherette. Most pre built seating is manual recline. What you see is what you get with pre built seating. Luckily two very important individuals, Godfrey Hardy and Wilhem Weinberg, combined forces and derived a theorem to calculate equilibrium in allele frequencies. Today, this theorem is referred to as Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium. In one Cell Journal article, the importance of such a theorem is describe as, Population based genetic association studies have proven to be a powerful tool in identifying genes implicated in many complex human diseases that have a huge impact on public health. • 5. Natural And Natural Sublime Many different natural and manmade things can be interpreted as aesthetically sublime. Things that are sublime are all around, and they attract a lot of attention from the public. Most tourist attractions are considered sublime. The sublime portrays the strong emotions of awe that people have when they see powerful forces of the natural world. Along with tourist attractions being sublime, most art pieces, especially paintings, are sublime. While some artists paint natural, sublime scenes like mountains, volcanoes, and waterfalls, the artists Erich Mercker, Hans Müller, and Fritz Gärtner demonstrate the sublime by painting industrial scenes that are immense in size and contain bright orange molten metal which creates feelings of power and fear. The sublime describes the awe and shock that people experience when they see something that is enormous in size. David Rodgers summarizes the works of a man named Longinus, who is credited as the first person to define the sublime. Longinus defines it as differing from beauty and evoking more intense emotions by vastness, a quality that inspires awe. Whereas beauty may be found in the small, the smooth, the light and the everyday, the sublime is vast, irregular, obscure and superhuman (Rodgers, 1996, pg. 889). He explains that the sublime is more than just beauty because the sublime captures the massive size of these objects that creates wonderment. Along with Longinus writing about the vast and sheer awe that the sublime creates, Immanuel Kant also explains his definition of the sublime. Kant explains that the physical properties, whether actually or imaginative perceived, that were generally accorded to the sublime by 18th century writers, were vastness, obscurity and irregularity, all of which could evoke a degree of terror (Rodgers, 1996 pg. 890). He also agreed that the impressive size of things helped make them sublime. Overall, the sublime explains the wonderment and awe that someone feels when looking at something that is huge and impressive. A painting that portrays the sublime is Mercker s Copper Mill at Duisburg on Rhine River (Türk, 2003, p. 266). The painting shows a large factory that is right on a river, and the machines present in the painting ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is quite apparent from the graphs that the average reaction time for every case for each test subject decreased when absorbing caffeine into their system. Test subjects also consumed the right amount of caffine, 160mg, which allowed the subject to shorten their reaction time, while the wrong dosage could impair it. We can also draw from the graphs the relation that the younger the test subjects are, the quicker their reaction time will be. Also, we can also conclude from the results that males tend to have a quicker reaction time than females (Daniel s reaction times were faster than Jazmine s, and Keon s were faster than Mi s). 8) State the conclusion The hypothesis was correct. The effects of caffeine shortened the reaction time in all of our test subjects. 9) Summary Paragraph The reason why we were able to correctly devise a hypothesis for the experiment was because of the prior knowledge we had of the drug, caffeine. Caffeine increases the heart rate, which allows for faster muscle contractions. • 12. The Animal Shaped, By The King Of The Gods Although the idea of daemons as animal shaped, external companions found their full appeal in the worlds of His Dark Materials, the concept of daemons itself is far older. The word originates from the Ancient Greek daimon, which meant god or guiding spirit, aptly describing its role in ancient Greek mythology (Daimon, dictionary.com). Zeus, the king of the gods, assigned daemons as nameless protectors, guiding humans throughout their lives. As such, they served as guardian spirits with the status of lesser deities (Bruner, pages 15 16). The following two books, The Subtle Knife in 1997 and The Amber Spyglass in 2000, add more layers of complexity to both the worlds of the novels and to the idea of daemons itself. Specifically, The Subtle Knife introduces the character of Will Parry and the object which lends its name to the title of the novel, as it could open windows to other universes. The Amber Spyglass, finishing the trilogy, reveals Will and Lyra s eventual destiny as they transition from innocence and youth to maturity and experience. The story, while enjoyable for its lively characters and intriguing plot, also raises a deeper question: To what extent are daemons effective portrayals of human souls in Philip Pullman s His Dark Materials? Undeniably, daemons form perhaps one of the most appealing aspects of the trilogy. Souls have been a subject of human thought for much of history, as humans seek to better understand themselves and how they connect to the wider universe. Thus, the three novels, through daemons, allow readers to engage in this task and ponder questions of the soul, both within and outside of the books. The most popular form which this takes is the persistent question of wondering which form one s own daemon would take, thereby discovering truths about one s own identity. For example, concluding that one s daemon is a tiger can suggest that the person is courageous and powerful, but also solitary and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 13. The Exorcist Defines the Horror Genre Essay The horror genre has held a prominent position in culture for most of history. Beginning in folklore, used as a device to scare children into good behaviors (e.g. The Grimm Brother s Fairy Tales), horror has integrated its way into the 21st century through film, and in recent years even video games. Yearly, primarily during the fall when the leaves start to brown and the natural eerie sense of fear fills the air around Halloween, the film industry likes to fill in the holes between its major grossing seasons by filling the audience with fear. However, it was Christmas of 1973 that defined the new age of Horror, when William Friedkin released The Exorcist. In any genre, the correct note at the exact, pivotal moment can leave a member of the audience in tears, bliss, or suspense. Contrary to Julia Heimdinger s opinion, however, the lack of non digetic sound tends to be very important to the horror genre. This is because it allows you to experience the genuine fear that the protagonist is feeling. You can hear their frantic breath, or the creaking of floor boards, or even the rustling of leaves. This suspends the audience into a very realistic moment of suspence and fear. According to Clifford G. Schuette of Kansas State University: when sound is taken out of the equation, one s attention to detail and focus vastly increases (Schuette 13). Once the soundtrack is removed and only digetic sound remains, the viewer may become more involved and invested in the scene. This will ultimately create a more intense emotional reaction when the scene s suspense and tension culminate into the climatic scare. Special effects are another very important tool in defining the horror genre. In the years leading up to the 1970s, special effects were almost non existent, or minimal at best, in the film industry. He never rationalizes the other people in the world besides the man and the boy, so the reader can decide for themselves whether the man and the boy are good. He doesn t write these situations as simple black and white situations, that disturbs the reader into thinking about what they would do in the man s situation. The pearl symbolizes hope, a trait that Kino previously possessed, but somewhat lost after the incident involving Coyotito s illness. Kino s eyes and voice [became] hard and cold and a brooding hate was growing in him (Steinbeck 38). At the beginning of the novel, Kino is very optimistic and positive. The pearl then makes Kino impatient and desperate for good luck, therefore he resorts to violence. Sociologists concede that Climate, ethnicity, the historical significance of the brewing business, a relative lack of newcomers who would want to reform lenient laws, as well as the social nature of drinking in general are all possible explanations (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Wasted in Wisconsin series 2008). Ray Bradbury shows us in his two stories, The Veldt and Marionettes, Inc. that there is something we can t contend with; technology. In these stories the author shows us a world where people are distant because of and can t compete with technology. In Ray Bradbury s short story The Veldt he shows us a family that is so distant from each other because of technology. The Hadley family lives in a Happylife Home that does everything for them and the children depend on their nursery that has raised them their entire lives. Mr. David McClean comments to Mr. Hadley, You ve let this room and this house replace you and your wife in your children s affections. This room is their mother and father, far more important in their lives than real parents ( The Veldt 10). Children Wendy and Peter live in their own personal bubble because they don t have to rely on their parents for anything. The children rely so much on their nursery that it has replaced and made them so distant from their own parents. Technology has become the children s parents; their role model. The nursery has caused the family to become distant, but it s more than that, it s the entire house. • 41. Compulsory Military Draft Compulsory National Service was accepted by many Americans back when the nation was starting to become a powerhouse and wars were beginning to emerge. However, forcing young adults to join or at least register for the military at the age of 18 or is wrong because it is against their free will, they may have a different career path in mind that could be disrupted if a war is to emerge and it will affect their mental state and they could be diagnosed with PTSD. To start off, compulsory national service is when a country requires that men and women register for the military at the age of 18. Once they are registered, if a war breaks out and their nation is in the war, they are automatically thrown into military service without their say so. This could mean that at any age and at any time, a young adult could just be thrown into ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Having the draft and requiring that they either serve or go to jail is going to disrupted their career path or taint their background when trying to get future jobs. If a person were to refuse the draft and get sent to jail, then when they are finally released and they try to apply for a job, that charge could appear on the background check of the person and prevent them from getting a job. On the other hand, when they decide to join rather than be put into jail, they are taken away to train for military combat. That means that they are also taken away from being able to improve their skills in their career field. Not only will they lose the time to improve their skills in their career but they will also begin to lose skills that they gained from the career. They will be so focused on fighting, staying alive and how much time they have left being in the war that once they return to their job they will have to be trained again. • 42. Faha Insured Loans Pros And Cons Pros and Cons of FHA insured loans Families that have low or moderate income looking for a mortgage have a lifesaver in FHA insured loans. Loans insured by Federal Housing Administration otherwise known as FHA loans are great for families that do not have a high income. FHA insured loans are government backed loan programs designed to help families get new loans of their homes at extremely low costs compared to conventional mortgage loans. One of the major misconceptions about FHA insured loans that need to be clear is the source of the loans. It is worth knowing that the Federal Housing Administration does not give out loans. Instead, the agency insures loans given to borrowers by lending institutions. This insurance consequently makes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These drawbacks have somewhat affected borrowers demand for FHA loans. Some of these drawbacks are as follows. One of such disadvantages is the limits set by FHA on loan amount that can be taken by borrowers. This measure is to ensure that the privilege is not abused by borrowers and only families that fall within the approved income bracket benefit from the loan. Another drawback of FHA insured loans to some people is the requirement that borrowers must reside in the house and use it as their primary residence. This condition makes the loan not suitable for persons that are looking to purchase a home as a vacation spot or as an investment property. The reason for the restriction is that the loans are designed for families that are trying to get a home for themselves. One of the major features of getting an FHA insured loan is that borrowers need to go through an FHA approved lending institution. However, this is only part of the process, and fortunately, there are tens to hundreds of lending institutions approved by the Federal Housing Administration to provide mortgage loans to ... • 43. The World s Biggest Fan Essay Sophie Rouse 11/3/17 Per. 3 The World s Biggest Fan Can you imagine what would happen if all the ice on our planet melted? According to the National Snow and Ice Data Center, about 15 million square miles of land are covered by ice, which means that 10 percent of the land on Earth is ice. If all the ice were to melt, sea levels would rise about 200 feet, and coastal cities would be completely submerged underwater. Billions of people would be homeless, and the habitats and lives of wildlife would be doomed. Plus, Earth s weather patterns would go through massive changes, and salt water would pollute freshwater aquifers, affecting drinking water and crops. The question now is not if this will happen, but when. Since the beginning of time, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These suggestions however are outrageous and impossible for everyday people to do. It s unbelievable that scientists would even consider these solutions. That is why I have proposed that we set up fans everywhere we can. By setting up fans everywhere we can, the cold air produced will cool down Earth s temperatures and reverse the process of global warming. If this plan is implemented, then climate change will be a thing of the past. According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, a fan is an apparatus with rotating blades that creates a current of air for cooling or ventilation . They are powered by a motor and work by moving the air in front of the fan. This movement creates a breeze and chills the area. In the summertime, my grandma uses a fan when her room gets too warm. Why can t we apply this logic to combat the global warming of this room we call Earth? There are many options to utilize the power of fans. One option is to set up enormous fans along the coastlines. Every major city on the coastline will have a giant fan. They will install the fan onto a dock and will constantly have it blowing, even in the wintertime. If the average fan is 16 inches and has a wind speed of 7.2 meters/seconds, then a fan 10,000 times the size of an average fan will generate a wind speed of 72,000 m/s. Scientist Matthew Jones says, that the combined amount of wind speed from every city will be enough to drop Earth s temperature by 0.5 F. Although people may argue ... • 44. Binary Search Tree Essay For the main portion of the project, or implementing and performing operations on both a binary search tree linked list structure, and a max heap linked list structure, the main function of the program contains several do while loops, with calls to various other functions, in order to provide a menu based interface, for user functionality. Overall, the program implements numerous functions, including createBST, createHeap, buildHeap, disPreOrder, disLevelOrder, searchBST, searchHeap, insertBST, insertHeap, createHeapInsertionList, addHeapInsertionList, enQueue, deQueue, and isEmpty. Regarding time complexity, the createBST function contains a single for loop, in order to insert a specified number of nodes into ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... While the dispPreOrder function, only executes once per call, recursively, the dispPreOrder function is required to execute N times, where N represents the number of nodes necessary for processing through the function. Therefore, the dispPreOrder function contains an order of N, or O(N) in Big O notation. Moreover, the dispLevelOrder function contains a single while loop, in order to construct a queue of nodes, by level, in order to develop a traversal by each level of the tree like structure. With a single while loop, and calls to the enQueue, deQueue, and isEmpty functions, the dispLevelOrder function executes, or conducts iterations a total of N times, where N represents the number of iterations through the while loop. Therefore, the dispLevelOrder function contains an order of N, or O(N) in Big O notation. The searchBST function is implemented as a recursive function, searching through an already constructed a binary tree. In relation to a binary search tree, the searchBST function executes only once per call, but executes log2N times, as the searching work is partitioned. Therefore, the searchBST function contains an order of log2N, or O(log2N) in Big O notation. As designed for the cases presented within the program, the searchHeap function contains a single while loop, in order to iterate through a queue of nodes, by level, in order to match a given, user entered key, within ...
