Working Title: rogue gamer
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later I wanted to choose this name
because Ithought it was very unique, the word rogue fits my magazine perfectly because Iwant my magazine
to be unique and a magazine that pulls awayfrom all the original magazines.
Product’s Purpose: to entertain people and to give them information on new and upcoming games
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: factual entertainment
What sort of productis it this productis a magazine and will be visuallyattracting that can attract people from
the cool looks that it will have.

poster and a few visuals from
What is your productabout? Discuss whatyou would put in it (be specific).Does ithave a story? If so,
discuss ithere
My products will have information on them helping people decide if they like the look of a game, the
main features the poster and magazine will have is very attractive visuals on the front with a cool font
style, the poster will also have a date on it to make the consumer very curios, in my eyes this is a
good thing because it can attract more people, the magazine however will have dark and bright
colours mixed together to give a neutral aspect towards the consumer which can also cause mystery.
Research& Planning from the researchand planning I will be using the feedback I have received to
create a product that the people who like the genre like my product, this is good because this moves
into my planning and how I influence myself the product. The colours and visuals will be influenced
alt from my feedback and research, this will overall help me improve my final product.
Where will you use elements ofyour research and planning to influence and inform your final idea (be specific
to certain parts)
Audience: my audience will mainly be people aged between 16-24,this is because on my survey that
is the most chosen question, this leads me to believe that only young people like this type of content,
now the gender which will most probably be picking up this magazine and poster will be male, this is
yet again down to the fact that more people selectedmale than female.Social status of who chooses
to look at the product can be any because everybody in any social status likes video games so I
presume they like video games magazines and posters. Overall my product will appeal to these
people because they like this type of content I am creating, this means that If I aim my product at the
people who like this then they will look at it.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed;age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your projectappeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations: no there will be no offensive materialin my work, this is because I do
not want to offend anybody.
I will not restrict younger people because it’s not my problem if parents let them look at this material.
My work might offend social groups who do not like violence, this is because my main focus is
around action games.
I will make sure it doesn’t offend anybody y reviewing my work and also by getting other people to
look at it just in case I have missed something that another person can spot.
I might be using specific characters to be featuredin my poster but I am not sure yet, will most
probably be using them in the magazine though. And I will be creating my own visuals.
My product will be very different from existing products because I want to bring something new to
the table. So this means it will not get copywriter by other companies.
Think aboutany offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos ofexisting products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement?
