I would say that the strengths discovered were
that enlisting all the sectors of the future
podcast were the most easiest to rule out
because since I know about autism myself it
was easy to talk about from perspective. This is
good because autism is a good topic to talk
about and understand. Another strength I ruled
out was the mood quotes I created, they gave
me a good idea of what to say within the
podcast during recording. It also helped me feel
more organised and prepared for what to type
up on my script. In all honesty, these plans
really did help my product because they were
the initial ideas of what I wanted to create for
the podcast and what I wanted to have
involved. The weakness however I found was
explaining the different ideas on the first mind
map because I couldn’t make my mind up about
which idea to go forth with because they are all
part of my personal life. I could have improved
these plans by adding more about the different
ideas and adding more bubbles and less
pictures to explore more on the options. These
plans have a great effect upon my product
please theses are the original border line,
meaning that they were the initial thinking of
what I was going to create and what to
incorporate.

In terms of strengths for the research, I
would say the construction of the
questionnaire was the biggest because I
managed to come up with such viable
questions with responses that served
the overall research well. Also, the
observations of the interviews came out
really well and detailed since the
questions were similar to the
questionnaire questions. I would say
that this research helped my work really
well larger than the plans because I went
into depth on real life similar podcasts
and interview opinions, gaining me
more confidence with making my
podcast.The weakness however was
analysing the existing products because
there was no a lot to comment on only
the music and the topic because it is
about autism and autism can be easy to
talk about too. I could have improved
the research by adding more to the
annotations of the existing products and
maybe even explore more example with
more detail. To be honest, the research
has a greater effect than the plans upon
my product because I’m now delving
into more detail and explore real ones
and pick out common elements that
they all have.

In terms of strengths, I would say that
creating the script was the most easiest part
of the experiment because I managed to
come up with a non complex and simple
script that wasn’t hard for me to read because
since I’m autistic , complex words may be
hard for me to pronounce. Also, the
chronologically was precise and perfect plus
sharp, meaning it’s the truth and what really
happens on a morning in the right order. This
experiment did indeed helped my work really
well because it gave me an idea of how to use
Premier Pro to construct my podcast and
what features to use to make it interesting.
However the weakness was that arranging
and finding the right audio was tricky because
they all had nearly the same name ‘Recording’
and not an individual name to learn off by
heart, so it was heard to memorise the right
one in which track. I could have improved the
experiment by adding more sound effects to
it because it was hard to hear the footsteps
and eating rice crispies de to the music. I do
think that this experiment has a great effect
upon my work because it helped me to get
used to how to use Premier Pro and the
functions it comes with, in order to get used
to making a good podcast.

To start off, I would like to think that the
biggest strength of the proposal was
explaining the Legal & Ethical
Considerations because since autism is an
existing topic and widely talked about
across the globe, it will not cause any
offence as there is people helping autistics
every day and their lives.Another strength
I can think of is explaining the podcast’s
content and what will be included within
the product when constructed. I believe
that the proposal has backed up the
product really well because it was basically
an formal explanation of what to expect
within the product and the promising
content that will be involved. In terms of
weaknesses however, it was explaining the
audience range because I wanted my
podcast to become some form of
educational source, but not confusing for
young ones, so I verified it to ending
primary school age to beyond. I could
improve the proposal by adding more
content about the genre I used as well as
the working title of the product and give it
more of an exciting name and not plain
and boring. This proposal defiantly has a
great effect upon my work because it
helped me feel more confident with the
idea I went forward with and feel more
guaranteed on it’s liking and content.

Starting with the strengths, I would say
that coming up with the chart of the
sound effects and music that I will be used
within the podcast and how I will
incorporate it together to make it fit and
chronologic. Also, the construction of the
daily schedule was easy because I manged
to organise what to do on each day and
surprisingly, I got it done much quicker
than expected. I would say that the pre
production did back up my work really
well because I gained more confidence on
time limits and what I can use to make the
podcast as it is today. Also, it made me
organised and ready for construction. The
weakness however was explaining the
possible issues that may be encountered
along the way and how to solve them if
needed. I could improve by adding more
to the music chart by selecting another
song and the process I will use on Premier
Pro, as well as more health and safety
contents I could face.This process has a
huge effect upon my work because it
helped me feel more organised about my
work and prepared for what I need to do
when the time came.

Beginning with strengths, I would
say that the assembly of the
podcast with the separate clips
was the easiest part because I
knew which clips were which by
heart and were easy to assemble.
Also, finding the music was
another qualified strength because
all I had to do was find a suitable
converter, and the converting itself
was easy to do, just add the link
then wait for the process until
100% then download it to your
files ready to use, this was so easy.
I would say the weakness was
explain the reflection because
there was not much to talk about
and the process of the podcast was
easy to handle. I could improve
this production by adding more to
the reflection, as well as adding
more sound effects and music to
the podcast to make it more
interesting.
I would say the research was the
strongest part of my planning because it
gave me a glimpse of real life podcasts
that would be similar to mine in the
process and exploring possible elements
that all podcasts have in common that I
could use. I would say my planning overall
helped my product really well because it
helped me feel more organise and
prepared with what I was about to create,
as well as research for inspiration and
ideas. The weakness however was the
amount of detail that was present, there
was not enough and this leads into the
improvements, I could have improved by
adding more detail to the different
process such as the experiments, this is
key because there is more to these
processes than meets the eye, I just didn’t
add all the details such as the special
effects. Overall, the planning has a great
effect upon my work because it was the
initial planning and layout of what I want
to include in my podcast and research
essential elements.
Overall, I believe that I
managed my time, I even
finished my work quicker
than expected and
finished the evaluation
much quickly expected
too. Luckily, I manged to
complete my work in time
and no work was dine out
of time except the
experiment because it
took longer than
expected with the
different clips being
named nearly the same
name. If I had extra time, I
would add more sound
effects and music in order
to make it more appealing
and interesting.

GeorgeThe Poet: Stories FromThe Spectrum
My Podcast
Similarities:They both have the same topic discussed which is autism, and also explain
their views on living with the condition as well as what the basics are about it. Also, they
both have relaxing and non hardening music on the background to make the situation
feel more relaxing than intensifying.
Differences: A male (George) talks about autism whilst my product is talked by self, so a
different in genders. Also the existing one is an hour long whilst mine is only about 5
minutes. Another difference I can spot out is that at the begin, there is a radio static
noise in the poet podcast whilst mine does not and immediately cuts into the audio and
not static noise is heard but the singing of an autistic child. Also, the music in mine is
much more quieter.
I believe that my work does sound good
and well organised, but I do feel a little
embarrassed as the sound effects are
done by self. I do think it is creative
because autism is such a well talked
about topic across the globe. The aspects
of the audio that I personally like is the
music because it has a calm, smooth and
abstract tune to it which implies that
autistics prefer the quite atmosphere. I
would improve on my vocals, and make
the music less louder than the voice so
that the vocals are the loudest than the
music. I would improve this by making
the volume of the vocals louder than the
music by using the clip’s volume ranking.
The strengths of this was converging all
of the individual clips together and place
them in chronological order to make it
perfect and simple.The weakness
however was exporting it because some
of the audio went missing, but thanks to
my tutor, we fixed it.
I believe I have appealed my
audience my not making the
audio frightening and terrifying
like something from a rated 15
film, but rather more friendly
and educational by talking about
autism and how can we help
those living with it. I would say
that the discussion of what
autism is all about is the key
content of why my product
appealed my chosen audience
because like before, I intended
for my product to be something
of a educational source.
Peer
Feedback
•What did you like about the product?
•I like the overall theme of the product as well as how
informative it is toward an ongoing condition in real
life.
•What improvements could have been
made to the product?
•At some points the music goes over the audio, so
you are unable to hear the audio when it does that.
•What did you like about the product?
I liked that the voice over was clear and easy to
understand and it also fits in with the background
music.
The sound effects were well made and well placed in
the audio because it was well made.
•What improvements could have been made to
the product?
I thought that it was perfectly well made so there is no
improvements needed.
•What do you agree with from your
peer feedback?
I do agree with the fact that the voice over
should be louder than the music, the music
is seemed to be a lot quieter so it needs a
push in volume
•What do you disagree with from your
peer feedback?
No Comment: I agree with the
improvements.
I would change the volume of the voice over and make it
much louder than the music so it is clear and easy to
hear. I need to make sure it is in clear focus and mainly
concentrates on talking about the topic rather than
listening to the music.

FMP Evaluation Podcast Production Process

  • 3. P R O C E S S I would say that the strengths discovered were that enlisting all the sectors of the future podcast were the most easiest to rule out because since I know about autism myself it was easy to talk about from perspective. This is good because autism is a good topic to talk about and understand. Another strength I ruled out was the mood quotes I created, they gave me a good idea of what to say within the podcast during recording. It also helped me feel more organised and prepared for what to type up on my script. In all honesty, these plans really did help my product because they were the initial ideas of what I wanted to create for the podcast and what I wanted to have involved. The weakness however I found was explaining the different ideas on the first mind map because I couldn’t make my mind up about which idea to go forth with because they are all part of my personal life. I could have improved these plans by adding more about the different ideas and adding more bubbles and less pictures to explore more on the options. These plans have a great effect upon my product please theses are the original border line, meaning that they were the initial thinking of what I was going to create and what to incorporate.
  • 4. P R O C E S S In terms of strengths for the research, I would say the construction of the questionnaire was the biggest because I managed to come up with such viable questions with responses that served the overall research well. Also, the observations of the interviews came out really well and detailed since the questions were similar to the questionnaire questions. I would say that this research helped my work really well larger than the plans because I went into depth on real life similar podcasts and interview opinions, gaining me more confidence with making my podcast. The weakness however was analysing the existing products because there was no a lot to comment on only the music and the topic because it is about autism and autism can be easy to talk about too. I could have improved the research by adding more to the annotations of the existing products and maybe even explore more example with more detail. To be honest, the research has a greater effect than the plans upon my product because I’m now delving into more detail and explore real ones and pick out common elements that they all have.
  • 5. P R O C E S S In terms of strengths, I would say that creating the script was the most easiest part of the experiment because I managed to come up with a non complex and simple script that wasn’t hard for me to read because since I’m autistic , complex words may be hard for me to pronounce. Also, the chronologically was precise and perfect plus sharp, meaning it’s the truth and what really happens on a morning in the right order. This experiment did indeed helped my work really well because it gave me an idea of how to use Premier Pro to construct my podcast and what features to use to make it interesting. However the weakness was that arranging and finding the right audio was tricky because they all had nearly the same name ‘Recording’ and not an individual name to learn off by heart, so it was heard to memorise the right one in which track. I could have improved the experiment by adding more sound effects to it because it was hard to hear the footsteps and eating rice crispies de to the music. I do think that this experiment has a great effect upon my work because it helped me to get used to how to use Premier Pro and the functions it comes with, in order to get used to making a good podcast.
  • 6. P R O C E S S To start off, I would like to think that the biggest strength of the proposal was explaining the Legal & Ethical Considerations because since autism is an existing topic and widely talked about across the globe, it will not cause any offence as there is people helping autistics every day and their lives.Another strength I can think of is explaining the podcast’s content and what will be included within the product when constructed. I believe that the proposal has backed up the product really well because it was basically an formal explanation of what to expect within the product and the promising content that will be involved. In terms of weaknesses however, it was explaining the audience range because I wanted my podcast to become some form of educational source, but not confusing for young ones, so I verified it to ending primary school age to beyond. I could improve the proposal by adding more content about the genre I used as well as the working title of the product and give it more of an exciting name and not plain and boring. This proposal defiantly has a great effect upon my work because it helped me feel more confident with the idea I went forward with and feel more guaranteed on it’s liking and content.
  • 7. P R O C E S S Starting with the strengths, I would say that coming up with the chart of the sound effects and music that I will be used within the podcast and how I will incorporate it together to make it fit and chronologic. Also, the construction of the daily schedule was easy because I manged to organise what to do on each day and surprisingly, I got it done much quicker than expected. I would say that the pre production did back up my work really well because I gained more confidence on time limits and what I can use to make the podcast as it is today. Also, it made me organised and ready for construction. The weakness however was explaining the possible issues that may be encountered along the way and how to solve them if needed. I could improve by adding more to the music chart by selecting another song and the process I will use on Premier Pro, as well as more health and safety contents I could face. This process has a huge effect upon my work because it helped me feel more organised about my work and prepared for what I need to do when the time came.
  • 8. P R R O C E S S Beginning with strengths, I would say that the assembly of the podcast with the separate clips was the easiest part because I knew which clips were which by heart and were easy to assemble. Also, finding the music was another qualified strength because all I had to do was find a suitable converter, and the converting itself was easy to do, just add the link then wait for the process until 100% then download it to your files ready to use, this was so easy. I would say the weakness was explain the reflection because there was not much to talk about and the process of the podcast was easy to handle. I could improve this production by adding more to the reflection, as well as adding more sound effects and music to the podcast to make it more interesting.
  • 9. I would say the research was the strongest part of my planning because it gave me a glimpse of real life podcasts that would be similar to mine in the process and exploring possible elements that all podcasts have in common that I could use. I would say my planning overall helped my product really well because it helped me feel more organise and prepared with what I was about to create, as well as research for inspiration and ideas. The weakness however was the amount of detail that was present, there was not enough and this leads into the improvements, I could have improved by adding more detail to the different process such as the experiments, this is key because there is more to these processes than meets the eye, I just didn’t add all the details such as the special effects. Overall, the planning has a great effect upon my work because it was the initial planning and layout of what I want to include in my podcast and research essential elements.
  • 10. Overall, I believe that I managed my time, I even finished my work quicker than expected and finished the evaluation much quickly expected too. Luckily, I manged to complete my work in time and no work was dine out of time except the experiment because it took longer than expected with the different clips being named nearly the same name. If I had extra time, I would add more sound effects and music in order to make it more appealing and interesting.
  • 11. https://audioboom.com/posts/3318676-george-the-poet-s- stories-from-the-spectrum-bbc-radio-1-s-stories?t=0%20 GeorgeThe Poet: Stories FromThe Spectrum My Podcast Similarities:They both have the same topic discussed which is autism, and also explain their views on living with the condition as well as what the basics are about it. Also, they both have relaxing and non hardening music on the background to make the situation feel more relaxing than intensifying. Differences: A male (George) talks about autism whilst my product is talked by self, so a different in genders. Also the existing one is an hour long whilst mine is only about 5 minutes. Another difference I can spot out is that at the begin, there is a radio static noise in the poet podcast whilst mine does not and immediately cuts into the audio and not static noise is heard but the singing of an autistic child. Also, the music in mine is much more quieter.
  • 12. I believe that my work does sound good and well organised, but I do feel a little embarrassed as the sound effects are done by self. I do think it is creative because autism is such a well talked about topic across the globe. The aspects of the audio that I personally like is the music because it has a calm, smooth and abstract tune to it which implies that autistics prefer the quite atmosphere. I would improve on my vocals, and make the music less louder than the voice so that the vocals are the loudest than the music. I would improve this by making the volume of the vocals louder than the music by using the clip’s volume ranking. The strengths of this was converging all of the individual clips together and place them in chronological order to make it perfect and simple. The weakness however was exporting it because some of the audio went missing, but thanks to my tutor, we fixed it.
  • 13. I believe I have appealed my audience my not making the audio frightening and terrifying like something from a rated 15 film, but rather more friendly and educational by talking about autism and how can we help those living with it. I would say that the discussion of what autism is all about is the key content of why my product appealed my chosen audience because like before, I intended for my product to be something of a educational source.
  • 15. •What did you like about the product? •I like the overall theme of the product as well as how informative it is toward an ongoing condition in real life. •What improvements could have been made to the product? •At some points the music goes over the audio, so you are unable to hear the audio when it does that.
  • 16.
  • 17. •What did you like about the product? I liked that the voice over was clear and easy to understand and it also fits in with the background music. The sound effects were well made and well placed in the audio because it was well made. •What improvements could have been made to the product? I thought that it was perfectly well made so there is no improvements needed.
  • 18. •What do you agree with from your peer feedback? I do agree with the fact that the voice over should be louder than the music, the music is seemed to be a lot quieter so it needs a push in volume •What do you disagree with from your peer feedback? No Comment: I agree with the improvements.
  • 19. I would change the volume of the voice over and make it much louder than the music so it is clear and easy to hear. I need to make sure it is in clear focus and mainly concentrates on talking about the topic rather than listening to the music.
