Colours I want to use These will be some main colours that I use in my pre production experiments, I want to use these
because they all contrast each other which is good because that means the colours stand out more and
maybe attracting more people altogether to look at the poster, I might add some of these into the
magazine as well because if people will like the look of these colours then surly they will like them inside
the magazine unless they want something different and new to look at to keep them interested in the
visual aspect. I wanted to add red in there as I have wanted to make a poster and magazine with the
colour red, this is because red is a very unique colour. Some shades of grey can interpret evil meaning
whilst others can portray good things, this is good because I want my poster and magazine to be different
from the rest like game informer an Microsoft who only use the colour green and white since that is
there main colours.
Fonts
One font that I would like to use is doctor glitch, this is because the font is very unique
and this suits my magazine and poster because my things are going to be different from
all the other magazines that are out in store.
Other fonts I would like to use in my final products are;
• top secret
• Future paint
• Built titling
I might use these fonts as well because they all show a different message inside of them,
for example top secret is very bold and abstract that shows creativity and future paint
shows somethings that is new and ideal for a magazine that wants to be unique, also with
future paint it is basically saying this font hasn’t been seen anywhere before because its in
the future and my magazine cold do with some bold creativity.
Built titling is more relaxed and more modern, this would be less ideal for me because
you are guaranteed to find this on another magazine which is bad, I want my magazine to
be fresh and creative with ideas know body has seen before.

3. Layout 1
with this first layout you can see that I have
gone with a bright colour scheme, I did this
because I wanted to see what a poster
would look like if it was bright and not dark.
I like the way I have positioned certain
things on this poster, it makes it look
unique in a way that people like. The tools I
used to create this copy and paste, I also
used the tool that cuts certain sections out,
this tool really helped me because I could
cut whatever I wanted to and this made me
able to edit whatever I wanted.
I might design another poster like this
because I do like this design and game and
this is good because if I enjoy something
more I will create something much better,
One way I could improve my work is by
changing the colour of titles because as you
can see you can hardly see the words that
are on that poster.

4. Layout 2
In this second layout I only added 3 things
to this poster and this was background
colour, one picture and title, this was only
a very basic layout on what a bland poster
would look like. I do not like this poster
because it is really boring and will not
attract anybody, I also decided to choose a
dark colour scheme, this is because I
wanted to compare it to the light colour
scheme that I used In the other layout.
Some tools that I used in the this layout
was copy and paste along with the magic
wand tool that removes certain sections
of the image. This magic wand tool made
the whole process easer and even though
there is hardly anything on this layout I
still need to use this tool for the title and
character at the bottom,
In future I could add much more like more
eye popping titles and more images.

5. Props & Locations
Software and resources Locations needed
Photoshop I will need a computer with Photoshop on, this is so I
can edit my work and make it better when designing
my products. This will be located in the computer
Internet I will need internet because I have to get images from
there which will massively help me when I come to put
all my things together when designing my product. This
will be located in the computer
PowerPoint PowerPoint will be the main software I need to use
when I am reflecting on my work and when I need to
finish certain sections the curse requires me to do. This
will be located in the computer.
Word Word will not be used as much as the others
mentioned. Only used for one or two sections and will
be found within the computer again.
Survey monkey Survey monkey will be a big part in my work because I
need to find out what age my audience likes as in terms
of shapes colours and products all together, this will be
found within the internet

6. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Photoshop doesn’t work try restarting the computer then opening
again, if this doesn’t work then go to a different
computer altogether
computer files corrupt make sure I double save files in a different
location on a USB or send the files to my email
address.
computer doesn’t work move to a different computer and see if that
solves the issue. Also get a IT technician to have
a look at the computer so this doesn't happen
again
PowerPoint is broken try restarting the software if problem still
persists then move to a different computer. Also
get somebody to have a look just as a witness
that the software is actually broke.
Internet is down try getting some things done at home then
sending the work to the school email to
complete at college.
loss of files all together always make sure I have backed up the work,
and send the work to other people as another
back up, this can reduce the risk of loosing files.

7. Health and Safety

headaches if you get a headache the stop working on the
computer and get some water.
Paper cuts when handling the magazine and poster always
be careful when around them.
burns make sure that the magazine and poster is far
away from any flammable substances so there
isn’t a risk of fire.
choking hazard make sure that this poster cannot be eaten by
children as they have a chance of hurting
themselves.

8. Schedule
