2. Process
• This first section is what I have
used for my background, this is
the perfect background for me
because it is dark red with
black, dark red was the type of
colour I was looking for and so
it suits my product very well,
the tools I have used to get this
into my work was copy and
paste. Another reason why I
like this background is because
it is very unique and I have
working space for a title at the
top and lots of dark space at
the bottom to add new things.

3. Process
• The next thing I added to get more
detail to my work was a working title
that had lines above and below it to
make sure people could see the
title. These line really helped my
define my title out as other colours
would not suit my work black was
the only option for me, the tools I
used to get this font was by using a
website called da font. This helped
me find cool and unique fonts, this
font does fit my work and that’s why
I chose it, it also unique and you
don’t see it often. The lines where
created by using a Photoshop tool
and this was nice and easy to do
making more time for other sections
longer

4. Process
• This is the bit where my product is looking
more and more like an advertisement
poster. There are games been showed at the
bottom of my work and I have taken a
unique approach to this by adding in the
actual fonts of the title of the games, this
will make more work stand out more and
more to the consumers I am targeting at. If
people recognise the game title they play
om they are more inclines to go over and
have a look because they are most familiar
with that title. The tools I used to get the
titles onto there was copy and paste and the
magic wand tool, the rectangles I used a tool
on Photoshop like the lines above and under
the title ROGUE GAMER.
• I like this a lot as it has mad my work much
more creative and should stand out to the
target audience and consumer.

5. Process
• In my final process I added in a
advertisement bonus which
encourages the consumers to buy
the magazine which i will also
creating. This is a very good feature
because it spreads my name out
more and tells people that there is
more products to see form this
company. The tool I used to create
the circle shape was another tool
from Photoshop,
• If you look under the title you can
see I have also added the date of
creation and the price of the
magazine when they come to
purchase the magazine. I used basic
text to create this and I think the
font is perfect and suits it

6. IMPROVED VERSIONPREVIOS VERSION
As you can see from the improvised version I have made the magazine front cover more clean and
symmetrical, this is a big deal because if a product looks more legitimate then people are more
interested in the product, the tools I used to make sure that all the sections where symmetrical
where the ruler tool and the ruler image, the ruler tool did help my to see what was in line and what
wasn’t. I also changed the price of the magazine, this is because it Is a monthly magazine so there
for will cost more as they are only getting it once a month instead of every week. I also find that
since I gave made everything in line the advertising of the games at the front has made it much more
clearer to see not only because it is standing out but because all the titles of the games are
complimenting each other so they are making each title stand out.

7. This is the stage where I put my
front cover into a format of a
magazine, this step was fairly
easy and it didn’t require much
effort and time so this made it
better for more complicated
things I needed time for in the
future, the tools I used to get
this bit was just copy and paste.
I also used a shape tool to get
the background for the banner
to the right of the front cover.
This first stage isn’t very
interesting because I have only
just started designing the
magazine

8. In this second stage I added my full
title that was going to be the main
selling point depending on the
game and so I made sure that I did a
unique attempt at this so this
included getting the real title of the
game and using that, I also made
sure that the colours I am using for
the shaped didn’t blend in with the
words, by choosing opposite colours
it has made my work stand out and
look different from other
magazines. The shapes I am using is
a rectangular shape and this is
because that is where I am going to
put my text and it is going to be in
column form. The tools I used for
this was the shape tool, copy and
paste and also text

9. As you can see I added my main piece
of text that is basically what the
people are buying this magazine for, I
made sure I wrote more than usual so
it doesn’t look cheap or that I rushed
it, I added a decent amount of detail in
there because people don’t want to
read a poorly written exclusive that
they was looking forward to and have
spent money on. I do like what I have
written about as well. I feel like have
done a good job with it and the tools
that helped with this was just the text
tool,
As you can also se is that I have added
another section of rectangle where I
am going to add more things to the
magazine. This is god because it means
that there is going to be more detail.

10. My last stage of designing my magazine
was to add all my other side sections
which just adds a tiny bit more detail
so this included two list and this was
10 best games and 5 worst games. This
seems very suitable for my magazine as
I am writing about games, hopefully
my audience likes this added feature.
The tools that I used to create this was
text tool and another shape tool, the
shape tool was used for sectioning bits
in the magazine area making it easier
for readers to know what bits they
want to look at, this was a good idea
because it made my work a lot neater. I
am happy with my finished product. I
feel like my colours are al perfect for
each other and they compliment each
other making the magazine stand out
much more than it should do

11. In my feedback stage where I decided to look through all my work I
thought I should still make adjustments to my double page spread,
I felt I should do this because there was still things I could still
improve on, so my step to improving my work was sorting out my
text to columns. i did this to make my magazine look more like a
magazine with the text, this has made my work look a lot neater
but I also added in a pull quote as well, this pull quote had made
my work look 100% more legitimate and stylish. Another thing I did
to my text was add a tiny section at then telling people to go to a
website to find more information. This was a good idea because it
gets the consumer more intrigued into what is in store for them
this also gives off the hint that there is more puzzles and hints to
be found about the chosen game being talked about. I added a
character at the bottom right of my magazine and removed a
section telling people the worst games on the store, I did this
because I didn’t want to tell people what a bad game was without
giving explanation potentially getting my magazine in trouble for
slandering another game I haven’t given my own opinion on in the
magazine even though those choices where mine personal
preference, this character is from the game lawbreakers and I have
already mentioned lawbreakers in my front cover so I saw fit that I
should add a character from a game I have mentioned. I made the
character look like he was swinging from the top 10 games which
adds a cool unique feature to the magazine. I made sure I made my
border lines around the top 10 best games thick and dark, this is
because if buyers do not like to read they can just look at a fun
little list I have made explaining what are the top 10 best games of
all time, this can get the reader engaged whether they do or don’t
agree with me.

12. This is my poster that I decided to go along with, the reason
why this is my poster is because it has minimal writing on t and
only say rogue gamer, if this had anymore detail on it then I
would have to re do the design, I feel like this is a good choice
because the colours are within my colour scheme which is really
good and the style of the text matches the posters style, I also
feel like this will attract many people with the tile been very
bold and big.
the tools that where used to create this was the snipping tool
and the copy and paste tool. I also changed the log that was at
the top of the original background, this was because I didn’t
want to advertise anything else so I had to paint over it, these
tools made my job much more easier and without them I would
struggle a lot.
