2. Process
The main features I used for this project was the cut tool, this tool helped me cut
sections out and then re attach them back together when I inserted my sound effects
into the main speech, I didn’t really use any other tool. The hardest part to this
section was cutting out the right bits so I had to make sure I got the right sections
other wise the words would be cut short so it would sound silly and un professional.
A section I found easy was finding the correct sound effects. This was the most
enjoyable bit out of everything because I could listen and observe what people have
created, most of the time I found the right sound effect for my experiment. These
sound effects make my morning routine sound a lot more interesting because before
I just had a monotone speech but now with the funny and realistic sound effects it
sounds much better. One other tool I might of used was the re sticking of the audio
sections. This tool helped me re start if I had messed up so this gave me plenty of
options to get it wrong. When I was putting in the sound effects Ihad to get it right so
it would sound messy along with the speech and this was the most frustrating section
of this because I would always overlap the sound effects where I didn’t want them so
I had to shorten the sound effects a lot so they fit in
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• Some main elements I will include from my experiments will be sound effects, I will try and convey the
style of sound effects over to my real production because I feel like I did a good job with these. This will
help my final production phase because it will make it sound a lot more interesting than it actually is so
more people might listen to it. Another aspect I might include will be the length, the reason why I want
the length to be shorter is because more people are most likely to listen ot it all if it is short and sweet and
strait to the point, this would be good because my podcast will be a factual podcast so you want to brief
people so the information stays in there head, but also if it is short they might want to listen again because
it is short.
